"On arrival we were shown to a very good room with apparently good facilities. However there has clearly been severe damp problems an paint was peeling and dropping from the walls when the curtains were touched. On enquiring about WiFi we were advised there was no reception in this room. Without a request being made by us, it was suggested that we moved rooms. The 2nd room was smaller and less well equipped but with the same areas of damp damage. It soon became apparent that there was a large party going on in the function room below us and the noise was do great the floor shook. Staff agreed that this was unacceptable and moved us yet again. Standard again not as good as the 1st room however because of a problem with a broken pipe there was not a drop of water in the bathroom and so after a day's of travelling there was now showering facility!! This was subsequently resolved later on in the evening. Food was satisfactory and staff were friendly and helpful. However having moved rooms 3 times due to the aforementioned problems and the overall look of the place, we were not at all happy or satisfied with our stay an felt that these matters could and should have been addressed when we came to pay our bill. Foreign visitors should not be accommodated where recognised noise levels such as we experienced were likely"
