Where to stay in Dalat
Dalat hotels & accommodations

We stayed here initially for one week but finally prolonged it once and going to do so one more time totaling overall time spend in Da Lat of 3+ weeks. Before we stayed in another hotel in Da Lat center and studied through Agoda/Booking/AirBnB all options nearby Tuyen Lam Lake. We like calm and relaxed leisure outside of noisy locations. Terracotta is the best hotel ...

Dalat Palace is the premier hotel in Dalat Vietnam. Great old worl style rooms , friendly , attentive and professional service. Spa is fantastic , food is of reasonable quality if a little overpriced. When we visited the hotel was very quiet. For stays in Dalat I would reccommend Dalat Palace for those with the budget.

Dalat Edensee is heaven on earth. Dalat itself is a beautiful place, undiscovered by many of the tourists who come to Vietnam. We arrived at the resort and were immediately greeted by the staff, who provided us a drink of ginger tea while we waited to check in. We were then personally escorted to our room in a buggy. The resort is beautiful and has a wonderful view of ...

After a year of so much heat in the north of Vietnam, we finally managed to go to Dalat and we found a beautiful location to spend 4 full days (and 4 perfect weather days!!). The Hotel is in a small valley surrounded by pine trees hills abt 20 min far from Dalat city center and 20 min from the Airport. The location is for Golf lovers but if you're looking for a very qu...

Dalat Hotel Du Parc is an impressive historical building in perfect condition. Staff at reception are very polite and helpful. If you are a golfer try out the golf course that belongs to Dalat Palace and Dalat du Parc - there are special rates available for hotel guests, its design is very nice with lots of water hazards and flowers everywhere. Golf and airport shuttl...

My favourite hotel in Viet Nam -- and one of the most stylish I have ever stayed in. With two rooms booked we had a whole villa to ourselves, with exquisite furniture, beautiful fittings, two living rooms , a stunning view from our balcony and a wonderful open fire with a butler always on hand to light it for us. Far and away the best hotel in Dalat - don't even thin...

We have previously stayed at a couple of different hotels in Dalat. The luxe hotel was a far better hotel for comfort, clean and service. The staff were fabulous and the service was amazing. The buffet was fantastic . The luxe hotel will definitely be our choice of hotel when we return to Dalat.

We had business in an area between Da Lat and the airport and took a chance on Dalat Sacom Resort. We were so pleasantly surprised by the beauty of the location, well appointed rooms, breakfast buffet and helpful staff. It is quite a distance from the main road and from anything else besides the Swiss Bel Resort, but the shuttle service makes it possible to get into Da...

I have to say Tulip Hotel 3 is one of the best hotels I have stayed in Dalat except those 5-stars ones. This is a brand new hotel which located at the center of Dalat on Ba Thang Hai street, one of the main streets of Hoa Binh area where you can walk just about 5 mins to Dalat night market. The staffs were very friendly and helpful especially one middle-age woman w...

Our stay with Zen Valley Dalat Resort was wonderful. The location is peaceful and captivating and even though it is slightly out of the main strip of Dalat it was only a 10 min ride to town and costs around $4. The staff were so friendly and helpful especially Viviene she was amazing always smiling and helped us with deciding events for the day. All the staff we smilin...

I have lived and travelled in Saigon for four years now and I must say that the Saigon-Dalat Hotel is the best one I have experienced. The rooms were the cleanest and most comfortable of any hotel I have stayed in. It had everything one could ask for. It was also quiet and warm. Yes, I know most people don't think of Vietnam as being a place where the weather can be co...

Struggle to find a new hotel for our quick visit to Dalat. I finally decided to stay in Blue Moon, where i stayed 2 years ago in a company trip. Blue Moon still remains whatever it is in my recalled memory. Near by Xuan Huong Lake, so we can just take a 1 minute walk to go to Thanh Thuy cafe and another 5 mins to get to Dalat market. Blue Moon acquires a well-trained...

Hana Dalat hotel is located within walking distance to the market. Can find lots of street food and Lien Ho bakery round the corner. Room is well equipped with modern fittings and spacious. Excellent wifi speed compared to 5 star hotel Vinpearl Condotel I stayed in Nha trang

Staff is extremely friendly, helpful and informative, she advised us not to waste extra money for cab but just rent their motorcycle with cheap price. We booked the Dalat one day tour from Tulip hotel itself, which is so convenient. Staff helped us to book bus ticket as well, which saved our times to go Bus Central. A great bakery & restaurant right in front of hotel...

My family has visited Dalat City a few times and this is the best place we have stayed! Wonderful and friendly staff greeted us upon arrival and each morning when we had our breakfast. The morning breakfast menu is slightly limited but very delicious food with unlimited serving were served. My kids and I enjoyed the local dishes very much. The room is so comfortable th...

What a truly brilliant experience. We have been travelling Asia for 7 months and this is by far the best Hotel we have stayed in. From the time we arrived we were treated like family. From the doorman and security staff to the bellboys and reception staff we were treated with nothing but respect and warm smiles. We were greet by the GM Mohammed at check in, what ...

Tulip II is a great hotel! We have been all over Thailand and Vietnam and can honestly say it was one of the best places we stayed at that price point. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. The facilities are clean and could not be more centrally located. It was a 3 minute walk to the market and night market. The only negative point is that breakfast is n...

I was planning to go to Dalat with another 2 friends (a guy and a girl). Thats why i was looking for a suite with seperate living room and bedroom areas. Sammy's deluxe suite offers a very nice roomy bathroom (with bathstub and stand). Its living room also has complementary drinks and teabag. The hotel locates very closed to downtown Dalat and Con Ga Church. It took on...

The room was clean, tidy, quiet, and cozy during my stay. More importantly, the water is warm haha (showering without warm water in Dalat will sicken you haha). I thought I make a right choice. The hotel is located near the bus station which is quite not convenience to go to town, but if you rent the motorcycle this will make your stay in this hotel perfect. You can ...

Dalat Terrasse Des Roses is a great hotel - the staff were so friendly and the owner is on site and very helpful. He even arranged some tours for me - which is a definite must when you are there as the guide speaks great English and is very knowledgeable. The rooms are cleaned properly - and the garden is amazing...a lot of hard work goes into it by the gardeners. Roo...

Yes, it was right choice to choose Dalat for a good relaxation away from the busy city. And, got more of unexpected satisfaction by selecting Anada for my stay at Dalat. The property at Anada was much better than what it showed at Agoda and importantaly the room was clean and very well faciated just like a home awy from home. I actually regret I have planned to stay...

Osaka has always been my prefer choice to stay in Dalat. This is my second time staying here and it could be my third time of next trip. Opening the door is the view of mountain and Dalat city which is a plus of this place. That is all I love about this place. My room was very far from reception by walking down to almost the end. But no worry, the taxi could pick me up...

Love it. Apparently an old one, lots of old customer so we were lucky because they don't usually post rooms on agoda. Professional, actually put us in the room like in the picture, unlike many other hotels in Vietnam. There is an absolutely huge courtyard so hcm expat with a car can drive it there for summer retreat and won't have to worry about parking. The location m...

We spent 2 days here Very helpful staff , she helped me everything from booking in Facebook - to the day that I stayed there Our room is at 3rd floor with little balcony where I enjoyed taking photos with the view and take a deep breath. So peaceful and quiet , no horn and crowd sounds Beautiful decoration with flowers and french style , classic music played a...

i was supposed to leave dalat for nha trang but it was raining cat and dogs and i did not book any hotel in dalat for the day after i checked out from hp villa at 7 am. i used my iphone app to book through agoda and was confirmed within 10 min. i checked into la sapinette at 9.30 am which was early and they had no problems giving me an early check in. kudos to the hote...
Cheap places to stay in Dalat

My boyfriend and I stayed on the top floor so we had a wonderful view of the city. The room is equipped with a loud speaker set so we can turn on music to chill each night. There is a cafe on the ground floor so you can always order a quick drink. The only thing I would rather have improved is the water boiler. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't, which is ann...

We felt completely comfortable like home. Luc the receptionist guy was friendly, funny and really helpful. When our bathroom had some trouble, we informed the hotel then they fixed it right away. Also, it's convenient to walk from the hotel to Dalat market thru a shortcut, which we didnt know on the first day then it took us 25mins to reach the market. During the time ...

Loved staying here. The woman and family who run it are so kind and helpful. I have a gluten allergy and she even made me special food with rice flour! It is also in a nice location because it is not too far from the town but in a good spot that is more quiet than others.

The room was great! It feels like we checked in an upscale hotel. But if you are a person who can't sleep with a lot of noise this might be a draw back. Our room was on the second floor and it is right in front of the balcony of a restaurant. So you might hear a lot of chatters and sometimes karaoke. Great location; a kilometer away from the night market. There are a l...

It’s a wonderful stay here ,the room is super big and tidy ,my sisters and I we three people had a nice stay here , it’s very near the Crazy house ,just walk about 5-10 minutes, and to other spots by walk it is about 20 minutes,by taxi just 10-15 minutes , very convenient, they also offered free breakfast, the breakfast is very delicious , the fried rice is the best me...

The location is far from the city around 30 mins for walking but if you take the taxi, it’ll be 10 mins. All stuffs are very kind and friendly. They can speak English well. They gave me the valuable information like where to book the bus tickets. More and more importantly, they gave me free beer coupons at Yolo coffee and bar. Keeping it up with the free beer!

Stayed here for 2 night while I was travelling in Dalat. This place is new on the market, quiet and within walking distance to heart of the town centre, everything is decorated to its best standard, made me feel like being at home. I was treated to a family dinner when I arrived on the first night by the host Steven and his lovely girlfriend, the staff here are fun and...

A fantastic place!!! Best staff (it is runned by a family) and they're sooooo nice! Every other evening there's a family dinner which is super cosy. They also provide an activity every evening and play music a lot. The hostel is very big, super clean and the beds are huge! 100% recommend

Best homestay ever!! Not kidding - the night buses in Vietnam that are oh so dodgy promised us we would be arriving into dalat at 6:30am. Instead at 4am we were dropped into dalat :( nothing was open so we went to cam ly. We were going to just sleep in a hammock outside in the cold and wait until a reasonable hour but the wife of this homestay Noc found us outside and ...

I moved here from another hostel in Dalat and I am glad that I did. The hostel is located in a quiet and homely alley. The view is great and it is easy to walk to nearby places. What makes Note Hostel standout is the amazing people. There are lots of local and foreign tourists so you meet a lot of people in the common rooms. They frequently jam and you will be invite...

Where do you begin reviewing somewhere like this. The dorms, these are newly renovated as of Nov 2019. The beds are large and comfortable, the bathroom well finished, spacious, with the bonus of free towels and toiletries. The owner: undoubtedly the friendliest person I met in Vietnam. Absolutely nothing was too much for her. She looked after me like her own child. Bei...

We loved Pensee Gueshouse! Stayed fir 3 nights. Room was huge wuth a balcony and great views. Very clean and everything provided including big fluffy blankets! Couple who own it are really lovely although don't speak English. They get aroynd it by using their phone to interpret and an English speaking neighbour to help arrange tours. Can rent a motorbike for VND100k ...

Thanks to Mr. Peace, his wife and Mr. Happy. It is a nice hostel and we had a great moment in staying at Dalat. Activities like family dinner, games time, tours are provided. The staff also helped us to call a cab and explained in details to the driver which tourist spots we would like to go. It is highly recommended if you want to have an experience in staying at a ho...

You will feel welcome at Tay Backpackers...All staff are friendly and the vibe is relaxed and welcoming! :-) Staff speak English on a high level so extracurricular activities and onward travels arrangements are easily made! I had a wonderful time, Big Mahalos from Hawaii

The hotel is less than 2 years old. The hotel has no lift and it can be bit of a chore to haul your bags up to the 3rd or 4th floor. However, for the price the room is very nice. We booked a double and ended up with 2 queen sized beds. Nice hot shower, beds a bit hard but normal in Asia, no heater or aircon but not required in Dalat. A 2 block walk puts you up on the m...

When we arrived We were greeted by the owner uncle moi who then sat down with us and offered free tea and coffee. He was very friendly and funny, great start to the stay. He let us know about all the tours that can be booked through them, but didn't feel under any pressure to do anything. Although we straight away opted for canyoning which turned out to be a great day ...

First of all, I like to say I love this hotel so much. Talk about the room.. clean, quite spacious, good City view, fresh towel everyday. The hotel is located stone away from the city centre. Just beside the hotel, there is a good restaurant. Quite a numbers of hotels around it but it's relaxing area. Receptionist are good but can't speak English well except the guy. R...

Via agoda price sorting low to high, this hotel is found. I didn't want much with this low price, but the convenience was not cheap(?^^) as the price. The front desk is beautifully decorated by hand printing & wood working by the owner who studied drawing as well loves backpacking. It was the very best place for me who traving long time in burget. I strongly recomend t...

Once i came here, im totally convinced by this sight-seeings around this hotel, this makes me feel less stress cause of trees surrounded and of course the fresh cool air in Dalat also did give me such a nice trial alongside my stays. This hotel is absolutely worth for money

Clean, large and comfort room. Shower room is large, hot shower and full- scale of amenity. Wi-fi is speedy, stable and covering the place. The owner took care of the guest by herself. She is friendly and helpful. Even the communication is limited but the Google translater is helpful somehow. Location in the the Google map needs correction.

my stay in the hotel is a very comfortable one and great value for money. this is a full-featured hotel with facilities like steam bath, sauna. you can also pamper yourself with a massage or the soothes away the aching leg muscles with a foot massage. this hotel is also a short hop to the busy marketplace cho dalat. the place is bustling with activities as early a...

Perfect location, nice place, communication was perfect. Anh Bang was very nice to my family and helped us with all the question, responded very quick. The apartment was clean and had everything for us to use. It closed to places that we wanted to go, we could just go down stairs, bought some foods and cooked at home. Very recommend and will visit next time. Thank you

Real reviews for hotels
Beautiful mountain town with a ski resort feel. Very clean compared to many places I've been in Vietnam, and despite a strong tourist vibe there was plenty of authenticity to be found.
Dalat is on a highland cover by huge forest and mountain. As a result it is cool and fresh all the time in year.
Dalat is a very popular tourist destination for many southern Vietnamese people, and it's easy to understand why.
While the city itself is a bit quiet, there's quite a lot to see and do around the city e.g. plantations, waterfalls, hiking up Lang Biang.
Dalat is friendly and a refreshing environment. There are many activities for the older and younger tourists - bike rides, coach, private car for countryside viewing.
A romantic and beautiful place with a pleasant climate to relax with your life partner. Best sign seeing on motorbike if you are up to it.
The most attractive part about Dalat is the air. Nothing much to do there. So its good if you just want to relax.
Dalat is a nice mountain resort town. the main difference with other towns n Vietnam is the cool climate.
Dalat is one of the nicest cities in Vietnam blessed with a fantastic weather all year round. The views are superb, the downside is that still there are places quite dirty such as the lake.
Just a cool French city located in the beautiful mountains of Vietnam. Lots of the French impressions and architecture still left.
Generally, we found that the people in Dalat are less open to foreigners compared to those in Nha Trang and Mui Ne.
It's been 7 years to make decision to go back. But my children are happy, my wife & I have lots of love pictures with nature, waterfall.
APPRECIATE THE NATURE... DALAT IS CLEAN N WEATHER MAKES THE DIFFERENT! ITS REALLY NICE PLACE TO VISIT N DO LOTS OF REFLECTION N BONDING WITH FAMILY! PEOPLE OF DALAT IS SO WARM N FRIENDLY , AND FEEL SAFE WALKING AROUND.
One of the nicer cities in Vietnam with nice weather compare to other areas. Nice cool temperatue almost all year round.
I like the nice fresh air of Dalat, Can get a little cold at night in December/January. Since Dalat is in the highlands, sightseeing and nature was wonderful.
The town itself isn't really worth seeing. It's the many sights outside of town like waterfalls, silk production, forests that make it interesting, but also ads to expenses, since the tours are not cheap.
the most interesting to stay in dalat is because of the nice weather. You should go to dalat from Nov to March in the year as it is not the raining season.
get out and see lakes, forests, and waterfalls. Drink coffee and try to find some of the vegetarian food around town.
I love Dalat's street foods. My favorite is grilled oysters with nuts and spring onions. You can find these in food stalls along the Dalat Market.
People are friendly and easy to move around either by walking, by taxi, easy rider or tours arranged by hotels.
Cool weather, beautiful gardens, lovely waterfalls. Very strong coffee, and we love the L'angdefarm buffet of gelato, coffee, tea and dried fruits
a bit far from HCM but worth the travel. Dalat is on highlands and very cold ideal if travelling with kids as they dont need to walk under heat of the sun and can enjoy sight seeing and activities :)
Dalat is a small town for visitors to go there and just relax. There are some places worth visiting such as the Cremaillere Railway Station, Valley of Love and etc.
Really beautify Disneyfied city set in the central highlands of Vietnam. It is surrounded by lush green pine trees and includes a large lake with vintage swan paddle boats.
Lovely area, bright sunny days and cool evenings, no need for AC and could snuggle under the comforter.
only stay for 2 night is totally enough... nothing exceprt for fresh air... compared to other places in vietnam .
The Central Highlands is a pleasant break from the 90F + temperatures of SaiGon. Comfortable days (60F) and nights (50F), although you will typically want a light coat for evening strolls of the night markets.
good place to stay around with 2000 villas unique design, flowers, foods, weather so nice, coffee so good, I love it.
The route between Dalat and Nha Trang is fantastic (it takes about 5 hours by bus)!!!! Dalat is decorated with beautiful flowers and pretty buildings.
we just loved DaLat. the countryside is absolutely beautiful. the markets are great. the dining is great, you can get Viet to Mexican food.
