Da Nang hotels & places to stay

We stayed at a 3-bedroom apartment for 6 days and it was definitely THE best part of our trip. Apartment was spotlessly clean and all things were almost brand new. You can sense that they paid a lot of attention to detail. We hitted the gym and used the 2 in 1 washing dryer machine every night, even washing powder was provided. Gym room had at least one trainer standing by each day when we were there. Shuttle service is available every hour (not at lunch time) to a few popular spots in town (Love Bridge, Cham Museum, My Khe Beach, etc.) The only downside would be its location being off the town centre and surrounded by nothing (mind you, some may appreciate the peace and quiet). If you are hungry, want to grab something to eat and don't feel like calling a taxi to venture afar, you will be left with not much choice but the in-room dining service or the restuarant within the hotel. We ordered in room dinner once, very reasonably priced, but not the best taste we had in Da Nang.

I would strongly recommend my friend to stay in this hotel when they visit Da nang. For the location, although its location is quite far away from Da nang city, just in between Da nang city and Hui An, the hotel provides free shuttle bus daily, which is quite convenient. For the service, I really appreciate their staff's profession. They are polite and helpful and helped us to call the local tour agency at night as well. Moreover, the hotel provides different free courses including Yoga, kick boxing, workout etc. and free access to the swimming pool as well. For the food, the hotel has 3 restaurants providing free breakfast. All these 3 restaurants' breakfast have great quality and quantity. I will give a 5 stars on that. For the amenities, they have gym room, swimming pool and private beach, which are very convenient and comfortable.

The good: very clean hotel, friendly staff 'on this, it deserves more than 5 star...' and very good restaurants. shuttle for hoi an '30 minute ride' are available twice a day or you can go by cab, close to marble mountain, 5-10 minutes away from the city center of da nang The bad: i can't really think of anything bad that relates to this hotel specifically. The area in the vicinity is more or less empty but you don't go to da nang or vietnam for that matter for the night life. there are several restaurants further down the road but i can't recommend any of them.

We spent 4 days 3 nights there. The room - good size both indoor with a huge bed, huge bathroom and a living room area which it's not that useful for us. The outdoor pool is a decent size you can't really swim in it but it's good enough if you want a dip in the water. Everything is clean in the room and the swimming pool, I am very happy with it. The public infinity pool – perfect design which you can oversea the ocean and enjoy the view, the length is long enough if you want to enjoy your morning swim routine(we did), the pool is also very very clean. The beach – the water isn’t the best which you compare with beaches in Florida or Maldives, but it’s nice for you to play with the waves and the view is amazing. We had breakfast on the beach and the experience was unforgotten, must try but you have to be there early to take one of the sofa seats on the beach. The spa – we only managed to do 2 treatments per day because we spent two afternoon in the Da nang town and the city of Hoi An. The spa service was very good. Breakfast – delicious, both the buffet breakfast and a la carte breakfast on the beach was delicious. You will not be disappointed.fresh aloe vera juice, spring rolls are some we ordered and it’s delicious. Staff performance – everyone were very friendly and helpful on everything. The best part was the personal touch of their services, you will enjoy every minutes while you are inside the resort. Our fusionist - Guz was extremely helpful and patient with us regarding recommendation on places to go, what to do and where to eat. He made some perfect recommendations to us such as tea house in Hoi An, bicycle retreat to the An Bang beach in Hoi An, restaurant name call Nhà hàng Madame Lân in Da nang. Cost – the price for the resort is a bit pricey with I think it’s all worthy. Spending in the city of Da nang and Hoi An was cheap. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with both the resort and the destination. We can’t wait to go back again!

It was lucky to stay in hotel during Vietnam public holiday as reasonable price. The hotel treats me full-board meal included, i was not expected the situation. Also, the staffs are very helpful to introduce us about hotel facility, Da-nang festival and restaurant nearby hotel. During staying, I got exorbitant demands from reception at 12am. the staff came to our room, and press the chime bell. the staff's demand was we need to be quiet. At that moment, we just talked on the bed and playing soothing music through phone. In the morning, I realized there was not soundproof facility in the room by room. Because I could hear formal conversation next room. Except then, there was awesome experience to stay in hotel. 체크인 할때의 경험도 상당히 좋았으며 방의 크기도 다른 베트남 호텥보다 훨씬 큰 편에 속했습니다. 또한 호텔안에서의 점심, 저녁 식사도 상당히 깔끔했으며 레스토랑에서 먹는 음식을 대접받는 느낌이었습니다. 조식이 나쁘다는 평이 많은데 생각보다 나쁘지 않습니다. 다만, 소음에 예민하신분은 방을 선택하실 때 고려하셔야할 듯합니다. 방의 층고가 높다보니 옆 방의 대화가 얼핏 들릴 수가 있습니다. 그 것만 빼면 숙박 자체는 아주 좋은 경험이었습니다.

My Group 14paxs booked 6 rooms. All rooms are spacious, clean, cosy, comfortable, well-furnished with ocean view. Impressed by fast services checking in/out. Fairly new nice beachfront hotel with excellent ocean view. 40th floor provided excellent city and ocean views. Staff always helpful, delightful and proficient in English. No communication issue. Swimming pool is large with brilliant views. Breakfast has lot of selections. We thanked and extended our great appreciation to staff, Mr Le Quang Vinh, who constantly went above and beyond his duties to ensure we were satisfied, happy and made all relevant infrastructure arrangements for us. We got free upgrade to Grand Suite Room which is very spacious with ocean view. Great job to all the staff and Muong Thanh Luxury Da Nang Hotel. Overall we had a great experience and enjoyable times staying in this hotel. We truly enjoyed our stay here and we surely will come back.

Thanks to the attentive and friendly service by the team at Melia, we had a great time in Da Nang! Location - about 20 min by car from the airport/Da Nang city centre. Walkable distance to Marble Mountain. 30min by car to Hoi An, the beautiful must-visit old town of Vietnam. 1.5hrs by car to My Son, the UNESCO world heritage of the ancient Champa ruins. Room - comfortable. Generally well maintained Breakfast - good selection of local and western food plus a small selection of japanese and Korean food Pretty good value for money. Would recommend to other travellers

We really enjoyed staying here! Facilities are lovely, authentic style of bamboo decorations, forrest like shower rooms and spa, swimming pool, children's play room, bar... All you can think of. Also, we met the most helpful staff- V, to bring up an itinerary of our trip in Da Nang. We really should had met her earlier! It is the best resort/hotel experience that I ever had in my life.

All things considered, I give Grand Tourane my highest recommendation for its combination of hotel features, location, staff professionalism, and value for the money! Upon arrival we were seated in the lobby and given cold fruit drinks, which was a very good first impression. Things only got better from then on; the hotel service from the doormen, the wonderful spa staff, and the restaurant staff were top-notch! We were given 2-for-1 spa coupons which we enjoyed very much. The massage was so relaxing I had trouble staying awake.. We had a corner ocean-view suite on the 11th floor, it was magnificent seeing vast, sweeping views of the ocean and My Khe beach... The hotel is right across the street from the beach and a short stroll to numerous seafood and assorted restaurants. An inexpensive taxi or Grab ride will get you into Da Nang city with its many other delicious restaurants and bars. I would gladly return to Grand Tourane whenever I return to Da Nang.

The best hotel to relax and enjoy the beautiful nature of Da Nang. Especially, the sea in the private beach is so transparent and totally differ the from the other beachs in Da Nang. The staffs are well trained and have a lot of hospitality. Ms.Kim who speaks Japanese fluently is so friendly and can be a perfect concierge for Japanese and Korean tourists. Also,at the airport, some staffs, Ms.Anh, Ms.Nhi, and Mr.Hien kindly took care of me for departure. If you want a perfect stay in Dang, I strongly recommend this hotel.

This was our first trip to Da Nang, and we were unfamiliar with the city and where to stay. Novotel turned out to be a great choice. It was in a great location, an easy walk to many places to eat and activity at night, and to enjoy the sights along the river. The hotel was very comfortable, had a very good breakfast, and a great gym which is important to us and can be a deal breaker when looking for a hotel. The staff were all very pleasant, and always very helpful, particularly with offering ideas for touring the area and arranging day trips for us. We travel frequently in Vietnam, and will certainly choose Novotel again on our next trip to Da Nang.

We were upgraded to an ocean view room and it was one of the nicest hotels we had ever stayed at. Loved the balcony chair/sofa, with a great view of the ocean and pools. The room itself was modernly designed and very comfortable. In addition, we had access to the Club Lounge, which had fabulous food and drinks during cocktail hour. We went both nights during our stay and loved it. The breakfast buffet was also tasty, although they tend to clear away plates pretty quickly. Marble Mountain was easily accessible, although we had trouble finding a taxi on the way back. It was a nice day, though, with nice views from the mountain top. After check-out, we went to Hoi An, which wasn't too far. We actually could have stayed one more night in Da Nang and just visited Hoi An instead of staying there (since this hotel was so nice!) but Hoi An at night was lovely, too.

We had a wonderful stay at the Furama Villa. It was a very relaxing stay, just as we wanted, and the villa was outstanding. We reserved, and expected, a 2 bedroom villa but when we arrived we had been upgraded to a 3 bedroom villa! The villa had more than enough room for the four of us and we made good use of the kitchen, dining area, living room and spacious bedrooms. The location of Furama is great and gave us easy access to Hoi An and Da Nang for our day outings. However, we still found time to enjoy the private pool each day of our stay. The room service food was acceptable but not outstanding. The highlight of the stay in the villa was the staff. From the moment we checked in with a cold towel and welcome drink, the staff took excellent care of us. The buggy service was always on time when needed, the cleaning service was fast and efficient and our butler, Trunz, was always available for us. We will stay at the Furama Villas again on our next stay in Da Nang.

We were very happy with our stay here, we thought it was good value for the price. It is a little more pricey than some places in Da Nang, but you get what you pay for and we were very happy to have paid to stay here. The beach was lovely, private and not crowded at all (even with hotel guests). The hotel was very clean and the breakfast buffet also felt clean (very important for us!). You will need to get a taxi into Da Nang but it is probably less than 100,000 dong so not expensive to get around. It was our honeymoon, we would have liked a little something (eg. other places gave us some flowers or a fruit platter or little something) but nothing here, which is absolutely fine, it didnt change our experience.

We went back to the Ocean Villas after a not very satisfying stay at another hotel in Da Nang. Proved to be a wise decision. The staff at Ocean Villas recommended us to the LONG Coffee cafe, where we enjoyed Vietnamese coffee with the locals and bought the coffee there. Special thanks to Anh of Ocean Villas, a cheerful girl who went the extra to volunteer to provide interpretation for us at an agarwood shop, ON HER REST DAY!! What a pleasant surprise!

I loved loved loved the resort and wish I could have stayed longer. My partner and I were only there for one night - and not even the full night because we left for the airport at 3am. I had already been staying in Hoi An and as I saw that they have a shuttle to Hoi An, I messaged the hotel and they kindly reserved a spot on the shuttle for me so my partner and I could get from Hoi An to the resort in Da Nang easily. Check in process was easy and smooth. Our bags were taken care of and we were given a 30 minute massage coupon + pho coupon for dinner. We ended up upgrading our massages to a full body 1 hour message and it was very relaxing. There's also an onsen but I didn't get to try that since I spent hours by the pool. They have comfy cabanas along the pool and it was never too too crowded. We ordered food to enjoy by the pool as well. It was beautiful watching the night sky take over and the Ferris wheel lighting up. The room itself was lovely and clean. AC worked amazing. They also had welcome fruit for us in the room :). Dinner is in the restaurant. The pho coupon allows you to have bottomless pho :) delicious! The staff were also very friendly and gentle. They always had a big smile on their face and made our experience at the resort a very pleasant one. :)

We were sceptical when booking here as we had been let down with resorts in Vietnam in the past. Angasana was the complete opposite of a let down, from the moment we checked in we were well taken care of, the grounds around the hotel are absolutely amazing, super large pool, the beach is empty and very nice for a swim. The food could do with some improvements are the beach front restaurant so we ate mostly at the Banyan Tree next door. The restaurant that serves sushi at Angasana was great, the girl working there tried very hard to accommodate us and was a stand out member of the staff at this hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and ended up extending our stay here. Would definitely recommend to anyone, we spent a week in Da Nang first but wish we came straight to Angasana instead!

Nice resort hotel with a 24 hours infinity pool. There is a private beach too. Staff is great and very professional. The room was big and very clean. The spa doesn't have that many option and the quality of the massage is not that good. You can get a better massage for way cheaper in the center city of Da Nang. There are 3 restaurants (all quite expensive). Breakfast buffet is very good and with many choices!

This hotel is very new. About one month. That is why they do not have as many reviews. I took a chance and booked one night to see if I would like it and ended up staying a total of 3 nights. Everything here is so new and clean. The staff is very accommodating and was able to get me an ocean view room and very early check in. The staff is very professional and they really try to make sure you have an amazing stay. The pool is great and they have towels for you. Side note, do not try to take them from the pool because they are for the pool only. You will need to bring your own towels for the beach but the beach is literally across the street. They do however, give you sandals that you can wear to the beach. The breakfast is amazing and they literally have everything you can think of and is open from 630-10. I think the staff has been so great and helpful and I never hear them say no. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a place for a few nights in Da Nang.5/5 stars

We experienced exceptional staff from start to finish, competent and always very friendly. Resort and rooms are fantastic and well worth the money. Breakfast was very nice. On the downside: The European restaurant for dinner. Overpriced and just not nice. Likewise beverages in the restaurants. 10x high street prices for beer and soft drinks and easily 4-5x outside restaurants of a similar standard. Very nice spa area but again overpriced by about factor 2. So not surprisingly, neither the Spa nor the restaurants/bars are frequented much. The location is excellent for beach and Golf but a bit far out from Da Nang and Hoi An and literally nothing to do around the hotel other than the Marble Mountains which are nice. On the upside, they have a shuttle service to Hoi An which is good but needs to be prebooked. Otherwise a taxi ride is required. We had two unhappier moments but the way how staff and management handled them were exemplary. Sometimes things just happen and when a hotel deals with matters that well, they are easily put away. The Vinpearl is en route to being one of the great hotels in Da Nang with little improvements here and there. Would we go again or recommend it? Yes, in particular if you are into Golf and love quiet and beautifully laid out resorts along endless stretches of powdered white natural beach. Look at weather charts for temperatures though :-)

This was my first time in Da Nang, so I can't really compare with other options. Mangala is basically a giant villa facing the beach, and it's gorgeous. The decor is superb (japanese style i think), the rooms are very spacious and comfortable, and the staff is extremely friendly and attentive. I'm not sure what to make of the location, since it's 30 minutes from Hoi An on one side and 30 minutes from Da Nang on the other. However, that's the case for all the luxury hotels and villas in the area and it's not an issue if you just plan on staying in the villa and enjoying the beach (which is gorgeous). Being a villa, it doesn't have the facilities of the large resorts but still, it has a pool and its own beach. That should keep most people happy.

Our room (superior double, 25th floor, facing the bay) was beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean. The oversized king bed was a luxurious dream come true. I should point out that, as others have noted, the room is a bit small, but for a couple like us it’s “cosy”. The rooms are very well soundproofed and you don’t hear any noise from the street below. (Do not underestimate the importance of this, as drivers here are constantly honking their horns, and the noise can drive you crazy). The cherry on top is a fantastic bar on the 36th floor, offering a spectacular view of the sunset over the city with the mountains in the backdrop. Happy Hour is 5-7pm daily with a great selection of draught and bottles craft beers at “buy one get one free”, and a free flow of snacks. Generally, hotel staff in Vietnam are very friendly and attentive, and here was no exception. Everyone went the extra mile to ensure we had a great stay. The Sheraton Four Points is more like a business hotel, and although it faces the beach, if you are a family with kids you may want to consider a more “resort-style” place such as the Furama. Other reviews mention that the lifts are a bit slow, and we did notice that too. The hotel is very new, and exceedingly good value at around US$120 per night. For only a slightly higher price than the other “local” hotels that line the beach, you get 5 star luxury and an experience that is on a whole different level. We will definitely stay there again. Very highly recommended to anyone visiting Da Nang!

Very nice stay in this hotel for groups. I have booked 2 nos. of 2-bedroom with private pool. My friends and I are very pleasant for our accomodation. The hotel has cart service to drive point to point. The hotel spa is nice. I love its swimming pool and beaches nearby. I will go to stay again once going to Da Nang. Keep going to work better Vinpearl resort & spa team. Thank you.
