3 mins walk from Namba subway station”

Stayed here with my wife and 4 year old son. Could not think of any other hotel at better location in Osaka for the price. It's about 3 mins walk from Namba subway station and Nambai Nankai line which will bring you to Kansai International Airport. The only other hotel nearer to Namba station would be Swissotel, but it's right next to one of the train lines, while Il Cuore is located in one of the more quiet corner of main road crossings. Shoppings would not be an issue. Marui and Takashimaya are located right by the station area, and if you walk a bit further up North towards Shin Osaka you'll find Daimaru. A lot of various options of dining and shopping in the area with different street "arcades" nearby. In terms of facilities, Il Cuore has a great modern lobby and new facilities of basic business needs such as desktops and printers. Reception staffs are professional with basic English skills, so we didn't have any issue asking for directions or recommendations. The room and bathroom are very clean and more spacious than comparable hotels in Japan.

Fabulous (on a Budget)”

It was a great visit. The hotel was located in a great location, it was so easy to travel around with 2 mins walk to a subway station. It was also very convenient to go to the airport from there, and there were many convenient stores, as well as restuarants nearby. Furtheremore, compared with the promotion price I paid, the service was beyond expectation. The staff well understood English. Although the room was a bit small - it was not really small, compared with Japanese standard - the room was neat and clean, and all amenities I needed was provided (visit the hotel's website for more details). For ones concern about connectivity to people in your country, don't worry, the hotel's wi-fi was fast enough to smoothly video call to you friends and family. In summary, you would not be disappointed to choose staying at Hotel Il Cuore Namba, as it would provide you a fine and pleasant experience, and would made your travel somehow more smooth and easier. It worth your money!

Great stay, location and buffet. Value for money”

Had a nice stay in this hotel. It was just a 5min walk from Namba Nankai station. Very accessible to Ebishu Bashi-suji shopping street, all the way to Dotonbori and Shinshaibashi. Buffet was great, lots of choices from bread, miso, rice, salad, eggs, and drinks, with our fave sausage and shredded cabbage. They also made the coffee available during breakfast as suggested, which we really appreciate. The hotel mgt was open minded in our suggestion abt coffee availability and now, instead of coffee not being available from 7-10am, they offer it for free anytime. No more time restriction. Thanks Hotel IL Cuore! As for the room we booked - Economy Double, it was just enough for us, space wise. Has a huge TV, but a bit slow in response when you switch channels. Bed was comfy and clean. Toiletries were complete and provides 2 bottled water daily. The lobby was spacious - best spot to chillax and have some coffee or tea since the coffee machine was placed there with to go cups. All in all, one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in. Highly recommended esp if you booked it with huge discount. Will stay in this hotel again if we come back. Arigatou gozaimasu! :)

Our Favourite Hotel This Trip To Japan”

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at Hotel IL Cuore Namba. The hotel is in a great area and is close to shops, dining and transport. The rooms were very clean and had enough room for our suitcases. The staff speak good English and are very helpful. The hotel is a great place to stay for sightseeing travellers, who want to explore the main areas of Osaka.

Excellent choice for a great price ”

We arrived early in the evening from Manila to Osaka. We took the Kansai airport train to Namba station. In Namba station, we went straight to the tourist center and they gave us a "Namba Area" map, which lead us to the exit of IL Coure Namba Hotel (North exit). From there, we did not have any problems looking for the Hotel. We also did had no problems with the late check in. The room we got was with 2 single beds. It was a good sized room for Japan standards. Plus, it was very clean and comfortable. We stayed here for 4 nights and had a very pleasant stay! IL Coure Namba is in a quiet area but close enough to the Shinsaibashi and Dotonburi area where all the action is! I will definitely stay here when I visit Osaka again!

Hotel IL Cuore Namba stay”

This was my first stay at the Hotel IL Cuore Namba and it was a long one, two weeks but it was a pleasant one and I would recommend this to anyone. In fact I would definitely stay here in the future again as it was in a great location for me. Close to trains, food & shopping. Only thing I would like to have seen was a screen on the window that opened since I liked having it open most of the time I was in the room and always worried about bugs (or birds) getting in the room. Only had one mosquito and one fly get in but it could have been worse. Also, I used the lobby computers many times and found them to be much too slow! I would like them to upgrade these and it would make my stay much more enjoyable.

Close proximity to Namba shopping area”

1) Hotel is extremely convenient as it is very close to the Namba station (Mitsudoji subway line, 25mins from Shin-Osaka station for Shinkansen. 1 stop from Shinsaibashi station). Get out from Exit 5 (upriding escalator only), where you will exit to a cross junction. Cross the junction and continue to walk straight for about 50 metres, passing FamilyMart before reaching the hotel on your left. It takes less than 3 mins to walk over. Or take Exit 10 which has a lift, and exit at the other side of the cross junction. The Namba station has numerous exits to the various shopping malls in Namba. The JR loop line which ends at Namba JR station but you can walk via the underground pass to the Namba subway station in about 10 mins. There are many lockers at the Namba station, including the big sized ones for big suitcases and during my 4 days stay, they were mostly available. 2) Counter staff was polite when I checked in at 245pm (15 mins early) without any issues, and managed to get the non-smoking room as requested. 3) Room was not too small. I stayed alone in a double-room so it was ok. However, if there were 2 people, it will be difficult to open 2 suitcases at the same time. Bed is able to accommodate 2 adults. 4) There was only 1 English channel. 5) My only complaint is the air-conditioning. It was late autumn and the temperature ranged between 10 – 16 degrees C. However, the air-conditioning was centrally-controlled and maintained at 24 degrees C. It was ok at night, but during the day, it gets stuffy and I found myself sweating. You can open the windows to let cool air in, but my room faced the morning sun so it was really hot in the day. Further, there was a metal pavement right outside the window (fire escape) so I wouldn’t recommend opening the window throughout the night. All in all, the stay had been pleasant. As I stayed alone in a double room, the price was rather high. However, had there been someone to share the room rate, it was definitely worth the price.

Happy, great and satisfy”

It was a very happy and great experience to stay in Hotel IL Cuore Namba. The convenient location is speechless, close to the shopping centre, walking distance to different attrative shopping area & market. Very easy access to the train station to other city and airport. The only downside is the room temperature is too high, indeed would comment it is too hot. Eventhough I open the window still find difficult to sleep well in such a high room temperature.The wifi is good & fast, love the hotel

Very easy to find this hotel. If you take Nankai line direct to Namba station (which is last stop). Get down the escalator, turn left (you should see the 'Swissotel Nanka Osaka 4 or 5 star hotel' on your left hand side, but double cost compare to hotel Ilucuore). Walk straight, facing the road, turn right. You should see a traffic light at your left side (opp shop is something like Daiso, selling shampoo, tissue.. cheap stuff). Wait for the green light cross the road, walk straight till you see the family mart at your left side. Infront there is a car park at your left side. Then you might see the "Hotel Ilucuore". Less than 5min walk can reach the hotel. This Namba station, link to the other few subline. so easy to travel around. My husband, daughter 4years old and me. like this room very much, non-smoking room super clean. everything provided. like electric converter, alot of plug for us to charge our phone/ipad/camera. Also wireless free services provided. Sponge for bathe and hair bend also provided. Only 1 thing no good, die die must wait till 3pm then can check in. Eventhough surronding have a lot of place to shop and eat. but travel in night really didnt sleep well. Really torture when waiting since 10am-3pm, wait about 1pm my girl tired till fall in sleep, no choice have to carry her back to hotel, rest place (have sofa, coffee, computer for surf net and also wireless service) to wait till 3pm. Luckily I bring along my ipad, can enjoy my movie on the sofa while my girl sleeping beside. For those who first time travel to Osaka, highly recommended buy the Osaka unlimited pass which only cost yen 2700 (specially for tourist) few places entry free and have discount coupon for eat and buy thing.

Great location and Nice Hotel”

It's a nice experience staying in Hotel IL Cuore Namba. the hotel is very near to subway station (<5mins walk) with food and mall all nearby. for security wise, they only provide 1 hotel room key per room. Access to lift after 10pm need to use room key. A cons that we are not used to - there's no safety locker in the room. Value for Money. Rated 4/5. No comment on the facilities (not sure if there's any) as we do not have time to explore much in the hotel.

Exceptional”

Stayed 4 nights and then returned for an additional 1 night after trips to Koyasan, Okayama, Hiroshima. Hotel stored luggage and accepted takyubin parcel while we were away from Osaka. On our return the stored luggage and parcel had already been put into our room. Highly recommend Il Cuore for service, location, value, facilities (just don't expect spacious rooms. Unless you pay big bucks, rooms in Japan are compact). Also excellent breakfast buffet for 1000 yen.

Convenient location”

Hotel Il Cuore Namba has an excellent location and cost friendly rooms that allow a long holiday stay without too much of a pinch. The location is very convenient, however, have clear directions on how to find the hotel is accessing by train from the airport. Very helpful staff that speak adequate English to help address enquires and needs. Excellent value for money.

The Hotel IL Cuore Namba is a very good budget hotel. It doesn’t have all the facilities of a larger hotel: Dining room, restaurants, gym etc but if you just need a well located, clean room to use as a base while you visit explore Osaka it is perfect. There is no room service or mini bar so check out is quick and easy. Super fast wifi in the room is great. Staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is a next door to the train station so it is really easy to get to and from the airport. The JR Station is further away, so if you are leaving via the bullet train make sure you go to the JR station and not the train station. Close to local bars and restaurants, and the huge shopping strip this is a very well located hotel. This is very much a functional hotel for people who just need a room. For that I would recommend it. The rooms are small but clean. All that is really needed as you should be out exploring Osaka.

Comfortable, clean and easy access”

We really enjoy our stay in this hotel. Their staff is very friendly. They happily accommodate our late checking (near midnight) request. The hotel is located strategically in namba and it is surrounded by 3 main stations , proving easy access to all intended destination. In addition, the hotel us within walking distance to the busy and lively dotonburi. You can find the most delicious takoyaki, okonomiyaki and gyoza here!! If we are ever coming back to osaka, hotel il cuore namba is no doubt our choice for accommodation.

convenient location”

Alike most hotels in Osaka around Hanami time, Il Cuore is a bit over-priced. It is, however, clean and well-managed, located literally steps from a 24 hour convenience store, 2 blocks from train station (where you can catch fast train to Kansai airport, which is even faster than the train you can catch to airport from Umeda station). For a simple double room at US$140/night, it was fine but nothing spectacular.

Good location”

Il Cuore is easily accessuible from Namba Subway and Nankai Aitport line ..use Exit 5. Hotel is off the main road, so is quiet. It is near the Namba shopping area and Shinshasabi shopping area. Only problem with the hotel is the airconditioning which seems be centrally contriolled .. sometimes warm air even if you chose coo and need Reception to reset.

I was a solo traveler stayed this hotel for 7 nights. The hotel is just next to osaka namba station and close (7min walk)to jr namba station too. Very easy access to kansai airport and nara/kobe/kyoto. Walking distance to osaka city area Dotonbori. If you have jr pass you can walk to jr namba station. I moved around from osaka to kumamoto in kyushu and back to kyoto, stayed a few diffrent hotels, but the amenities this hotel provided was the best. It would be better if the ventilation system is a bit better other than that it is a great hotel to stay for solo travelers.

Great Location and Service”

Hotel IL CUORE Namba is such a lovely hotel with great service. It is near the tourist spots in Osaka and near their trains. Room is a bit small but its good for a small family. Overall the hotel is such a value for money in that area. I will definitely go back to that Hotel.

A hidden gem”

A small quaint hotel, Hotel Il-Cuore is only 200 meters away from Exit 5 of Namba Station. The room is clean with its own mini refrigerator and a fast boiling kettle. With just $50/nt, it is definitely a value for money hotel.
