"we live in dubai but we travel to chiang mai at least once a month as our children study in boarding school in chiang mai. we stay in many many highend places in chiang mai which were really nice and pricey. after we found "lotus pang suan kaew chiang mai" and stay here, it's just right about the location, safety, service and the hotel offer all guests free pick up from chiang mai airport too! we went back ther more than 7 times already since march 2011 and we booked the rooms with "agoda.com" only because so far this website is the best price and the best promotion (free room upgrade) compared to the others. i can pay 3 rooms per night as equal price as one night only @ the hotels i stay in chiang mai before. our family from uk also love this place, it's look gorgeous when you take pictures. We have had the best Thai massage here during our 4 months traveling Thailand. Breakfast is freshly served every day and includes everything you need to get a good start of the day. Everything is very clean and well maintained. When we come back to Chiang Mai we will definitely stay here again."

"Very good, pleased with cleanliness, and excellent value for my money. I would stay again. It's far out so taxi or transport required to tour Chiang Mai, but 7-11 nearby and food options around in walking distance, so one could be satisfied with no transport if not interested in touring around. My kids enjoyed the pool a lot and our room was always clean and new water bottles awaited. Would recommend to all travellers. I am happy with our stay. Very quiet and staff were very nice. "

"Great location - located within the old city, close to many key attractions, only 6 mins walk to Tha Phae Gate, 18 mins walk to the night bazaar street, surrounded by petite eateries, yet tranquil. Amazing hotel and room - it’s new with welcoming modern design; the room is spacious, clean and super comfy, especially the bed! Good standard facilities. Great service - Free 4 bottles of water every day, the staff are very friendly, polite, attentive and helpful! Would definitely recommend this and return next time in Chiang Mai."

"This is a basic hotel great for a stopover for a few days, or if you're traveling with a vehicle. It's very close, 15 minute walking distance, to the airport, Central Mall Chiang Mai, and the Immigration office for visa extension or 90day check in (although now that portion is off site while remodeling but within an easy taxi or personal drive). If you don't have a vehicle, it's a difficult distance from the tourist venues - old city, farang restaurants, bars & clubs. Has the hot pot, water, small fridge, TV and a remodel older building into newer 'industrial' chique style. Nice communal breakfast room w/ complimentary toast, tea, coffee, microwave and TV. Easy driving distance to Doi Suthep, zoo, Inthanon, and craft villages. "

"I have paid 4,300 Thai Baht for 5-night staying at Anodard Hotel. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for those who need a clean, quiet and simple place to stay and enjoy old Chiang Mai town. The hotel is very close to the Sunday market, just 1 or 2 mins walk, also close to almost main attractions such as Wat Chedi Luang, Wat Pan Tao, Wat Phra Singh. Not only close to bars and restaurants (I recommend Ms. Rose's restaurant next to the hotel, nice, yummy and good price) but also to 7Eleven, where you can by food before 7am to fill the hungry stomach of an early riser like me. There's a vast parking in front of the hotel, so any pick up service service is easy, and those who hate to be disturbed by Tuk-Tuk drivers will give a + for this place. I had been worry about the cleanness of this hotel from previous reviews, but I must disagree with them, bed cover and room has been cleanup, towel have been replaced everyday; though I agree that the hotel need to be renovated a little."

"This hotel is amazing, being in the old city it is close to everything but it’s location on a side street (soi) makes it a very calm hotel. It was very clean and the extra 4$ (CAD) per night for the breakfast on Agoda was well worth the upgrade as it is 150TBH per person at the hotel. I recommend this hotel to everyone who wishes to have a pleasant and relaxig stay in Chiang Mai while being 5 minutes away from the Sunday Market, 7-11’s and multiple temples!"
