"Excellent facilities from the gym to the spa and very very nice staff, including all at reception, with special mention for Rahul who helped me immensely. Room is large with huge windows, 42 inch smart TV with wide variety of channels, comfortable bed and immaculately clean linens. Big closet with safe and ironing board etc, covered in mirrored glass. Bathroom is well equipped with shower in the bathtub and the soap is heveanly. Breakfast was delicious. Now the cons: There was no electric kettle ie tea/coffee making facilities in the room. I could not locate the mini bar even though I was told that there is one, at check out. The location is a bit of an issue for people who want to shop or walk around as it is located on the edge of the city (khanapara) and is quite a distance from shopping. One has to use taxis or autorikshaws and those costs add up quickly especially when they realise that you are not a local and Jack up fares. Opinion : Definitely one of the best hotels in Gauhati if you don't mind the location. On the flip side, going to the airport is a breeze as you don't have to negotiate as much traffic as you would have to if you were staying in the centre of the city. "
