Great Beach Getaway The location is fantastic, right by the beach, making it perfect for relaxation. The garden area is beautifully maintained, providing a lovely atmosphere. Wi-Fi is reliable, and hot water is consistently available, which adds to the comfort. However, sleep quality could be improved, and shopping options nearby are limited. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, enhancing the overall experience at this property.
Swimming pool and facilities was fine but unfortunately the toilet got no hanging place for towels n clothing. Breakfast was too simple n got no variety ,and the walkaway was not proper clean.monkey shit could be seen on the floor.water pressure at swimming pool toilet was too slow . The facilities could be improved but overall it was just fine .kids was happy with the pool.
The hotel is in a great location, just a short walk to the beach. The surroundings are spacious, clean, and absolutely beautiful — perfect for a relaxing stroll. The air is fresh and calming, far from the hustle and bustle of the city. Truly a peaceful getaway. Would definitely come again!

Resort location is too far in, Grab services not available (food & transport). Foodpanda is available, thank God. Staff were helpful, friendly & knowledgeable. For those without a car, to get around Desaru you can ask the reception for the taxi service. We got Encik Wahid, very friendly & trustworthy. Rates were reasonable too. Breakfast, not that bad. Nasi lemak with hard boiled egg, ikan bilis, hotdogs, fried beehoon, mee soto, plain porridge, cornflakes & chocolate cereal, toast bread with butter/kaya, epok-epok, steamed cupcakes & fruits. Cleanliness of the resort were okay, perhaps need some upgrading or changes ie: tv remote doesn’t have the battery cover, toilet walls need some scrubbing, room wardrobe & hangers need replacement, bedsheet & duvet cover getting thin (there were tiny holes), room doors need a good wipe or replace it entirely. Pools were okay, the slides have seen better days but kids had fun regardless. There were some monkeys around as well, so do as the signboard says, “No outside food or drinks”. Otherwise, it’ll attract them and they can be pretty fast in snatching it away. The monkeys come in huge numbers, about twenty plus if we were to gauge. Can’t really do much about it as the jungle is just right beside the resort. And just beside the pool area, you could see the local seafood restaurant (Balau Seafood). You just need to walk out the side gate. Portions were generous, tasty & reasonably priced. There’s also a burger stall serving deer, ostrich meat apart from the usual beef, chicken & lamb. If you do have time, do stop by the Tanjung Balau Stable. It’s right in-front of the resort’s entrance. You can ride on the horse carriage (RM 50 for 4 adults), horse ride (RM 10 for 1 person/RM 15 for 1 adult & 1 child on the same horse), horse feeding (RM 5). Overall, the resort’s location may be away from the usual attractions (Fruit Farm, Mini Zoo, etc) but it has its own charm.
