"The hotel was overall a good choice, and pretty good value for the money (I'd heard Dusseldorf is one of the most expensive parts of Germany). I didn't use the spa/health center but I suspect this would have made it an even better value as there is a pool and sauna. The room wasn't too small either, there were two beds right next to each other, plenty of space to walk between a desk and a large closet, and a bathroom which was pretty spartan but had almost everything you need (although it did have shampoo/soap, which I've never been partial too but perhaps isn't a problem for people). If I had paid a lot more it would have been worth getting something a bit nicer but given the Agoda prices it was definitely worth it - and I didn't book more than a week in advance so I probably could have gotten an even better rate.
