Yongin-si hotels & places to stay

Price is budget. Hotel is actually a love motel. During check in, I was given a complimentary pack of toothbrush, some freebies and a condom too. Room has a high speed internet pc, microwave, large flat screen tv provided. There is also 2 small little red bulbs on the ceiling which I do not know the purpose. Maybe to alert guests if there is a raid or sumting. Receptionist has very little command of English. But overall for price wise, it is worth the money. To get to Everland, the cab fare is ard KRW12000. This hotel is opposite to Yongin Bus Terminal and buses runs to Seoul Express Terminal/Subway.

I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone hoping to stay a night or two to visit Everland or ski at Jisan Resort. Walking distance to Everland-Jongdae train station and Parking 4,5 for Everland shuttle. A lot of shops, restaurants and convenient stores nearby. Staff was very helpful even with their limited english. When asking for directions though, as much as possible try to be very clear. I asked for directions to Yongin City Hall and they helped me get a taxi (which I thought will take me there) but instead took me to Yongin Bus Terminal (to take a bus to go to City Hall. I'm not sure if it was a misunderstanding but apparently I can take the train and spend less time and money. Apart from that little incident, this hotel is perfect! I took a family twin (1 king and 1 single bed). We were four but it was very comfortable. Big room with a big family area, large TV, some kitchen appliances (microwave, hot water thermos) and awesome bathroom. There was even a jacuzzi though we did not get to use it. One of the best hotels I've stayed in for a price that was really good in my opinion :)

We had a very lovely stay at this hotel. The design of our room was nice and cosy, bed was comfortable and you can get a softer pillow on request. Though the staff can only speak limited English but they were still very helpful and tried their best to help with our request. The hotel is also close to the subway station and bus terminal with only less than 10 mins walk. Plus it is in the centre of Yongin-si with lots of shops and eateries nearby. If we ever go to Yongin-si again we will definitely stay here again!

This is a really nice hotel at a very good price. The only issue is the location, it's far from Seoul but it's not that bad as there are buses directly connecting to a few hub locations in Seoul. Like other metropolitan cities, even though you stay within Seoul, it may take hours and more just to reach another point in the same city. Rooms are clean, staffs are kind and efficient, and also they have a policy for virus control which makes me extra comfortable during my stay.

I hope this review will be useful to people planning to stay here. To get to the hotel from Incheon, first u have to get to Yongin bus terminal. Go to gate 7A at Incheon and ask for the airport bus to Yongin (about 11,200 won per pax) and get off at the last station. Bus trip takes around 1.5 hours. Once u reach Yongin, get to Lotteria, there is a taxi stand outside this shop, walk straight in the direction of the taxi stand, and walk under a short overhead bridge. U will see Hotel Cinema, and a bus stop just in front of this hotel. Catch bus 5002 or 5700 to Everland. Get off at the stop immediately AFTER Everland (the Everland stop is where the bus turns into a bus interchange/ terminal). Cross the road and look for a hotel with blue words. That's Bluehill Hotel. Hotel staff was friendly, although he couldn't speak fluent English but was simple enough to get by. He was very helpful and even drew a map for us to get to Yangji ski resort. Floor was heated and comfortable, essential in 5 degrees Celsius weather. The hotel is also reasonably near Yangji Pine Resort. To get to this ski resort, take bus 66 or 66-4 from the bus stop opposite the bank (in front of a meat shop) and get off when the bus announces "Yangji pine resort". There's only one bank around the area and about 5 min walk from Bluehill Hotel. Not sure if there's a shuttle going to the resort but the staff said there wasn't when we arrived around 7pm so we had to take a super long walk in.

We stayed 3 nights to use it as a base to go Everland and KFV. The taxi fare is around Krw 12000 to visit Everland. There lots of gd small local restaurants around the hotel. We randomly picked restaurants throughout our stay and were never disappointed on both quality and prices. While the staff generally speak Korean, all did their best to help us with our orders. The hotel staff were helpful and we enjoyed our stay.
