Simple and clean stay”

Nice guest house to stay although we just stayed a night, however they didn’t provide towel, just a small linen. Location is fine although many taxi drivers in Chiayi HSR said it’s very deep inside including the staff, they offered us 100twd for pick up from Budai Township community center (布袋港镇所), however it’s very near, less than 5 mins walk. In the end, they offered free pick up because we hiring them to send us to ferry pier to take the ferry next morning. Nearby also have local food, small and vintage shop but food was good and affordable. Family stay may not suitable unless your kids are above age 12.

Nice Lodging to/from Penghu Island”

There is almost nothing in the Budai Township, and we were only here for the night to catch a ferry the next day to Penghu Island. We rode the train from Tainan to the Xinying stop and the owner of the hotel will pick you up from the Xinying station for NT$120 per person (it's a half an hour ride). There is also a bus that goes into the town from the Xinying station but it takes longer. The hotel itself is clean and the room decor is cute. There is a large refrigerator in the stairwell for guests to use. We got there around dinner time and wanted dinner and the hotel owner pointed us to this seafood restaurant (out the hotel, make a left and walk down several hundred meters). The food was just so-so and we paid $2,000 for not a lot of food. I was disappointed that he didn't mention that if we had turned right from the hotel, there are mom and pop shops that sells the typical rice/noodle dishes for very cheap. (I'd rather have had that). If you turn right out the hotel you'll also eventually hit a FamilyMart as well as two tea/juice establishments. For whatever reason they only provide small towels for bathing. They do have large ones available --- you just have to ask for it.

Homestay close to the port”

it is one of the rare hotel next to the budai port. It's more like a homestay. Nice owner.

Lovely little building”

All new facilities, very nice place and although we couldn't communicate with the staff very well they were happy to get us to the harbour for Penghu for only 100ntd

Overnight stay for sightseeing at Penghu Islands”

The owner is very helpful, reliable and trustworthy. The room facing the main street tends to be noisy at night.

Nicely decoratated room but extremely overpriced”

We paid 1.000 dollar in the weekend for a small room in the middle of nowhere. Extremely overpriced and therefor not recommended. If you pay half the price it will be okay. Owners don't speak any English. Nothing to do in the surroundings. They are only interested in your dollars

服務佳的民宿”

老闆娘很忙，但有需求請求她協助，她都會幫忙解決。洗衣方便，有一大晾衣場，停車也非常方便。

不要看它地處鄉下地方, 但是它簡單乾淨, 住宿品質絕對不是那種老舊旅館可以比的. 推薦！

節日漲太多了”

因月津港燈會才去入住，月津燈會原來是普普的地雷，不會再去看，也就是不會再入住了。

優:地點很方便，出高速公路一會就到，開車去夜市也是大概20公鐘,價錢不貴，老闆人很好，會幫忙搬行李。 缺：樓梯很𨺗，要爬上3樓不方便，厠所有臭味，房間有點潮濕味道，要開抽濕機一小時後才消失，冷氣機很舊，遙控器有點壞。 總的來說，如果沒什麼要求，可以一住。
