"Good place to stay if budget traveling. Location good and close to all beautiful beaches but pretty far from city. Nice and quiet place to stay. Good wifi in rooms. Cafe in front really cheap to buy all your meals. Staff really nice and helpful. You can rent scooter to drive around this part of island. I would highly recommend this place for that cheap price. Only minus on my stay- i had my room in first floor and it looked like it was staff smoking area just behind my bathroom window in between two houses. Since the windows are not closed it was very upsetting to have a cigarette smell in my room all the time coming from bathroom. I asked boys kindly not to smoke there but after 1 day they were back doing same thing."

"My husband and I stayed at The Rani Hotel and Spa we booked a Deluxe Pool Assess Room upon arrival the hotel was fully book and they upgraded us to the Suite Pool access room for 3 night. How ever we had to check out after the 3rd night and as we booked through agoda.com they made or 5 day booking with the hotel as 3 night stay and a 2 night stay. The 2 night stay again the hotel was fully booked with no spare room to the value of our stay the hotel was great the got us a family pool access room at their sister hoter the Bali Rani with free transfers. I can not folt the either hotel, the Rani Hotel and Spa was more quitter stay where the Bali Rani was more family suited. Even though there was a few stresses with our booking I do not blam the hotel for it at all the staff were very polite and worked fast to sort out the issue. A big thank you to the Rani Hotel and Spa as well as the Bali Rani Hotel. We will return again"

"The hotel is really nice with a very beautiful and good pool. The food is awesome specially the breakfast that you can eat without be afraid to get a bali belly.most of staffs are awesome/ The negatives poiints were that we booked a double bad and they put us on twin beds, they didnt change so we had to stay 9 nights sleeping like that. Second problem the toilet was without roof, so it attracts flights and bugs and also make a messy when it rains. But with all the rest very positive we could handle this mistakes and we had an awesomw stay there and we would stay again next time."

"We only discovered the Patra toward the end of our 2 week holiday in Bali. After going for a walk along the beach toward the airport, we stopped at the beach bar for a drink. Jaya who served us was really friendly, and answered a lot if questions we had on the Resort. He even went to reception and brought us back an information pack to go through. We went back to where we were staying (and had already paid for) and discussed the feasibility of spending a bit more and having some luxury for the last few days. Back to the Patra and asked if it was possible to see a room. The lady who we spoke to was lovely, and soon arranged for us to be taken to see 2 different rooms. From there, the decision was easy. I booked through Agoda on the spot (cheaper than direct) from the following day for 3 nights. Best move ever! The rooms were lovely (and quiet), the grounds were beautiful, breakfast was excellent, and all of the staff were fantastic. The next trip to Bali will be straight to the Patra! "

"No Air con rooms but you don’t even feel it. Super clean and nice staff. Good mixture of European and Bali breakfast. Nice place to site around pool. Very quite, good for chill out, location next to the best beach in the area, next to top viewing point. Weaknesses - little annoying system of closing the door, only cold/medium warm water under the shower and lack of any store open late nearby. But you can buy eg beer at place at same price elsewhere, so good to stay in. Totally recommend!!"

"FIRST OF ALL!! They will arrange a free pick up from the port for you so please please grab this opportunity because I did not know this and the people at the port will always always steal from the tourists. They charged me 250,000 for a 15 minute drive and I just realized that I was charged 7 times more the regular. We had a black out in the middle of the night and I found out that this was normal for indonesia for there is always a blackout circulation around the country to save energy. But this place does not have a generator so everything is dark. The staff were polite they were nice, we took a photo with them. But if they could improve their hygiene :) You can rent a scooter for 80,000 per day. Which is very good and cheap. They will also offer to send you back to the port and they charged us 50,000 to send us back which is so great than the 250,000 :( Indonesia has a lot of money stealing cab drivers and tourist guides :( They will lie almost everything about money and prices."

"We had an amazing 1 week stay and returned after some travels in Indonesia for another week. We pre-booked an airport shuttle through the hotel and our driver was waiting for us on arrival at 1am and check in went very smoothly. We woke up to the breathtaking rice paddies & pool view from the balcony. The breakfasts were great, huge variety! The food was delicious and fresh with eggs made to order any way you would like & yummy banana pancakes. They also offer fresh juices & fresh fruit straight from their organic garden. The staff at breakfast were very friendly and attentive. Take a walk into the rice paddies and organic gardens at the back of the resort, beautiful spot! The rice paddies were so green, just incredible! The staff doing the landscaping keep the gardens looking so spectacular! The room was very clean, large, the bed & pillows so comfortable and the view from the balcony (second floor) was great! There was a bathtub and shower in the room. The water was nice and hot, but we learned that you have to let it run for a few minutes to heat up, be patient it does go hot. The wifi in the restaurant and pool area were strong. We liked being away from the busy town & traffic congestion and just amongst nature! The shuttle to and from town runs every 2 hours from 10am to 10pm which was great & friendly too, we never had any issues at all. Overall this was such a nice and relaxing stay for us! I took some great photographs of the rice paddies and locals harvesting rice, ducks being herded in the paddies and the gardens. The staff at this hotel were very professional, nice & friendly, attentive and treated us so well! Thank you to our friend in guest services with the little boy who gave us fruits to try that we had never heard of and some Bali cake. If we come back to Bali we will definitely stay here again!
