Myrtle Beach (SC) hotels & places to stay

Clean, good location, affordable price. If you are on a budget and just want a quick escape to the beach, this might be the place for you. I stayed in Type A unit. They have refrigerator, microwave, stove, coffee maker and dishes. Although, I only used the ref, I can see the rest to be useful if I would've stayed longer. I only stayed for 2 nights. The downside is the across the road parking. But I guess you cannot have it all for the price.

We ended up staying somewhere else. Dead cockroaches on the floor, cigarette burns in the blankets, a toilet seat with visible pee stains. The incompetent front desk worker took about 20 minutes just to check us in. It’s not that hard...I’ve done it. The door to our room was broken, so that you’d have to try the key several times and heave your body weight against the door to open it. In the hallway, my mother and I were stopped by a sketchy man who asked if we wanted to get drunk with him in this room. Only unsavory people stay here. It’s disgusting and feels very very unsafe.

All staff encountered were attentive and kind. The room was fairly clean and well stocked. The view was amazing and the hotel itself is located conveniently on the beach. The hotel does a good job of addressing various Corona virus issues. I would definitely recommend if you're looking for a nice stay at Myrtle Beach and want to be close to the boardwalk and other attractions.

The front desk was quite helpful, we were in need of directions around the area and they were quite helpful giving us easy to understand and clear directions each time. Everyone was friendly and the breakfast was well prepared and the ladies running the breakfast were friendly and helpful. I accidently spilled my coffee and the lady stepped in and cleaned it before I could even help! Also, they kept the area very neat and clean.

The view was fantastic, I have stayed in Myrtle Beach numerous times in different resorts and love going there, However. this time the room was outdated and the kitchenette looked like it would catch fire if it was used. The bath tub also had a thin sheet of plastic stuck unevenly to the tub to cover up something wrong with the bath tub. The price was ridiculously expensive for the 4 day stay. There was also many young adults just hanging around the parking garage area and the security guard was located in front of the office.

I am thankful for the price we received. Although we arrive to a 210.00 security and resort fee. The 150.00 was returned within hours of checking out. Parking was great. Parking up to the 10th floor. We was on the 14 floor. Room 1410. The bed is by the front door. It would have been better if the shutters were black out curtains. Myrtle is always lit up which kept the room lit as well. The kitchen was nice had all the amenities. The bathroom was nice an roomy, stocked well. The entertaining area was out dated all around from the tv being on a console. The couch was old, stained n rough. The barrel chair wasn't comfortable either. I wish it was more comfortable. We didn't go for the strip. We wanted to truly relax. We would stay again but wouldn't stay in this room again. The location is awesome. Walking distance to everything for fun seekers and food lovers! The view of the beach off the balcony was awesome.

This hotel is at a great location, close to the beach, oceanfront room view was excellent. Room was clean, but not spotless. Bathroom was old and dated. Carpet throughout was dirty, needs a good shampooing. The pool area was really nice. Tiki Bar was nice and reasonably priced. Most enjoyable was the pool area. There were many families with children having fun. The biggest disappointment was Martins. We had dinner there the first night, I ordered Lobster, my spouse ordered veal. The fresh baked rolls were stale and hard. The lettuce in our salads were rusty, salads looked like they were made a week ago. Lobster was tasteless, butter served with it was margarine. Yuk. This is a pricey place, so I would recommend eating somewhere else.

So hands down the friendliest staff I’ve ever had especially in Myrtle beach. We had an issue with our toilet and they took a little bit to fix but the issue was handled. We loved the water slides and indoor pool and lazy river. We loved the fact it was opened until 11, so we could go out to eat and go out shopping and not have to rush to get to the pool. I will say this, while the view was nice, parking was easy, and the room was some what updated, my least favorite thing was our bathroom and the indigo building. It was the smaller of buildings and didn’t have any of the extra facilities in it. It had outdoor pools and hot tub and one indoor hot tub. Our bathroom needs some work done to it. The bathtub had cracks in it and holes behind the nozzles, which my toddler kept wanting to stick her fingers in. The ceilings had holes and rust. Also while in the bathroom you could hear our neighbors plain as day. I definitely will stay here again, I’ll probably stay in a different building here. For the money and for a extended weekend trip it wasn’t bad. I also love how the pool passes double as your room key. That was super convenient.

We were a little surprised to find that our modest-sized room with one (very comfortable) double bed also contained a full-sized fridge, four-ring stove with oven, microwave, sink, cupboards, pots, dishes, cutlery, table for two. We didn't need this at all (just spending the night so as to catch an early morning flight out of Myrtle Beach Airport), but if you did want to self-cater, you'd be set

I left my sunglasses in the toilet next to the restaurant but nobody turned in. It is a kind of my fault but I do not seem to get 100% cooperation. The receptionist is very nice and cooperative though. It was our first time in Myrtle Beach. We live out here in Atlanta GA. The beach is definitely beautiful. The hotel room is nice looking out at the ocean. The sink was mildly clogged up and expected the worse. Housekeeping never called back. Pipes are rusty and supposed to get worse overtime. Other staff were nice. The welcome gift and the time involved in getting free package was not necessary but the lady was super sweet. People go there and have different plans. We had plans that don’t need to spare time in free hotels. I would go back again for good price and location but learn to avoid what we don’t need.

The beach access was very convenient. One can walk from hotel to the beach and enjoy a nice stroll any time. Our room was fine, though we did have to call the front desk for the blow dryer and extra shampoo--there was only one bottle for a 4-person room. There wasn't a hotel directory, and we couldn't find an ice machine on our floor. When we asked a cleaning staff, she didn't know either. We booked the hotel b/c it boasted of beach access and several swimming pools, lazy river, pirate ship, water slides, etc. Perhaps it was because of the season (early October), the water slides were closed, which was disappointing to our child. Other than that, everything else was fine.

We originally booked an ocean front room but instead got a corner room that still had an amazing view of the ocean, but not the whole front of it. The staff were friendly and gave us a discount for the mix up. It was still a great room. I didn't expect it to be like an apartment. We still had an amazing time and was a good little getaway that didn't feel like a usual hotel room stay. Would definitely stay again.

I was a little surprised when we went to check in and almost 100. dollars added to cost for vat and resort fees.Yes we had fun.Yes we booked a more expensive place because of the water park and for our grandkids to enjoy.But we were not expecting more for the room and then added fees.I believe this should be shown as soon as you book and let people know the full price up front.

The staff was amazing and super friendly. The first room we were in smelled of smoke so they gave us another one. The second room was better but the lights beside the bed didn't work so they had a lamp across the room. The bathroom was VERY dated and the counter was too small for even one persons things. Although the room wasn't dirty it didn't feel super clean either. There was only one ice station and that was on the first floor. Given a choice I would not choose this hotel again.

This hotel was beautiful, the rooms and facilities clean, friendly staff and a block away from a store, restaurant, souvenir shop, ice cream shop and more! There were no other high rises beside this hotel, so the views went on for miles and miles. We had no issues with checkin, our room, or check out. This is the first time staying at the beach and not having a single complaint! We will be staying here again! We stayed on the beach, but the pools looked very nice and clean. Lots of showers to rinse sand.

WiFi not free and expensive.Free parking a plus. Water park and amusement park not open on our dates which we were unaware of. Ocean awesome but waves and currents strong and unable to swim for a couple of days. Not allowed to use plastic inflatable air bed in water as they can burst and leave a mess had to be canvas with a specific length of rope attached.Life guards present on the beach areas.Our stay April 3-10 2019.probably lots more to do later in the season but we still enjoyed the ocean as waves although cold initially.A great holiday!!!!

I had a issue at another Hotel i was able book into the Landmark last minute . I got there explained what happen and the night Manager Cindy was so understanding and upgraded our room and it was amazing she took ownership of a issue that was not her own and made us feel wanted . I will for sure be back at this hotel and room was clean , big and the view was breathtaking ....!!!
