Improved hotel”

It seems that the owners of Casaville Shinchon Residence listen to reviews because they certainly made some improvements. There is free wifi inside the rooms and available hot and cold drinking water in our floor. The room is comfortable and clean. The bathroom is small but otherwise clean. The staff were friendly and english speaking which is a big help. There are provisions for cooking should you wish to stay on budget. The twin beds are a bit narrow. Overall, it was a whole lot better than what I expected.

Convenient & Comfortable.”

The location of Casaville Shinchon Residence is good that there are food venders and restaurant all around and nearly all kinds of cosmetic shopping stores surrounding in that area.Not to mention that it is just right at shinchon subway station which is also convenient to travel to Ihwa girl's university and Hongyik university.

My regular hotel in Seoul”

The Casaville Sinchon works for us because the studio apartment like suite is comfortable for our relatively long stays. We have also left our luggage during side trips with no problems. The washing machines and dryers on the seconf floor are important as is the ability to do printing on the 15th floor. Making up the room every second day was no problem except the schedule got mixed up and we lost one room make-up. The filtered hot and cold water on every floor and the ice available on the 15th floor helped us easily avoid drinking the tap water. The Grand Mart and Hundai department stores just outside the hotel door and the pharmacy and coffee shops in the building make long stays easy to deal with. The closeness to bus and subway transportation is superb.

Great location, excellent quality rooms”

I have to say that I enjoyed my stay at the CasaVille Residence very much. There was only one bump to start with in that the first key-card I was given worked once and then not again however this was very quickly dealt with first by the cleaning staff, who were very pleasant and helpful, and second by the front desk. The rooms are spacious and very clean with full amenities available. My room was 'Deluxe' so this may be the reason for the higher standard of room than has been mentioned in previous reviewed of this Hotel. The check-in and out processes are pain-free and if you are dissatisfied with your room then they will move you free of charge and no hassle. Excellent hotel and I will be staying there again! (My rating for the food and dining is not applicable as I did not have any food while staying there, however I don't want to bring down the overall rating so I have put 5)

My comfortable and pleasant stay in Seoul”

My stay in Casaville Sinchon Residence, in fact was a fantastic one. It's location is superb, 1 min walk from exit 7 of Sinchon Line 2 subway. There are 2 convenient stores (Family Mart) and fast food outlet (Lotteria) opens 24hrs daily. Food and transportation will not be a burden/ stress, especially when I'm traveling in a country where i don't speak their language. There are 2 malls opposite the subway exit 7 - Hyundai dept store and U-plex, also some local outlets selling food and souveniors, as well as their local cafe. My plane reach Incheon international airport at 9.30pm, but immigration was packed. I manage to catch the airport limousine at 10.30pm and i reach Sinchon bus station at 10.30pm. It is still very busy in Sinchon, and the bus station only 3 mins walking from the hotel, which makes my arrival in the hotel for a comfortable rest easy. It provides almost everything in the room, as well as their high speed wifi. One of the draw back is house keeping is done twice a week, but it is not a problem for me. The night shift reception staff does not understand english very well, however the day shift staff are very good.

Get out of Sinchon subway station Gate7 walk 2 mins Casaville is on your right. 24hr fast food restaurant & mini mark is just at the doorstep. Hyundai department is nearby open 11am until 8pm. Good restaurants are all around. For ladies do not miss MCM leather goods in Seoul. Whatever you purchase more than 30000won ask for tax refund receipt & claim cash in the airport.

casaville sinchon residence is very good hotel due to it's close to subway train(mrt)and easy to find the place for eating.this area have a shopping mall and small shop selling clothes,pants etc. we can take mrt to market,uneversity and other places.it's very comfortable.

Convenience Hotel in Sincheon”

Casaville Sinchon Residence is located at Sinchon. close to Sinchon subway and only within 10 mins walk from Airport bus stop. It is very convenient. The price included breakfast is cheap. In respect of location and price. It is good choice for budget traveller. The room is fully equiped. Free internet connection in the room if bring the notebook. The speed is not fast but still acceptable. However, the toilet is small and only shower. In addition, the cleaning services is provided twice a week.

Nice hotel, convenient location”

Some of the other reviews have written that the hotel was dirty or run-down or that it felt like a love hotel. Actually, the carpeting in the common areas needs to be replaced, but the rooms are OK. The rooms do not look new, but the bathroom was in great condition (newly retiled, etc.). It compares favorably to the other hotels in the Sinchon area because those are mostly older "love hotels" that charge a slightly less price. This hotel costs more because it *is* better. I did not try the restaurant while I was there, but the internet WiFi worked fine and the staff even let me check-in an hour early. If you want an affordable stay in Sinchon that is NOT a love hotel, Casaville is a good choice. My only complaint is that power outlets in the room were a little difficult to find (but there is one under the desk).

Great location & lots of restaurant in Sinchon”

Casaville Sinchon Residence has a really great location, near the metro station (within 1 min.), easy to go to the airport bus stop, also you can take walk to Ewha Womans University Station and Hongik University Station for shopping and sightseeing. But the shower room a little bit small. Breakfast no surprise and sometimes too many people but not enough food. The front desk are nice enough. Will do book the Casaville Sinchon Residence next time.

Good location and reasonable price”

For people looking for a inexpensive place that is north of the Han River in Seoul, there are not many options except Love Motels. The Casaville is a decent, no frills place that is conveniently located within 15 minute taxi ride to most tourist areas in Seoul. The main disadvantage is that the staff only speaks rudimentary English. It is located on the subway line and the best way to have taxi drivers find it is to tell them to go to the "Hyundai Department Store in Sinchon" and then cross the street to the hotel (about a 1 minute walk).

Excellent location with warm customer service”

for the price being paid the room condition was satisfactory with all the provided facilities working well. a real plus point for the residence is its location. travelling to myeongdong, dongdaemun and other major attractions of seoul is a breeze from the sinchon station. walking to the airport limousine bus stop takes only about 5 minutes, adding on to the overall convenience. staff at the front desk speaks english well and are really helpful.

Hotel location is very convenient. 2mins. to MRT station, 5mins. to airport bus station. 5 mins. to Shinchon shopping street and many restaurants for pork and beef. Next to hotel is Lotteria, Donut, hawers for strawberry and deep-fried food. First floor of the hotel is phramacy. You can go to Ewha University and shopping street by 10 mins. walk. The Shinchon MRT station near to the hotel has escalator which is convenient to elders and even youngers after one day visit. Hotel is also near to Hyundai Department store which has bakery shop and supermarket by walk 2 mins. Overall, this hotel is very good that this is the third time I chose this hotel.

Convenient location”

it's really convenient staying at casaville sinchon residence, just take airport bus 6002, and just stop at sinchon station, the building is just 1-2 mins walk from exit 7. near the place has mcdonalds, burger king (near exit 3), and lotteria and pharmacy is located below (ground floor). however no free breakfast provided (not even a toaster is found) but no worries, as there's nearby cafe & stalls to eat.

Casaville - Is it Real?”

I was really impressed. For the cost, I expected very low quality. But actually, the rooms were very modern and nice, complete with a kitchenette (stove top, refrigerator, microwave). The location is about 50 meters away from Sinchon subway station. Sinchon is a great place to party in Seoul.

reasonable price hotel in great location”

if your intention is go to seoul for shopping, sight seeing and looking for fairly reasonably price hotel, this is the place you are look at. the hotel is situated right outside the subway station ( shinchon station exit 7 ), very convenient to take line 3 ( green city circle line ). it is also very convenient to get to myeongdong, dongdaemun, ewa women's univesity for shopping and food. i would give 5 star for the convenient for the location. if you are allergic to smoke or you are definite that you want to look for a non smoking room, please find other hotel. this hotel is a so called "service apartment" , with no options for smoking and non smoking room. we got a room with heavy cigarette smell, but it was still tolerable. room cleaning service come every alternate day, so please make your choice wisely. generally the rooms are still clean and the beds are quite comfy, not much of complaints otherwise.

Location is so convenient!”

Location is good - the hotel is just located at the "center" of the Mapo area so you can easily walk to Hongik U or Ewha Women's U in 15 minutes! With a 2 minutes walk, you can reach Sinchon subway exit 7. There are so many hawkers, restaurants and coffee shops nearby so no worry on dining around. The front desk staff is pretty helpful and they can speak English well. Twin bed room is good enough for 2 guys with 2 big luggages. The mattress bed is comfortable for me but for others it might be too soft or too bouncing. Room cleaning service is only available once in 2 days so self discipline is required. Like other residents comment before, the toilet is too small so the floor will get wet after shower. I can also find a few strand of hair on the floor on 1st day of my stay there so Casaville should keep eyes on the cleaniness but overall the accomodation there is good and I will pick it again for my next trip to Seoul.
