This hotel is the best in Donghae city. High atop a hill, you can watch the sun rise over the East Sea. Great facilities, comfortable beds. Highly recommended
I chose this hotel because this was the only place with 3 beds. At first I thought this was in Gangneung, but it happened to be in Donghae. My mistake. Actually the location wasn't too bad. I wanted to see the cave and it was only a few minutes of drive from the hotel. And the beach with the candle-shaped rock too. The hotel itself seemed pretty old but it was okay. Bu...

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was located one road back from the beach and has a bridge that connects the parking lot to the beach. We drove here and liked the fact that there was an Emart and many Korean resteraunts only a 15 minute drive away. The food at the hotel was very expensive so we did not eat any meals at the hotel. The indoor jjimjilbang was nice...
It's on the main road but a bit far from restaurants and stores -- which we liked. Food delivery is easy and the manager will call/translate for you. And the view is stunning! Such a gorgeous ocean view of waves crashing in on the rocks. The room was spacious and comfortable and a perfect temperature. It's also right on the East Coast bike path.
