"Hotel is good for travelers with early or late flights to new Chitose Airport and free onsen access as well. Room is huge with full bathroom facilities. Service as usual was fantastic with all of the receptionists knowing how to speak and understand English language. Onsen is surprisingly good, its big and modern. It's not part of the hotel but airport instead. Closes at 10:45pm though, as the airport is closed at around 11pm. Overall a fantastic place to stay at but note that it's a little pricer than other hotels in Sapporo. But definitely a good option for early/late flights."

"The hotel is less than 5 mins walk to Sapporo station, but only you get your direction right. From Sapporo JR station always head toward the north exit where the university direction and turn Right after exit station main entrance, walk till you see the first traffic light and cross over, from your Right walk till the end of the building and turn Left . The hotel is just few step away. The main entrance is just next to "Sauce" restaurant. The hotel staff are friendly, they always greet you when ever they see you. The hotel have a coffee machine at the lobby area and is free. They also have paying washing machine at the lobby , so you not need to bring to much clothing and can stuff more goodies into your luggage. I think JR East Hotel should provide a more clear direction from Sapporo station to their place, as my first day arrival at Sapporo station, I spend 30 min to look for it as Sapporo station is a very big place and with many Exit."

"We were on a 3 weeks holiday through Japan (Osaka, Kyoto, Hakone, Tokyo & Hokkaido). This was the best hotel we stayed in. Location is excellent. We came from New Chitose Airport by direct train (no transfers required, which is important if you have kids with you) and got off at JR Sapporo Station. The hotel is connected to JR Sapporo Station via the underground mall. So in winter (we stayed there on 1 to 3 Dec 2017), you wouldn't be exposed to the cold from the airport all the way to the hotel. The hotel is about a 5 to 10 mins underground walk from the JR Station. One major draw of Sapporo is the winter illumination. That was 5 mins walk through the underground from the hotel. So again, excellent location! The major shopping and nightlift area of Susukino is also connected through the underground walkways. We booked a triple room with breakfast. The breakfast was amazing! Food was good and service was great! Just an example, they served 2 types of fresh milk. One was an organic fresh milk and another was a local Hokkaido fresh milk. Another example was that the pancakes and waffles station had whipped cream, cream cheese, maple syrup and 6 different types of honey to go with the pancakes and waffles. A first time ever I've experienced such detail at just one station. The soft boiled eggs station had a little rock placed there with a sign that said "stone for cracking egg". It was a little humorous but yet another little sign of attention to detail. We stayed 2 nights and I was looking forward to the next day's breakfast. There are just so many things I could say about this hotel that totally made it a very memorable stay. This is the hotel I would stay in over and over if I were in Sapporo again."

"The best local chain hotel I have experienced in Japan so far! Close to the Sapporo station, 10 minutes by foot, or right in front of the Odori Subway station if you chose not to walk (that's one stop from Sapporo station). The hotel is located in between of Sapporo Station and Susukino, facing the large Odori Park. Summer beer garden and festival made the whole place very lively. While its location has scored great brownie points, let's talk about the room itself. Great design with best use of space, coupled with modern furnitures and most importantly spacious bathroom, which is rare in Japan. The hotel also offers complimentary spa, where you can soak in and overlooking the city though I didn't have the time to try but I am sure it's a plus after a rough day of sightseeing in the midst of summer. Staffs are helpful and friendly too, which is much appreciated in a foreign country when your Japanese language is at bare minimum level."

"Located right outside exit 3 of Honsui Susukino metro station, linked to the covered underground mall Pole Town (which stretches from Susukino area to Sapporo Station). Walking distance to Nijo market, Don Quiote and Daiso. Many evening food options in the susukino area, very lively after the closure of malls at 8-9pm. Convenience shop on ground level of hotel. Hotel has vending machines, laundry, trousers press, hair salon on ground floor. Rooms are more spacious than newer hotels by Japan standards, this hotel is older than neighboring Mercure or Daiwa Roynet. It is clean and pleasant in the rooms, beds are good, pillow is excellent in terms of neck support (easily the best pillow i have had in hotels). Every room has a bath tub for a soak and japanese styled bathroom. One down side is that the wall in the shower area is rather moist and stained and probably should be changed soon. "

"The hotel is in walking distance to Susukino subway station about 10 min. Not quiet convenience if you have large luggage. Staffs were helpful and always smile. In the room, there are microwave, TV, fridge, hair dryer, pot. The bathroom and toilet were separate and clean. Bed is comfortable. Self service laundry machines are on 2nd and 7th floor. And there is a 24hr supermarket near the hotel. "
