Simple, yet very comfortable ”
The room is basic with just a single bed, good size table and got my own bathroom, but truly nothing to complain about. The room (and the whole property) is immaculately clean, aircon for heating is working fine. The set of rules is practical for someone like me. Main door is closed from 12am to 6am - well I don't plan to stay out alone that late or wake up that early. Room's temperature at max 21 deg, was completely okay given the size of the room. I absolutely love the location. It's not close to the main tourist attractions, which I like. It's located in a charming neighbourhood close to where locals actually stay. Love it, would definitely not mind coming back here with my partner or a friend.
One of the best places I have stayed at in 15 years of traveling”
I have stayed in several hundred different places all around the world, and this is one of the absolute best. I booked fairly last minute and it's on historic Venice island near the train station, but the cost was reasonable. The staff are amazing, always attentive and friendly, they serve a delicious breakfast every morning, and the room was clean and comfortable. It's right next to a canal, and about 45 minutes on foot from St Mark's Square through a very interesting series of alleys, bridges and courtyards. I hope to come back here some day.
I would stay here again ”
Very clean hotel. Not far from the train station and supermarket. There is an elevator in the hotel. Breakfast included. Tea/coffee facilities available, there is a fridge and a microwave in the communal kitchen. The single bed is a bit small to sleep comfortably for more than 2 nights, but the bathroom is roomy. The power point was next to the bed. The airconditioner worked well. There was no iron available to iron the clothes. In general, this hotel is good. Located on a quiet street. I emailed the hotel regarding my arrival time and they responded in timely manner. I appreciated good communication.
Casa Caburlotto Review ”
The hotel is in a very central area on Venice Island. Everything on the island is very expensive and old which is taken into consideration when providing this review. The apartment was very small, the bathroom was tiny, the bedding was very old. We stayed for two nights and they would not replace our towels because towels are only replaced after 3 nights. Personally I would expect hotels to refresh towels upon request. The breakfast was terrible so don't count on it, this was not an issue for us because we preferred to find nice cafe's nearby to enjoy breakfast. This is a very basic hotel which has what you need on the island, worthy of a 4 star review. If you want to stay in a nicer place for a similar price, I think you would need to look into main land venice and take public transportation into venice Island.
Thank you”
They welcomed me in such warm way and helping me for the whole time of my stay. The single room was simple but well cleaned with a nice view on the canal, breakfast was always good abundant served by sisters who were so so sweet and polite, always smiling and ready to serve. I loved how was quiet the location and even how close was for almost everything. They have a nice chapel where to pray and a small garden where you can chill a bit e read a good book. I would like say thank you to Francesca for being super nice with me and being fast responsive for each of my enquiries .
