When I go to Yeosu, I stay at Darakhyu, and the staff is friendly and the lounge is spacious, which is nice. In the past, breakfast was also provided, but this time it wasn’t available. Still, I enjoyed being able to have coffee and drinks. It's located right in front of Yeosu Expo Station, making it convenient to move around, and the sea view is great. I plan to book my stay at Darakhyu again next time I visit Yeosu.

Nothing to complain about the hotel, everything was good - comfortable, accessible, clean, friendly staff, spacious common areas. If you can, get the Ocean view room, it is worth the view. The interior design is very nice with seats and tables facing the sea. There are board games and small pool table , good for groups to play together. Loved the daily breakfast provided too, since this location is abit off from the city center and don't have food options readily available. About the area- Take note that most shops around there close early or don't open at all. This part of Yeosu seems to be in decline and underused. It is only 5mins walk to Yeosu Expo KTX/train station which makes it easy to get around to Suncheon and back to Seoul.

Darak-hyu is so great. We chose our accommodation thinking we would just sleep and explore Yeosu. We invested in food and attractions rather than accommodation costs, but we are very satisfied even with the sleeping arrangements. To truly enjoy Yeosu, hotels are good, but Darak-hyu is also wonderful.^^

While looking for accommodation to attend the conference held at the Yeosu Convention Center, I ended up booking this place, which is close to Expo Station and the convention center. Since it's a capsule hotel, the rooms aren't very spacious, but it was perfect for me to spend time quietly alone. It's a five-minute door-to-door walk to the convention center event hall. From the ocean view room, I can see the ocean by crossing over to the hotel lounge, but since my room is visible from the lounge, I mostly kept the blinds down. Fortunately, I was in room 105 (the end room), which is higher up, so I encountered fewer people, but a colleague who stayed in room 103 said that when she opened the blinds to see the ocean in the morning, she accidentally made eye contact with a man having coffee in the lounge, and they were both flustered😅. According to another colleague who stayed in a non-ocean view room, she said it's so dark inside that it's hard to tell if it's morning or evening, and it felt suffocating, so the ocean view seems better after all😄. There is no trash can in the bathroom, so feminine products that can't be flushed must be brought back to the room to be disposed of, and there are no soap or hand wash provided, which makes washing hands a bit inconvenient.

“Nice capsule hotel but slightly overpriced ”
The hotel is clean and the 'capsule' rooms are spacious for a 'capsule' room. The bed is also very comfortable. However for nearly 100,000won a night, I would have expected at least a little fridge in the room. This is not a problem with the hotel but rather the convention centre the hotel is located in. All the escalators are blocked off and unusable so you have to walk around until you find the correct elevator for that block.
