Suwon-si hotels & accommodations

This quiet little gem it tucked into a back street near the bus terminal. It's quiet, new, extremely clean and the staff is super nice. There's good food all around. We arrived and left on our bicycles, so I can't speak to the parking situation. If we need a hotel in the Suwon area, we'll come back to this hotel.

Second time to stay with Ramada Plaza Suwon. The hotel is almost the only option for business visitors to Suwon, the only 5 stars hotel in Suwon. The location is the central of the city but still several miles from subway station. Room is clean and comfortable, as usual. One reminder is toothpaste and toothbrush is not included in room charge, you need to pay for it...

It is a typical Ibis hotel. Built recently thus all the rooms are pretty new and clean. Small gym but enough to get you sweat. The only down side for me is the location. I need to go to other town outside Suwon by subway and the hotel is not any near to the station. I need to pay US$15 - US$20 to get to the subway station. Also, the breakfast is expensive. There is a 2...

The front desk staff at this hotel is excellent. Even when large groups are checking in, they make sure to take care of me along side of the group rather than making me wait for the large group to complete their check in. I wish this hotel was closer to the train station or bus stations, and I REALLY wish that taxi drivers would learn how to find it, but I am very plea...

Overall, excellent stay only if you are traveling to this area. Location: very close to the subway station, but not much sightsee to this part of Suwon. Might be better stayed close to Suwon Station. Samsung HQ and KBS drama studio is north of here. The place is always VERY clean, room is very spacious. They actually change the sheets every day! (the hotel markings on ...

Finding this hotel is a gem. Location is great just a few minutes walk from Suwon City Hall station surrounded by many stores and restaurants. The staff speaks limited English but they are very nice. Cleanliness is a plus. Love the big room and the shower room. I just hope they have a telephone in the room. I will definitely book this hotel again when I go back to Suw...

Definitely not worth the money. Old building, perhaps historical in Suwon, but nothing special. Maybe OK for a business stay, but really nothing for couples or families. Bills itself as a 4_star, first class hotel ..... and prices itself on the high end in Suwon. But not worth it. Lobby has a very nice appearance, as well as the main floor restaurant and bar...

Stayed in Suwon as a hub with Daughter and grandsons. Booked 2 room on agoda same type as it would not allow me to select two different types. On arrival with late check in 8pm explained my situation and asked for one truple room upgrade. Staff was very helpful and got the bigger room with no cost. Excellent location. walking distance from Suwon station exit 8 or 11. ...

well, many hotels in suwon and in korea are love hotels supposedly but they can be great for couples or solo business people and have high tech tvs, remote control everything and big whirl pool baths, jacuzzi and sepperate showers and many grooming products for guests... it is not too high price mid range too...

Travelled with my parents so we had the garden view suite for two nights because we would like to explore Suwon a bit more. The room was spacious and worth the money. A good kitchen though I dont understand why there were not cooking stove nor any utensils. Bathtub was clean. The hotel is 10-15 min walk from Suwon City Hall station. Easy taxi to travel around as it is ...

I traveled to Suwon for a military Ball. This hotel was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. The bathroom had everything I needed. The jets worked on the whirlpool. I must recommend this hotel for staying in Suwon. The hotel staffs do not miss a chance to help you. They came to receive our luggage on arrival and did the same during departure. They came to our hotel room to hand over some specific foods which we did not find at the counter. In a word, they give very high importance to the customers. For the kitchenwares, you need ...

This hotel was wonderful for the area it was located in. It was near one of the fortress gates and you can go on the hike along the fortress wall all the way to the top for epic views of the entire city. Stayed at Welcome Guesthouse due to an event in Suwon World Cup Stadium, which is quite near to the guesthouse. Not the nearest place for tour places, but perfect for going to the Stadium. I switched from a different place in Youngtong. If you can snag a room for 50,000 KRW (50USD) This is a good deal. The staff knows English well enough, the rooms are very comfortable and have the ability to block out sunlight well. Although I asked for a non smoking room, there was a lighter and ashtray on the table. Regardless, it didn't have that horrible cigarette s...

This hotel is located 10 minutes walk from the Suwon world cup stadium. It is convenient to catch a bus from Suwon Station or Suwon bus terminal. I originally booked a standard room, but asked to upgrade for an extra won ($). The manager gave me a two room upgrade to the deluxe A room. It was very clean and seemed brand new.

Spent one day in the hotel while the typhoon rained hard all day. Was comfortable. Within walking distance to some central areas of Suwon as well as the main bus stop. Found convenience stores and a lovely coffee cafe nearby - there were many of those.

Rampart is actually motel not a hotel. You can see the hotel after you come out from the airport bus. The bus will drop you at So-Suwon Bus terminal ( Different from Suwon bus terminal). its's good if you arrive from the airport very late but if you have time try the other hotel because its not in the center of the city.

First off, the hotel is a "Love Hotel", but it's not seedy, it just means it is comfortable. It will become much easier if we get a guidance from Tourist Information Centre at Suwon Station. Staff there is very helpful and patient to assist everything you would like to know.
Suwon's historic interest consists in a large palace, the city walls which are complete and which allow a circular walk with great views.
Suwon has an active night life where one can go to a bar or a pc room or food eatery or coffee shop at the yong tong area.
It's a small city, nowhere near the size of Seoul. It's a good place to spend a few days to do something more relaxed but not be too far away from the city - it's about 45 minutes to Seoul by bus and an hour by train.
Quite a busy city yet quite relaxing compared to the central Seoul. Good city to stop by for a couple of nights to look around some sightseeings and parks.
well they have many shopping areas here and many 24 hour places... many good places to eat as well with many types of foods, high level of tech and education here as well.
well, the people are nice and there are many different kinds of rooms, like music rooms, pc rooms, video rooms, and lots of places to eat many good food.
Suwon, again, has a lot of venues for everyone. Because a lot of foreigners reside there, a lot of the locals speak enough English for you to get around and just enough to get your food order right.
THere is old casstle traditional city that you can visit. But it is better to travel by car. THe people here are nice and friendly
Suwon is where Samsung is headquartered. As with all Korean cities, night life is fantastic. One wonders when people sleep.
