Good location - good services”

Bangkok as an Asian city doesn’t have a city center, as we consider it in the European cities. But many people consider the Siam Square as a center of the city. Near Siam square there are a lot of shopping centers. From that side Arnoma hotel is in the very center of the city. It’s just on the other side of the road from the ZEN, Isetan, Central World, five minutes walk from Paragon and many others. The location is more then very convenient. It’s excellent if you want to spend 1, 2, 10 or 100 thousand baht for clothes, shoes and accessories produced by leading fashion and design companies from all over the world. If you appeared to be to addictive on shopping and bought too much you can just cross the road and leave you overloaded bags in your room in Arnoma hotel and go back shopping. You can also leave your tired husband in your hotel room or in the hotel’s bar. As for the hotel Arnoma itself it is not new and from that side it might seem a little bit expensive. But all other hotels near by are more expensive (Intercontinental, Four Seasons etc.). If you want to live in this part of the city for reasonable money you should choose Arnoma hotel. Room is not very big, but very clean, bed sheets, towels are white and new. Hotel personnel is friendly and helpful, breakfast is nice.

If you're in Bangkok for shopping...”

This is the 2nd time I've stayed at Arnoma Hotel. It's a big hotel with many guests so it has a rowdy but family-friendly atmosphere. Although it's old, it's quite clean, unless you're particularly fastidious. The staff are also polite and helpful. Perhaps those who like it very quiet at night might have problems. The 2nd time I was there on a Saturday night, there was an event at CentralWorld across the road with live music. From our 15th floor room facing CentralWorld, we could hear the music till past 9pm (don't know when they stopped because we fell asleep). Another friend whose room faced the other side said he could also hear the music but faintly. But why I've come back and will probably keep coming back to this hotel is due to it's great location for shopping. Within 5-10 mins walking distance - Big C supermarket (with food court on top floor, Platinum Fashion Mall (my favourite!), CentralWorld shopping mall (with Naraya & Jim Thompson), Pratunam Market, street food & street stalls all along the road, Chit Lom BTS (20 mins to Chattuchak weekend market). Within 15-20 mins walking distance - Siam Square, Siam Paragon, MBK (or take the BTS 2 stops) So if you're in Bangkok for shopping (like I often am), Arnoma may be a reasonably priced option for you.

Exceeded expectations!”

I've stayed at three different hotels in Bangkok the past month. Two for business, and the third, Arnoma, for holiday. It's a lot cheaper than Novotel Siam Square and Phatumwan Princess obviously. Good call! I chose Arnoma for the location only, and after reading some negative reviews, I tried to put my expectations down. I was, in a way, impressed, and considering the cost, nothing beats it hands down. I wouldn't trade it for other hotels of the same price and category in the Pratunam area. There's a big supermarket (Big C) with a good food court next door, literally a few steps from the main entrance. Upscale mall Central World is right across, bargain hunters favorite Platinum mall is a about 10 minutes walk. I could actually see all three buildings (Big C, Central World, and Platinum mall) from my hotel room window. The skytrain is close by as well, which we used to go visit the cool mall Terminal 21. We also used the elevated walkway from Gaysorn (also right beside Arnoma) to walk towards Siam Paragon, which also connects to MBK. But what we really love about the room is the fact that everytime we come in after a whole day of shopping or touring the temples in the hot and humid Bangkok weather, we come home to a really cold room! I don't know how this is so, since we don't leave our keys to activate the power in the room, and since we can also adjust the room temperature, its a welcome surprise to just come into a really cold room after a day out in hot Thailand.

my stay at the arnoma hotel”

the arnoma hotel, bangkok is my favourite hotel. i visit bangkok at least 3 times a year and for the past 7 years, my priority for hotel would be the arnoma. although room rates had been increasing, i would still recommend this hotel to anyone who wish to visit bangkok. this hotel tho not a very new one, it is comfortable and convenient. it is not far away from the high end shopping malls like the paragon siam and within walking distance to the platinium mall and the pratunum market. and one more thing that i really like, is their breakfast, especially their crispy bacon, yum!

Centrally located in Bangkok famous shopping area”

Arnoma Grand Hotel is centrally located around Bangkok most famous shopping area. Central world, Platinum Mall, The Market place, Siam Paragon, Siam Center are all within walking distance. Big C is just next block to the hotel. Will definitely stay with this hotel again during my next visit to Bangkok

Very good location for shopping and BTS!! ”

My family enjoyed our stay at the Arnoma Grand hotel during our enroute vacation from Hua Hin to Bangkok, and it's a great property if you'd like to go shopping and eating in Bangkok. Very convenient to BTS sky-train and plenty of shopping around the hotel. On our last day after we've checked out from our room, my son had only discovered that he had left his Iphone earpiece in the hotel room when we're due to leave for the airport. A chance check from a senior concierge gentleman left us speechless, as he had assisted to check with the housekeeping department, and returned my son's Iphone ear-piece in good order well wrapped in a small plastic bag. This is really a WOW surprise to us and am very happy with this hotel's excellent honesty and great service! Will certainly come back to stay at this property again!

Excellent hotel for the price”

I used to regularly stay at the Arnoma many years ago because it was the best value hotel in Bangkok at that time. Returning after a 7 year absence it still offers the same great value for money. And as Bangkok continues to grow around it the Arnoma has retained its quality. The staff are still friendly and polite and give a tremendous service that is often missing from expensive hotels. I've been traveling to Bangkok for over 30 years and still favor the Arnoma for location, (right next door to a huge Big C, close to the Chidlom sky train and just across the road from Central World.)The rooms are a little worn but not rundown and I had no problem changing my room when the noise from an adjacent promotion was interfering with my Skype calls.

Not Bad”

the hotel has a great location,inside the city of bangkok.it was close to anumber of retailers.big c being right next door.which all people in thailand know stands for value and good products and prices. the places to eat in the hotel,were equal or better than others i have eaten.some of the foods were alittle pricey,but worth the added cost.i had read bad reviews of hotel,but found then not true. from the first moments of are arrival,were treated very well,as would be expected from a hotel with more than one or two stars. another thing that i liked very much,was the hotels bakery which had avery nice sitting area,in front of the hotel.its products including bread and coffee,were very good.the best part was the price of the products.were low priced. my husband being an american was very pleased,with the bakery,he said it was just as good as any bakery he had be to ,in the states. my husband agress with my view of the hotel.he as stayed in alot of hotels in his travels,here and in the middle-east. i would recommend the arnoma,to anyone coming to bangkok.

Great Location and Great service!”

this is not my first time staying at arnoma and i must still commend the staff for excellent service. all staff (be it the bell boy or the counter staff) are always quick to attend to different requests and they do their best when we ask for recommendations for food places or directions to different places. room was clean, spacious and comfortable! arnoma is walkable to both platinum and siam area (10 to 15 mins). i am sure to return for my next stay in bangkok. couldn't have asked for a hotel with a better location with such great service!

Me and my husband enjoyed our trip to Bangkok immensely because your hotel is located near all the shopping malls and restaurants that we love. Our room was very comfortable and size was just right for us. We travelled with some relatives and they gave them the room across ours which made it easier for us as since we went to Bangkok primarily to attend a wedding of our niece. This is my fourth visit to Bangkok but my first time to stay in Arnoma. I will surely recommend all my friends to stay in Arnoma. I will also go back to Bangkok now because I found a hotel that suits my needs and meets my budget. Congatulations!!!!!

Lovely all-in experience at a reasonable price”

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Arnoma Hotel despite the on-going anti government protest happening nearby and the renovations at the hotel. It wasn't really noisy or disruptive. This hotel has excellent location (shopping malls surrounding the hotel) and for the price that I was paying on Agoda, it was pretty decent value (not the cheapest but decently discounted). I absolutely love the 24 hour room serviced food. Most are really delicious at affordable prices and keeps be satisfied when I have to do business-related work or go night market shopping till wee hours of the morning. The staff speak good enough English to understand them properly and are really courteous and helpful. This hotel isn't perfect though and has it's downsides. The TV in the room is still an old 20 odd inch CRT TV (those big types) so don't expect any HDMI connections if you are attempting to connect some modern device to it. Channels on the TV are quite limited too but shouldn't be a problem if you don't intend to just hide in your room all day long. Lastly, the power sockets in my room were faulty. They either couldn't provide any electricity or the socket is so loose that it can't hold the cables firmly in place. I had to unplug the table lamps and use their power sockets instead. Bring along an extension cable/adapter if you intend to use both the lamp and your devices at the same time. There is also no free Wifi and you have to pay a pretty expensive sum of money to use it. Currently, they are having a bundled promotion for their rooms where you get free wifi with their rooms for about 1950 baht a night. On the whole, I am satisfied with this hotel and will definitely return again in the future if the price remains affordable. The hotel renovations is expected to finish by June 2014 and there will be a new wing of the hotel alongside the old one.

Excellent and Underrated Hotel”

Arnoma Grand is underrated. The staffs are very friendly from the moment we check in to the time we check out. They helped us with all our needs and always greet us with a smile. Location is excellent. The hotel is located at the heart of Bangkok and near BTS. In front of the hotel is Centre World (across a bridge) and beside it is Big C (supermarket). Overall, this hotel is clean and very comfortable to live in. However, they do need to improve on the spread of their breakfast as I find it quite repetitive everyday.

This hotel has the best location possible. With Central World Mall just steps away and all other hip malls Gaysorn, Paragon Discovery, Siam Paragon etc. are all within very easy reach. We got a free upgrade to the executive floor that had very high-tech rooms. The Room as such was spacious and clean with great views of the bangkok skyline. The staff was friendly. We stayed in Bangkok for three nights at the end of our honeymoon just for shopping and Arnoma hotel proved to be a great choice. 10 out of 10 for location.

Location! Location!”

Best asset of hotel is its location! Especially if one is in BKK for shopping. It is across Central World ( a big mall) and it is beside Big C Super Center which has the Big C supermarket and several retail and resto outlets. Big C Supermarket is a hypermart open till midnight. Arnoma is walking distance to both Pratunam where the wholesale market is and Siam area ( BTS Siam station) where one will find Siam Paragon, Siam Center, Siam Discovery, MBK, etc. Closest BTS station is Chit Lom, just a 7-10 min leisurely walk. We reserved a DeLuxe room with breakfast and it turned out to be the biggest room on the floor. Thank you Arnoma for upgrading us! The room has dated look but it is spacious, clean and comfortable. Nice pillows! The bathroom is big, about 2.5x 4 meters big. I liked it that it has a dresser area with seat inside. Shower area is separate from bath tub. Buffet breakfast selection was fine, they change some of the items daily. Staff is courteous and helpful.

Very Good Service”

I arrive very early and the front office staff allow me to check in at 11am. Every morning the staff at the lobby would greet you when they saw you coming out of the left and coming back from shopping. They will also try getting a Meter taxi for you if you need to travel far distance. I will book this hotel again when I'm going to Bangkok for sure. Thank you, Arnoma Grand.

Great Hotel with Great Service”

Staying in one of the rooms of the hotel was relaxing and I was delighted with the amenities, the services provided by the entire hotel staff. I commend the guy in the front desk who greeted us with a smile and was multi-lingual, the housekeeping staff who cleaned and fixed our room, the bell man who assisted us in our luggage when we checked out, the smiling door man and the jolly chauffeur who drove us to the airport in his cool and clean vehicle. My stay with Arnoma made my stay in Bangkok a relaxing one and memorable, they gave the best worth for your money. Looking forward on my next trip to Thailand and my next stay with Arnoma together with friends and families. Keep up the quality and keep smiling. Thank you so much!

Location! ”

this is my first stay at arnoma and it certainly won't be the last. my parents have stayed in this hotel for several times now and since we were travelling with them for this holiday we decided to try arnoma out. i was impressed by the friendly and swift service at the reception, bell hops and cafeteria staff, thumbs up! location-wise, it has to be said that arnoma is one of the best; being next to big c, opposite central world plaza, 7-10 min walk to both paragon and platinum, 5 min walk to nearest bts. you can actually walk via gaysorn plaza and then the sheltered walkway all the way to mbk (15-20min). rooms were clean and comfy (though i must add that there was cigarette smell in corridors to the room on our level despite it being a non-smoking floor). room service came prompt and smiling all the time. cleaning ladies efficient and honest (we left our ipod touch on the table and it was still there when we returned).

Excellent Location ”

I have always stayed at Arnoma Grand during my Bangkok Trip. This is my 4th time staying at the hotel. Location is excellent and staff at friendly and helpful. The hotel is old but consider clean and equipped with all facilities except the wifi is lag. We have to login every time. Hope the hotel can improve on the wifi. Otherwise, all are good and excellent. Highly recommended.

Quiet hotel with honest and corteous staff”

Very easy to locate. But what impressed me more was their honest staff. Left my ipod in the gym one morning and just remembered about it later that night. The next morning i went back to the gym and the attendant was not the same person yesterday. But when i asked about my ipod, he opened a logbook and read an entry of an ipod found that morning. I went to the front desk and my ipod was there. My gratitude to the sraff was immense and this really impressed me more than the location of the hotel. Definitely, when i come back it will be arnoma hotel again. But i would siggest to make it a wifi hotel and add another treadmill in the gym (although my husband and i were the only guests using it most of the time every morning)....to arnoma again thanks for our wonderful experience in our first trip to bangkok...definitely we shall return!!!

we stayed in bangkok for 3 nights and a friend has suggested to stay at arnoma hotel. the location of the hotel is ideal, in the main city but still away from the crowded areas. walking distance to the siam malls as well as mbk. very close to bts stations and easy access to skywalk. the best part was that the airport express bus drops you right at the door step of arnoma.
