We booked the chantra ro...We arrived at the hotel and was welcomed very warm and took us to our room. We booked the chantra room and it was fantastic , the bathroom was grand and spacious. The views from our balcony was amaizing . The staff is very friendly and always have a smile in their face . The manager Kanoon was very nice and fulfilled all our need . She was very polite and extraordinary accommodating . Also the bell man, Keng the driver, always had a smile on his face and very kind . This hotel is very private , you feel like you are the only one there, even though they were fully booked. The facility has a feel of culture with lots nature and the grounds are with beautiful landscaping . The pool has beutiful views of the mountain . The food was very yummy and staff at the resturant very nice . We love it and will return back here again .Helpful

Amazing stay ”

I booked 2 suits at chantra khiri. One room for my wife, 2 kids and myself. The other room for my parents. We stayed for 3 nights during Christmas holidays. The room is very spacious and the quality of the equipments used inside the room are superb. Breakfast was great we didn't get bored after 3 meals. Service was very impressive all the staffs was very polite and owner of the hotel is also very friendly. Only improvement is for the service to be a little faster. The weather was really good as well since chantra khiri is located in hang Dong which is about 40 mins away from the city. So if you looking for a place for hideaway and recharge this is the place to be.

Chantra Khiri Chalet Chiang Mai is place for recharging your energy, it's peaceful, connect you to nature by their location. THE MIDDLE OF MOUNTAIN which mean you could easily to face some small insect so be prepared. Their staff are trained nicely.

Good times at Chantra Khiri”

Before, just watched But still haven't decided to rest This time, very determined Really cut friends, relax, big room, soft bed, comfortable bed, clean, beautiful, everything more beautiful than in the picture Delicious food on every menu. Three nights with Chantra Kiri, didn't go anywhere Drink wine, see the view Evening, watch the moon Drink wine under the moonlight It was a very happy vacation. I like food. I like the service. I like the place. I like everything there.

Incredible place”

We went straight from the airport to this resort and never saw the town of Chiang Mai, but we had no regrets. Amazing place to unwind. The decor is incredible, marble everywhere, antique furniture, there is no place like it. Breakfast is decadent, the food is very good. The staff are incredibly helpful and hospitable. I would say don't bother with the downstairs studio rooms as you have to be able see the view - pay more to get a nice room :)

Incredibly relaxing ”

This is a gorgeous place just outside of Chiang Mai. It’s best to have a car to get to this hotel. The view is beautiful you can easily see the stars every night. The staff is warm and caring and their two dogs are amazing. Food is good as well. If you want a quiet, relaxing get away this is the place to go.

Perfect Hotel”

Very nice and well trained staff, very unique and creative decoration with a good combination between modern and antique, excellent restaurant with fresh and clean food, panoramic mountain view. For me, here is the best hotel in Chiang Mai.

Not worth the money. What you see is not what you get.”

Hotel is about 45-minutes drive from Chiangmai. We booked a Chantra Khiri Suit for two nights in January. The photos from both Agoda and hotel website show a balcony with nice mountain view in the front and the relaxing area with green view in the back. The reality is quite opposite. The room we got has a mountain with half of that being obstructed by a roof of the restaurant building nearby. It also noisy all day from early morning till late. I think other options may be better than here.

Wonderful Views, Wonderful Restaurant”

The road and the area up to the resort are very pretty. You have to drive up a short, but steep hill to get to the hotel. It's quiet up there and you mostly hear the sounds of nature--and some relaxing music coming from the restaurant. The grounds of the hotel are very nice--with neat plants and cool antique furniture. The view from the rooms (if you get one on the second floor or the third floor) are nice and you can sit on the balcony and have a nice cup of coffee looking out over the forested mountain on the other side of the valley. The rooms are large and have a nice sitting area. Beds are really comfortable and cozy. The pool is really close to the restaurant and the views out over it are nice. Pool closes at 6:00, because it's essentially an extension of the restaurant patio. The food was AMAZING. We are vegan/veg and there was not many options for us on a meat-heavy menu, but the ones we had were very, very good. We just kept having them over and over again.

Such a nice,peaceful and unique hotel with the greaf view of the mountain.The suite room is good size,clean and well decorated with pieces of antiques. The food was wonderful as we had dinner at the hotel restaurant (which is famous for local)It was the best Mee Krached I ‘ve had in my life also nice blended water melon juice even set menu breakfast I was served a big glass of iced cappuchino.The best of all is the hotel staffs which is nice,helpful and humble with us so impressive.! Thank you for making us a wonderful stay 😍😍😍

Great experience during my stay ”

Take 40 mins to the hotel by Grab Car only cost around 400 thb, so transportation will not be your concern. Hotel is new , 8 month only, Their view is very nice plus the large and girly room. The toliet is extremely beautiful!! swimming pool is a bit small but still okay . Everything in the hotel is beautiful and selfieable . Recommend to you to have a relaxing day~ Dinner is not expensive

Exceptional”

Beautiful rooms views and overall decor. Very nice staff, excellent food at reasonable prices...not marked up as a typical resort. Highly recommend for a quite getaway. A few sites to visit in the area as well.

Hidden gem in Hang Dong”

It’s a beautiful hotel whose all corners are well detailed and decorated, showing the great intension from the owner. The view is incredibly amazing. (If possible, choose Chatra Kiri suit) Variety of breakfast is standard but it’s delicious. Try Kai- kra-ta (Thai-styled fried eeg served in traditional tiny pan). Also, surprisingly, latte coffee is really yummy. Don’t hesitate to end of your day by having dinner at hotel’s restaurant and fully enjoying cozy mountain view. Another plus of this hotel are ‘organic veggie farm’ and ‘chef table’ by the owner. In summary, it’s worth every penny and we will definitely come back.

Incredible hotel”

We had the best time here, the staff were amazing and can’t do enough for you, took us on trips out. We decided to stay an extra 2 nights as were in paradise, we got a free room upgrade with incredible views. Cannot rave about this place enough, what a find. The manager was such a lovely generous man, the food was lovely too.

This hotel resort is the best bed, best breakfast, romantic tradition Thai dinner, best quiet location away from Chiangmai, lovely staffs. Quality of 5 stars hotel! We will go back there again for sure.

Everything is Perfect ! - Staff treated us very good understanding - Room is very nice, clean and comfortable - Location is up high from the main road and can see mountain view - Recommend to stay this hotel - I'll be back again for sure :)

Great quite stay”

Very clean hotel that is beautifully designed. Built only 2 years ago. Only con is that you are isolated from town but if you have a car no problem. A great place for a very quiet relaxing stay . The coffee and wine bar across the property is very good and has beautiful views.

Great peaceful retreat surrounded by nature”

This was a great city detox place. The view from the main dining room/pool area was great. The staff were super nice. The surrounding area also has lots of little cafe's or destinations to go to, but you're gonna need a car. Would recommend this place to anyone who just wants to get away from the city and rejuvinate. Would recommend requesting a room with a balcony that looks out onto the valley though.

Nice luxurious room and private pool”

Its a little expensive for what it was in the end. The worst part was that when we arrived there was almost no one around and we had trouble finding the lobby. I guess its normal that there is someone at the gate waiting for the customers and then take them into the hotel with an electric tuk tuk. When we arrived there was no one receiving us and we had to ask some random maintenance guy who seemed confused and then some other people came who also seemed confused about what to do. Eventually someone came who actually knew what to do and all went well from there on. Overall Im happy with the experience and the room was good, although the some minor cleanliness issues (like quite dirty mirrors in the toilet)
