Best hotel in Macau”

My other half and I stayed last weekend at the Banyan Tree Macau. After running around and seeing other hotels (I'm a travel agent) I think we were staying in the best Macau has to offer. Wow, our room was massive with a long pool that ran the length of the lounge and bedroom. A therapy room with a massive spa tub and in the bathroom a great barral like japanese tub and they even provide the bath salts (filled daily) to relax in the tubs. The bed was comfy and the brekfast was great. The bathroom products are fab and they give you a great little bathroom bag. In terms of location, it's in the newer part of Macau, at the Galaxy Complex(10min from the airport, free shuttle avail). So great for visiting the Venetian and other hotels / shops / resturant at that end. The historic part of macau is over the bridge but they provide free shuttles to take you all over the islands and other hotels so easy to get around. We found most people did not speak great english but the hoel staff are all fine and very easy to understand. They are also so attentive and friendly, thanks for making our stay fab. I would recommned this hotel to anyone who can splash a little cash for a lux stay. Like I said, i am a travel agent and have had the privildge of staying at some of the best hotels in the world and Banyan Tree Macau makes my top 10 list.

Amazing and romantic stay.”

We had an amazing and romantic stay at Banyan Tree Macau. The complementary birthday cake was well prepared, the private pool was relaxing, and the complementary shuttle service was very convenient, as it goes to all the tourist areas in Macau. We also didn't know that complementary internet was provided, so we were very happy that we get to stay in touch with our family. About the only 2 minor complaints I can make are: 1. The shuttles are far if you cannot go across the Casino because you have the luggage with you. You'll actually need to walk all the way around the Casino within the Galaxy hotels to reach the shuttles. 2. Our room had poor view out of the window, it was mostly constructions. We believe the room looking towards the resort pool might be nicer. Aside from those minor complaints, we were very happy with our stay, and we will definitely recommend anyone to stay at Banyan Tree Macau as well.

Our stay was relaxing and fun”

My husband and I stayed 5 days at The Banyan Tree Macau. The beauty of the Diamond Lobby impressed us firstly then the efficient check-in process. Our room with the relaxation pool, huge comfortable bed, double shower, round timber bath and lounge area surpassed our expectations. Cleanliness was beyond reproach. The buffet breakfast was first class and all the staff in the hotel were friendly and helpful, cannot praise them enough. The ground floor of the hotel complex is filled with shops, cafes and restaurants, as well as the casino. The pool area caters for beach lovers, pool lovers, sun lovers and children. the huge wave pool was a great hit. Free shuttle buses are offered by the hotel to the Macau city centre, ferry terminals and to all the other hotel/casinos in the area, so getting around is a breeze. Thankyou to all at The Banyan Tree and to Mr Joseph Beck for our personally written welcome card, our stay was magical.

Perfect Hotel”

after a day before we stay in Grand Lisoba, next day we move to Banyan tree. When i get in the room, WOW, big and nice, sure good for couple and honey moon. got a in room small pool, and a big bath, everything is good and nice, but no free drink and no movie (need charge). The service and room is so great, i am sure will stay again when i get any chance to Macau again. But there is only one thing, i really dislike, i think not only me, people who did stay in Banyan Tree Macau, may got the same thing in mind, that is there check in is so late. before i check in, i surf the net and already know, cant got the room on time (3:00PM). but still i check in there around 1:30 pm, just put down the luggage, then i back there around 4:00 PM, room still not available, what??, but i am just one of the mad guest in front of the check in counter, finally we got our room around 4:45 PM, i think the rest of guest just got the room around that time too. so dont plan ur schedule can got the room on time. all in all, i will stay Banyan Tree again

Best hotel stay ever ”

We came here for birthday celebration, the hotel prepared a cake and also a hand written birthday card, which is very heart warming. The room is really big, very tidy and comfy, I really enjoy the stay. When we check in, the front desk asked us to choose the aroma we like and the house keeper will prepare that for us inside the room. It’s the first time for me to stay in banyan tree chain, I like the fragrance the hotel use in the public area very much, relax and not too irritating comparing with the nearby hotels. The live music(I guess it’s Thai music?) in the hotel lobby is great too. While for the room, We joke that u may fall into sleep in everywhere of the room, cause the bed the benches, the pool and even the wooden bath tub are so comfortable. You just don’t want to leave the room after u check in. There’s a coffee machine in the room, but it may take you sometime to read the instruction before using. The shampoo and conditioner is the best among all hotel I stayed, especially great after going to the pool. Much appreciated for the hotels’ care to the environment, including the use of big bottle shampoo and soap instead of single use ones, and the little turtle donation. The grand resort deck isn’t as fun as I though. However, the pool that belongs to banyan tree is really out of my expectation, it’s big and clean and not crowded, great for sun bath and swimming. Overall, I would definitely recommend banyan tree to my friends. Thank you banyan tree again for bringing us such a memorable experience.

Must stay location! Fantastic experience”

Myself and my partner stayed at banyan tree for two nights in June. Located in the Galaxy resort the Banyan tree offers amazing views, large rooms and great service. We found the Banyan tree to be very relaxing and much quieter than the rest of the resort so it was great when you wanted to get away from the casinos and relax in your room. We had a small pool located within our room which was amazing. All of the staff we met were very lovely and happy to help with anything you needed. There is a great shuttle bus from the ferry terminal to the hotel as well. This hotel is great for couples or families and has a lovely pool area (with wave pool) and beautiful gardens. The hotel shuttle bus to old Tapia village is great and there are many nice restaurants with local Portugeuse cuisine. Definately the best place to stay while on holiday in Macau.

It's our second time visiting Banyan Tree Macau. Usually, we would like to try different hotels when travelling, but Banyan Tree Macau is one of our favourite hotels that we can't resist revisiting. We just love the space of the room and the warm watered swimming pool inside the room. It's a perfect pool for our 4 months baby to have her very first attempt in swimming. The purpose of this trip was again to celebrate my husband's birthday. Like last year, the hotel kindly offered a complimentary chocolate cake, which is very tasty. Every one of the hotel staffs were professional and very attentive.

Luxury 5-star hotel with Great Hospitality”

I'm surprised by the previous two comments regarding the quality of this hotel because to me, Banyan Tree Macau totally lived up to its reputation and exceeded my expectations. In short, the staff was friendly & professional. The suite itself was excellent though I must say the pool's water temperature was a bit cold, but other than that everything else was perfect. Stayed there for two nights and on the 2nd day I went back to the room around 5pm thinking they have completed room service (cleaning) but they came knocking on the door twice to place the clean towels and tidy up other small bits - which wasn't really a concern. My only issue is the water tap running on the pool taking ages to fill up and the noise can be a bit irritating. It stopped once the pool is filled up and it starts up again around 12:30pm for circulation and you cannot turn this off because it's all automated. Other than that, I had a lovely time and wish I can stay longer next time. Will probably try their spa next time though it looks over-priced.

i highly suggest banyan tree macau is the best hotel so far in macau!!! 3days 2nights we stay different hotels.. the memory and service is totally different! banyan tree has the best of everything.. cleaning, service, atmosphere, environment, hotel features, great location ...etc.. even the hotel smell ! nice and clean... ! i don't know what else i could say, but next time time when i come back to macau i will defiantly come back to banyan tree, i would also suggest my fds come to banyan tree to experience it!

Great hotel for a getaway for couples”

we've heard many good comments on banyan tree macau and came for a getaway weekend. we love the spaciousness of the room - the pool inside was beyond anything you could have expected from a hotel room. in fact, everything in the room is huge. the bed is so large that two people could have slept on it without touching the other all night. the shower room is built for 2 people showering at the same time - 2 separate sets of shower heads and rain showers, and so spacious that you won't be elbowing each other as you scrub. we had 2 small problems in the room during our stay. the first is about the pool. i noted from the previous comments from guests that we might want to have it turned off during the night so that it wouldn't be circulating water (which can be somewhat noisy when you are resting). when we called frontdesk to have that arranged, we were told that a staff had to come up to the room to turn it off, and we couldn't do it ourselves. i would say this is not the most convenient or smart. the second thing is the light switches. it can be a bit of work just to get the lighting right - the spotlights above the bed certainly should be turned off when you are about to rest but there doesn't seem to be any independent light switch just for them. we were trying so hard to adjust the lighting that at some point the fuse jumped. had to wait for the engineer to come by and get it fixed. oh well.

Great room and spa services”

my husband and i stayed at banyan tree for 2 nights to celebrate our first year wedding anniversary. we stayed in the cotai king suite. the room was very spacious and it has a relaxation pool in the room. the weather was really bad during our stay so we didn't get to check out the outdoor pool. therefore having a relaxation pool in the room helped! we appreciate that during check in, they told us to give them a call to switch off the relaxation pool before we go to bed. reason being that every hour or so the relaxation pool will start running water and can interrupt your sleep. the only thing my husband didn't like about the room is the bathroom where the walkway between the bathtub and the sink was quite narrow. he kept bumping into the bathtub. other than that we love the room. i have always heard that banyan tree has good spa treatment so i tried it out. i was impressed by the treatment room, very spacious and nicely decorated. the treatment i had was great too.

Lovely Hotel and Kind people”

I stayed in banyan tree for 2 days. It was very pleasant trip Best part is food. Breakfast buffet was very good. It was the best breakfast buffet i've ever had. And It's swimming pool was great. Big Wave pool, kid pool, they got everything. I stayed in cotai suite. the room was really good. Jacuzzi and small pool was good, and got great view. Room service was satisfied very much. Maybe they got good chef One small problem is Casino. If you want to play, I recommend go to Venesian Casino. When you stayed in banyan tree, galaxy casino is directly connected to the hotel. but it's small. Venesian is located just nearby (only cross 1 street) and they got free shuttle bus. The most Great part of this hotel is very cheap. it's only 350 dollar(HK) for this great service.

25th Anniversary ”

We book Banyan Tree Pool Suite King Room because it is the biggest hotel room in Macau and got upgraded to their signature pool suite. The hotel also provide complimentary cake and wine for our 25th Anniversary which is much appreciated because the other hotel we stay at did nothing for us. The receptionist at the front counter is also very helpful, especially Rebecca and Katrina. The concierge is also very helpful to us, I mention to my wife that I have lost my reading glasses and he immediately offer to call the ferry company and check if they have found my reading glasses. He also provide a lots of venues for our dinning and place of interest... very knowledgeable and helpful ! Too bad, the weather is slight too cool for a swim, otherwise their swimming pool and man made pool would definitely made our stay 110% satisfactory. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone going to Macau.

Resort style hotel with great rooms”

Relatively new resort style hotel. We spent 4 nights in HK before going to Macau. Spent 2 nights at Banyan Tree Macau and had a relaxing time there. The rooms were larger then those in HK and my kids enjoyed having the spa pool in the room. There are too many light switches in the room and took a while to learn how to operate them. All the staff were friendly. I needed to print 2 documents after the business centre was closed but the front desk staff did it for me for free! Concierge was very friendly and helped us with arranging a 6 seater MPV for a 4 hour tour of Macau, since it was our first visit. We didn't get a chance to swim in the wave pool on the 2nd floor as it was quite cold at that time but I can imagine this being a great attraction in the summer. There is also an indoor heated pool on the top floor which is next to a very good gym. The spa was excellent and is highly recommended.

Best spa and hotel in Macau”

We are definitely coming back to stay at the Banyan Tree Macau. The hotel rooms are uber luxurious. The "lap pool" in the lounge room is truly amazing. Perfect for sipping wine/beer in. The japanese hot tub, shower and even the toilet is something worth writing home about. We had the best spa experience as well. We booked the spa a couple of weeks in advance to make sure we could secure a spot for the 4 of us. The spa bed was very comfortable and is heated! Very relaxing. We all had massages and facials and we agreed it was the most professional and wonderful spa experience for us all. The only negative thing to mention is that we had to wait 1.5hrs for the room to become available (we had to wait until 3.30pm).

Amazing hotel”

i always want to stay at banyan tree macau, but the price are always too high or cant get any free room. this holiday i found a good price and have room finally. the first impression is the staff very gental, they help a lot on introduce the hotel. the room is amazing, with a swiming pool inside the room. the wooden bath tube is great. the toilet is wonderful. i would like to say : pls choose banyan tree.

Amazing facilities and atmosphere”

this is my fifth time to banyan tree hotel. i am so amazed with the service. their staff will come to the room at around 5 to clean up the room again. a very sweet act that they out a empty cup with a bottle of water near the bed. also the mini bar is wonderful. there are different kind of coffee provided for us on the house. the room is very big and comfortable. i also ordered room service. the quality is good and fast delivery to us. we will definitely come back again next month. if you want to spend a romantic moment with your other half, i strongly recommend banyan tree hotel macau.

had been to banyan tree macau twice, first time being at cotai strip room and this time at sky villa with few of my girlfriends. the welcome drinks and card from general manager is a surprise for me. room service act efficiently upon request and the follow up call from concierge is well managed. premier service, we had spent whole day staying at the room !

Ideal for romantic or family”

It was a weekend getaway for my girlfriend's birthday. The Banyan Tree Macau is one of the best hotels in Macau rated by basic facilities. Ours was a standard room in the hotel, which has a room and a lounge and includes an in-room pool. Their staff were very attentive during our check-in and check-out, letting us check out late, and also showed us the way to some of the city's attractions, and let us store our luggage at the hotel whilst we tour the city.

banyan tree is the most beautiful hotel in macau now. big hotel room with a good scenic, small swimming pool with warm or cool water where you can swim or take a spa. a big and comfortable bed. the most convinient is that they have a big dinning area which provides different kind of food with a variety of price. therefore, you can pay expensive or cheap price. the traffic is also good where you can take the free shuttle bus to almost everywhere in macau.
