Getting There”

Caesar Metro Hotel had only just opened over 2 months ago, and it is shaping up to be a good hotel. It is located directly above the Wanhua train station (not MRT station which is just 5 minutes walk away). So it is really convenient if you are coming in from the Airport & transferring at Taipei main station for the local train here. I was told it has over 300 rooms but the service here are attentive and very helpful. The rooms here are pretty spacious by Far East standard. However we are lucky enough to receive an upgrade to a junior suite, so am not sure the standard room sizes. The view out is fantastic as it is more or less the tallest building in the immediate area, so you have unobstructed view over the city. The only criticism we had was that the swimming pool and fitness centre were both unfinished still, so we are not able to enjoy the open air pool. But the restaurant & buffet dining are operational & offer good choice of easternised western cuisine. So hopefully this will developed into a high end hotel catering mainly for the business & local tourism use.

We stayed in the deluxe room with king bed. The hotel is located directly above Wanhua railway station. It is a short walk (~300m) to Longshan metro station which connects you to the rest of the city. It’s a stop away from Ximen which is extremely convenient. Many food options located nearby Longshan temple (especially local cuisines). Hotel is extremely new with its Swimming pool, gym and laundromat still not completed. Modern design, comfy beds, great views, awesome shower, automated toilet bowl are some of the fantastic characters to mention. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. They do their best to accommodate their guest with requests of all sorts. If you like a convenient spot without the buzz of the city all day, extremely clean bathroom, comfy beds and great service, Caesar Metro Taipei is the place for you.

Reccomended hotel at Taipei”

We said, Caesar Metro Taipei is one of the best hotel at Taipei, since their clean room and its facilities are 5 stars, but the price is similar to 3-4 stars hotel, due this hotel location was not in popular tourist area. But hotel location just around 300 meter from Longshan MRT station, and by MRT we could go to all destinations at Taipei. For mini bar, this hotel provide mineral water and 2 can Coke every day, also their tea and coffee bag are good quality. We will stay again at this Caesar Metro hotel when visiting again Taipei.

Good hotel”

Caesar Metro Taipei is a good hotel. The rooms are very modern, though a bit narrow. We had the Superior Double. The room has great fixtures, a nice shower, bathrobes, and other good amenities. It was one of the most quiet hotel rooms in which I've stayed. The pool recently opened and though nice, it had the coldest water of any pool I've been in. And there are very few places to sit. The gym is still not open - which I'm quite sure why - how difficult is it to set up a gym? The restaurant is OK, but after six days at the hotel, it would be nice if they served different items. It gets boring eating the same food every day. Also, if you go to the restaurant after 9 AM (breakfast is until 10), many of them items are out, or cold. This hotel has a lot of tour buses, so the majority of the guests eat very early, and apparently get all the hot food. The staff is exceptionally nice, and housekeeping does a really good job cleaning the rooms. Overall, I recommend this hotel.

We had a great stay (Family Room)”

Room is clean, we had complimentary coffee, sodas and water everyday. We have not tried their food because it’s pricey. All the hotel staffs can communicate in english. The location is okay for me but if i were to travel to taiwan again, i’d rather stay in Taipei Main Station. If you have kids like us who will not be able to eat taiwanese cuisines, i suggest you stay in Taipei Main Station. Nonetheless, Caesar Metro Taipei has great sevice, great staffs and a nice room.

For the experience”

I stayed in the Junior Suite. I previously stayed in the Deluxe with King bed and it was amazing. This time I tried the Junior suite and it was good too. In comparison of the room size, both the rooms mentioned are similar however the Junior Suite felt smaller because it has more partitions to divide the space. Junior suite has a separate siting space or living room with TV, another TV in front of the bed, a glass window by the bathtub which was simply amazing, extra vanity area and bathrobes. The bed was queen size and felt not as spacious as the deluxe. Nonetheless, it was just for the experience. It has been a wonderful stay at Caesar Metro Taipei. Thank you

New hotel + strategic location and fantastic staff!”

This was my first trip to Taipei and was wowed by the locals by their natural friendliness and warm hospitality. I chose this hotel thru a recommendation from a friend who wanted to ensure I stay in a hotel that is easily accessible. Prior to selecting this hotel, I shortlisted a few as well, but Caesar Metro eventually won me over with their attractive room rate and location. Despite not able to have a birds eye view of the vicinity, my room category was considered relatively good compared to others where a basic room typically has no window view which is strange. Upon checkin, we were greeted by extremely polite employees, check in was a breeze. Concierge was super helpful and knowlegable and helped us to coordinate day tour contact, which the driver was another GEM in this trip! Breakfast was ok, not bad for a fussy eater like myself. Room was extremely comfortable and set in a cool temperature. Also, extremely comforting to see the hotel was well-prepared in view of the virus.

been to TW for over 10 times, in which over 5 times stay in taipei. Caesar Metro Taipei is definitely the best compare to similar budget in the area. Convenient transportation (close to train, metro and taxi at the hotel entrance). nice and helpful staffs , advance facilities, delicious foods and of course spacious and clean room. Recommended.

staff was friendly and helpful, wanted a late check out and was granted an extra hour on check in, very grateful, location was just right on top of the wanhua railway station making travelling to taipei main station easier and an additional option then the blue line metro of longshan temple, room was clean to the max everyday without fail by very good ladies, room was on 26th.. everything is always spick and span when back to hotel, shower was great, hot water was sensitive to measure, tub is great to for small size couple.. enjoyed every bit of the amenities in room, free drinks and can drinks top up everyday if u finished, robes and slippers, welcome fruit was given as i booked 5nights.. appreciate. room was ready even before i check-in, check in was done in less then 5mins, hassle free as they have already prepared the room in advance with welcome note! small little hiccup was lift was packed on one day when there was a students tour checking out and the breakfast restaurant too

location is superb, directly above wanhua railway station and 3 minutes away from long shan temple metro. staffs are courteous and helpful. was offered a 8th storey room but we found that the view was blocked by low wall for that floor. the staffs reserve a high level room for us with full understanding. room is spacious and clean, the housekeeping did such a good job that they even coil your phone charger nicely and also do housekeeping for us when we forgot to press the housekeeping request button. impressive with everything the hotel provide, will definitely keep it as first choice hotel in Taipei!

Fantastic choice in perfect location! ”

Wanhua seems to be the perfect district to stay in for visiting Taipei, you get to be where the locals are but also very easy to get to downtown. With Lungshan Temple just a few minutes walking from the hotel, there is much to see/do/eat in the area. The convenience of the train station right at the hotel was also perfect. The hotel itself is really lovely, super comfortable and the rooms are so nice. Amazing showers after a long, tiring day touring the city. King at the concierge is the best person to ask for advice on anything! He was amazing and just so pleasant to talk to each time we saw him. We really appreciated how hospitable he was to us. Would stay here again for sure!

New hotel at good location”

The hotel is new and conveniently located directly above Wanhua train station (one stop from Main Taipei Station). The metro subway (Long Shan Shi Station) is only 3 min by foot. You can travel to practically everywhere accessible by train or metro. Checking in and checking out is a breeze. We have requested for high floor during our booking and was assigned the junior suite on the 28th floor, with a full view of the city. Breakfast spread is good, includes local selection, Japanese and Continental. I personally love the Dan Dan Mien (especially the flat noodle) and will have a bowl every morning without fail. Nice coffee as well (espresso, cuppachinno, latte, etc) to go along with the spread of bread selection. The facilities on the 8th floor (gym, swimming pool) are still not ready, 6 months after the soft opening. They should speed up the process as during summer time, there will be demand for the facilities.

Fantastic location of this clean hotel with excellent staff”

We are a family of four and visited Taipei for 5 days. We stayed at Caesar Metro since it was closer to Subway station and not to far from the city center. The staff is very hospitable and friendly. The rooms although a little small which is typical in this part of the world, are very clean and well kept with all the required amenities. I'd highly recommend this place and will choose it again if I travel to Taipei

AWESOME LOCATION ”

Directly at wanhua train station which is 1 stop away form Taipei main station. Alternatively, can walk to longshan temple mtr train station which is like their metro line which is only 5mins walk away. Awesome local breakfast ard the area. Wouldn't recommend the hotel breakfast though, not as good as expected. Rooms are fantastic, clean and alot of room space. 9/10 for this stay, given a choice would come back especially good for family or big group travellers

Nice place to stay”

I enjoyed my two day stay at Caesar - so close to everything and the staff were so accommodating. It is a shame the same can not be said of Agoda. Apparently I encountered a system error which they will not explain to me so I have been charged twice the amount for accom, leaving me short of money for the remainder of my holiday. Poor customer service - no one will contact me or address my emails. This is no reflection upon Caesar Metro Taipei

Clean and spacious room, good services, tasty food”

We’ve stayed in the family suite of Caesar Metro Taipei hotel for 4 nights. The room is clean and spacious which is good enough for a family of 4. Staff are helpful. There are 2 restaurants inside the hotel - one serves western food and one Chinese cuisine - both are great!

Nice”

It was nice experience for me during 15-Dec to 25-Dec in Caesar Metro Taipei. Customer service was so good, room was clean, view on the room was perfect. However, the smell on the toilet was not that good... Except that, generally the hotel is very recommendable.

4 nights in Taipei”

We spent 4 nights at the Caesar Metro Hotel. It's conveniently located next to the train and subway stations, plus the bus to Jiufen stops right across the street. Longshan temple is only a couple of blocks away, and one of the best night markets is quite near the temple. The hotel is very modern and classy with a huge lobby, gym, pool, fancy restaurant and piano lounge bar, but it's reasonably priced. We were on the 30th floor with a great view. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I definitely recommend this hotel. We will stay here again next time.

Enjoyable stay”

We are very happy the hotel location is so easy acessable by Train (TRA - Wanhua station) or Metro (Blue line - Longshan station) which make travelling to/fro to our destinations a breeze. And the location is away from the bustling hub which make it less congested and easier to hop on/off the metro. The hotel is pretty new, only about 1 year plus, so the facilities are all still new and clean. The staff are very polite & speak English. The hotel also provide free soft drinks & tidbits in the minibar., together with coffee/tea making facilities. The shower & toilet are separated into 2 different compartment. So when one person is having shower, the other person can still use the toilet, that’s a plus point. The hotel is within walking distance to the Famous Longshan temple & night market. So after morning visits to tourist attractions, can still walk around the night market after offload the loots in the hotel. Overall, we have enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

Comfortable but average breakfast ”

The hotel is about a 10 min walk from longshansi metro station but just right by the Wanhua train station. However, bear in mind that local trains (區間車) are not as frequent as metros and tend to experience delays often. Nevertheless, the train line can be utilized to get to Taipei main station quickly. Newly-renovated, the rooms were very comfortable and the staff was enthusiastic. Unfortunately the buffet breakfast - while having quite a spread - was not very tasty.
