Beautiful hotel with helpful staff”

We frequently travel to Bangkok for business and always stay at Indra Regent. We had an issue, with the hotel voucher my husband was not added onto the booking. Initially, Indra Regent manager who was currently away was not able to change the booking. However, after a couple of email exchanges she fixed the issue promptly. Despite, these issues we will stay at Indra Regent again. We love the location, the staff are lovely and the breakfast is exceptional. We have stayed in other hotels in the same locality. However, Indra Regent offers the best in terms of location, room comfort etc and most importantly price. If you are after a comfortable stay, definitely book this hotel. Consider, also ordering room service we did this a few times and the food is always fantastic!

More than what we expected”

We were pleasantly surprised with the Indra Regent after reading many reviews which were predominantly negative or average. Upon arrival we were given an upgrade from a "Superior" to a very large corner room which had obviously recently been refurbished. A huge bathroom with new tiles and a glassed shower alcove. Two queen beds which were the most comfortable of our whole 16 day holiday in Thailand. The room A/C was quiet and very efficient. Two sides of the room were all windows which afforded a panoramic view of the city when the curtains were drawn back. The 4th floor restaurant was promoting a "Pad Thai Special" for the month and it was the best pad thai we had for our whole Thailand experience. The price was very reasonable too. The breakfast buffet was very good with a comprehensive selection of both thai and western foods. We ordered omelets which were freshly cooked to our liking. The hotel location was perfect for shopping but only having one full day to shop we really didnt have to move any further than the huge market and shops under the hotel itself. The Bayoike Tower (tallest building in Bangkok) was a three minute walk from the Indra and we had the lunch time Thai and Seafood buffet on the 77th floor (in between shopping) The Ratchaprop Airport Railway Station was 6 minutes walk from the hotel. The Station has lifts and escalators if you choose to use the train to the airport so luggage is easy to handle. The staff from the Duty Manger down to the cleaning staff were all excellent and very willing to please. Two nights was not enough to fully enjoy the Indra and its facilities. We will definitely stay here again. John

Great place to stay in pratunam!”

Indra regent is well known with most taxi drivers and its location makes it easy to find if u are ever in pratunam area. It is 3 mins away from the BTS station and 5 mins away from platinum mall. Pratunam market is at the doorstep of Indra regent. Taxi fares from the airport would be approximately 250bath, 15-25mins ride depending on the traffic. They have a tourist travel guide located at the lobby. The staff were friendly and advised on the best ways to travel around Bangkok. Room services were prompt and friendly. The breakfast was average and the TV channels were limited but we werent in the room long enough to watch any good shows on tv anyway. Lots of eating places nearby especially Halal and Indian Muslim food stalls. Macdonalds is also located at the lobby! Overall we were happy with our stay at Indra Regent and will definately come back to stay!

Our second home”

We have stayed at the Indra Regent Hotel for more than 10 years and now consider the hotel and most importantly the staff our 2nd home / family. The hotel has seen many changes over this time (not all of which we appreciate), however the things that keeps us coming back are the great location, spacious rooms and most importantly the incredible staff! Being greated by Mr. Nok and Mr. Prachoom and their team is the start of the warm welcome. The restaurant staff are second to none; Mong, Kitty, Winno Saman (Joe) and all the other staff do their very best to ensure your meals are enjoyable. In the evening there is no one better to get you a drink, after a long day exploring and shopping, then Mr. Johnny. He has made such a huge impression on my family that my six year old son, now refers to the hotel as the Mr. Johnny Hotel and as we say our fond farewells at the end of our stays, is always asking, 'when are we coming back to Johnny's hotel?'. The hotel is not the most modern or luxurious, but if you look past that you really will not be dissappointed. It often said in business that the staff are the most valuable asset and if that is the case, the Indra Regent Hotel is full of gold!

Indra Regent - Pratunam, Bangkok”

Early this month my wife and I stayed at the Indra Regent, varying from our usual hotel accommodation in Bangkok. Check-in service was particularly helpful and welcoming. Porters and bell-boys were obliging and courteous. The room,an upgrade from `standard`, was well-appointed, but permeated by an extremely strong odour of cigarette smoke. Even the bed-clothes were ingrained with the smell. I`d thought we`d booked a non-smoking room, but perhaps not. However, the room was clean and well-serviced each day. The American breakfast, though not over wide in choice, was quite adequate, and the semi-outdoor setting, attractive. The big advantage of this hotel is its proximity to excellent shopping and markets. During rain showers, the market under the hotel is a convenient diversion, though I wouldn`t recommend the food hall. The one at Platinum on Petchburi is far better. When we return to Bangkok next year we`ll consider The Indra Regent again, but will also explore other options in the Pratunam area.

Great people”

We just love this place and we stay here every year for a couple of weeks. It is centrally located in Pratunam for easy access to the markets, food, etc. People will say the breakfast is the same every day, and it is for the most part, but it is adequate for the price. You can vary your food to your tastes and for the price is an extreme value at Indra. This year we stayed on two different occasions, and it's nice when the staff recognizes you from year to year. The staff has great service and a smile for everyone. I would point out a few people who gave us exceptional service. Mr. Boon in concierge; The folks at breakfast Kitty, Mort and Tum at the egg station. Mort seemed to be all over the place so not sure what his function is as he was at the pool in the afternoon, too. And certainly last and not least is Natcha the cleaning woman on our floor was exceptional. Overall another great year staying at Indra Regent Hotel.

Great Hotel to stay”

Indra Regent is a great hotel to stay at it has recently been renovated and is excellent. The staff is very friendly and helpful, The managers Mr. Bob and Mr Chee (Vichai) are excellent and are always ready to help if you need it. Mr Mong and the staff at Breakfast are great, cannot do enough to help, and the chef that cooks the omelettes is fantastic cooks the best omelettes We stayed on the 15th Floor and our Housekeeper Ms Atchara was amazing, always ready to please and help with anything you needed. She was lovely and always friendly. I would recommend the Indra Regent Hotel, It is in a great position close to the Sky Rail which goes to the Airport only takes 1/2 hour. The best place if you love shopping, the Indra Square is 2 floors of shopping it can be entered from the hotel on each level. Across the road is lots of clothing shopping, there is also the other buildings with great shopping just around the corner. Every morning and evening there is a market in the street outside, the morning market starts about 5am finishes at 8.30am. the night market starts about 6pm goes to about 11 pm.

i found the indra regent hotel is very well located in bangkok. the lobby are is very relaxed and is well suited for meeting people and talking business proposals. the very close proximity to the markets and shopping center nearby, food court etc makes the the indra regent hotel, very attractive for every kind of traveler. the taxi drivers that work for the indra regent hotel ave very friendly and knowledgeable about bangkok, they took me anywhere i wanted and could give me good advice where to find traditional thai massage or get some nice thai food.

Still the best Hotel to stay in in Bangkok”

The stay in the Indra Regent Hotel has always been a very pleasant experience for our family. Although I would always recommend stating you preference of smoking or non smoking rooms, we cant complain about the value for money and the comfort of the rooms. We have stayed in the Indra Regent several times over the past ten years and can recommend the hotel to any other family. The Gym and swimming pool makes it even more attractive for teenagers. Both my teenage daughters enjoyed staying there. If you want to be at the center of the shopping buzz in Bangkok, this is the Hotel to stay.

lovely hotel abd service with a smile”

our 4 days, 3 night stay is a very pleasant one except for the false alarm at 2:30am sunday where we lost our sleep. the place is ideally located in pratunam area where there are lots of shopping areas both inside the pratunam market and surrounding streets. in addition it's just a 5 minutes walk from the rachaprarop sky train station. although one negative experience is there are some very rude sales people in some establishment in indra square. nice booking through agoda and will strongly recommend to our members of our professional association and friends to course their booking through agoda and indra regent hotel.

Great location with tremendous accessibilities”

It was an amazing stay at Indra Regent Hotel. Great location and easy access to other parts of the city. Since it was our first time visiting, the tour available in their lobby was a great help. Cheap and it covers almost what you want to do whilst your stay in Bangkok. The international menu breakfast was great even though they didn’t change the items often. As for their room service; it was very affordable with good proportion. I would definitely recommend Indra Regent Hotel to my family and friends.

Good Value Hotel”

For anyone who wants to be in the Pratunam area, i would recommend Indra Regent Hotel over Biayoke Suit and Sky cause its just next Indra Square shoppinng mall and the lobby is at the ground floor which makes it easier when you have so many thinhs to carry from your shopping. Over and above, it just next to the main road which makes taking taxi and traveling easier in the ever heavy traffic in Bangkok. Biayoke are further in from the main road, thus making it difficult to get taxi and get out at times.

Central Location with helpful staff”

My wife and I are in our mid-fifties and had a Junior Suite for 5 nights in mid-September 2011. The many positives included a clean, comfortable room with a great bed and good air conditioning plus close proximity to markets. Breakfast selection was good although I don’t know why they choose to serve it in the Garden Terrace – open air roofed garden. Considering Bangkok’s constant heat – even at 8am – an air conditioned room would be more appropriate. Indra’s staff were all quite helpful but don’t use the hotel’s laundry, money exchange or internet – way too expensive! All of these services are available at a fraction of the hotel’s prices from a variety of outlets within a 250 metre radius of hotel. We booked all of our full day and half day tours at the Tour East desk on the mezzanine floor of the Indra – Lek (lady) was very helpful. If we ever get back to Bangkok we will certainly be staying at the Indra Regent again.

The Indra Regent Hotel was very clean, hotel staff was welcoming to any and all needs or questions. The free breakfast was great and the best breakfast out of the 4 different hotels I visited. The General Manager come up to my family and introduced himself and asked how are visit was and open to suggestions that would make the hotel an even better place to stay. I was traveling with family throughout Thailand and really enjoyed my stay at the Indra. I was at another hotel which was a horrible experience so I checked out early even though I had to pay for 2 days at that hotel. I left that hotel to go back to the Indra and couldn’t be happier. I would highly recommend this hotel to any travelers along with family and friends. The entire hotel staff from the maids, bartenders, cooking staff, front desk, bell boys, and the management team!!!!

Never fails my expectations”

Indra Regent has always been my choice when in Bangkok. The location is very suitable for those who wanted to explore Pratunam Market, Platinum, Pantip, Shibuya Mall and BigC just by walking. A short ride will get you to MBK, Siam Paragon, Siam Center, Siam Discovery. Lots of places for eating as well. The cleanliness of the rooms is what I love best. I can definitely recharge and be comfortable after a long, tiring day of shopping. Personally, I wanted to thank Ms. Pattana who is assigne in the 12/flr for always making our room spic and span. Breakfast buffet is of modest spread. Healthy and delish! For me, it is enough to fuel up my day. The staff in the breakfast resto were all nice and always smiling! I would like to compliment Mr. Mong for always making sure that guests are well attended. The lady in the door where you register, her smiles and greetings are the warmest and the man who cooks the omelette near the pool area, who has superb skills in doing his craft.

Indra Regent”

Indra regent closed for a while during the red shirt protests. apparently part of the hotel was damaged. Indra regent put us up in their garden grove apartments and it was incredible. The service and help that we received from indra regent was impecible. They helped transfer our luggage. Indra Regent staff are kind and friendly and the rooms are clean and neat. For the shopping and location it is a perfect hotel for your stay in bangkok.

We have stayed at the Indra Regent three times now, our second trip we had booked at another hotel for the same price, when we arrived we were very disappointed with the room and facilities so we checked out and booked in at the Indra, whe we go back to Bangkok we will always stay there for the friendly staff, comfortable rooms and elegant lobby spa pool ect, good breakfast too. I love Bangkok & the Indra Regent.

Great Hotel Great service”

I love to stay at the Indra Regent Hotel because it is so central to all my needs and I love the Indra Square Markets under the Hotel. I dont even have to go outside if I dont want to. The service is great, the rooms are lovely and it is very clean which is something I am very fussy about.I find the prices to also be very reasonable. I will continue to stay at the Indra when ever I am in Bangkok and I would not hesitate to send my friends there.

Indra Regent, a great choice”

We chose to spend the post Christmas season in Bangkok. The Pratunam area is just perfect for the traveller who is always on the go. With Indra Regent we were in a strategic location. Got our money's worth. The triple deluxe room was spacious and clean. The buffet breakfast was good. The staff were friendly. Ms. Tuwan who was at the reception upon our check-in was most helpful, considerate; she attended to our needs. Very convenient. For the shopper, there's Indra Square on the 1st and 2nd floors; the third floor is a food court. Other malls, markets and shopping areas are just walking distance from the hotel. Name it - transportation, tour agents, money changers, they are close by.

Taxi is in abundance in front of hotel with ready to give discount travel. also short taxi trip to MBK mall siam paragon centre. food is great and around the hotel. staff provide service with a smile.
