Awesome staff and manager and great location”
I highly recommand this place for everyone who wants to see Chiang Mai and who wants to stay at a nice hotel. That is such a lovely place in Chiang Mai. The hotel is directly located in the old city and everything can be reached by foot. There are some restaurants and cafés close by and finding breakfast was easier. They also have a nice pool and the rooms are very nice, clean and quite large. But the best thing at the hotel was the super friendly stuff. I went there with my brother and he had an bycicle accident and the manager gave us a ride to the airport eventhough it was Songkran and the whole city was crowded. But not just the manager was super friendly the whole staff was nice and welcoming. I really enjoyed our stay at Estia Chiang Mai and I had a great time. Thank you again for the nice time and the help.

Family suite perfect for my group!”
Stayed at Estia Chiang Mai for 4 days and stayed in their Family Suite! Very welcoming staff and atmosphere in the heart of the Old City, food and amenities (including pharmacies) were within walking distance, and Chiang Mai Airport (CNX) is a short distance from the hotel. I highly recommend Estia Chiang Mai for first-time travelers and larger groups who require or enjoy modern amenities. The hotel has an elevator for those with limited mobility for easier access and it is a known accommodation so taxi/songthaew drivers know where to pick-up and drop-off your party.

First choice”
Initially booked three nights as we were not sure of the area. So taken by Chiang mai old city and our accommodation so decided to stay longer. Estia was fully booked for one of our extended nights so reception found us a room nearby but told us we could continue to use their pool at no additional cost. Although the decor may be a little dated the cleanliness and everything else fully made up for this. So instead of initial 3 nights we stayed for 6. Our last 10 nights we had to find another hotel as sadly Estia was understandably fully booked, yet again reception told us we could use their pool anytime, no fee. Now that's what I call service and all with their ever present smiles. Would come back any day!!!

Excellent little boutique hotel”
Estia Chiang Mai Hotel is a great place to stay. Located in the middle of the Old City, it's within walking distance to all attractions and transport. Sunday night Walking Market at your doorstep. The staff are welcoming and friendly. The rooms are old style, clean and comfortable. I loved my time at the Estia and would definitely stay again.

Great value for the rooms and central location”
My parents and I enjoyed our stay at Estia Chiang Mai Hotel, which is located in the middle of Chiang Mai's Old City, with major attractions within walking distance, as well as plenty of dining, shopping, and entertainment options. It makes for the perfect base to explore the city.

Happy to return”
Great place in a very good location. Yes, there is a school across the lane that is a bit on the noise side, but it isn't really an issue until after 7.45, and only if you are on the street side of the hotel. Guys its Asia, noise is just part of daily live here. Pool, although not huge, was clean and plenty of towels. We came back to Chiang Mai after a tour up north and were happy to come back to stay at this hotel. They don't serve breakfast, but the rooms are cheap enough, and heaps of choices to eat at either end of the lane make this a non issue. Bang for you buck in Chiang Mai, in this location, Estia is hard to beat.

Very comfortable central location in the Old City”
We were pleasantly surprised with our stay at the Estias. Its on a quiet little lane (soi 6) off of Rachadamnern so its very close to the Sunday Walking Street market. Its location is great for visiting all the Wats, Museums, Monuments etc... Since this hotel was recently renovated all the amenities (i.e. beds, sheets, pillows, towels, bathroom fixtures, A/C with a remote that actually works, flatscreen TV ....) are in very good condition. The owners / staff were very friendly and attentive to all our needs / requests. This included arranging a private taxi for visiting some out of town sites at a very reasonable price. Our only complaint would be that connecting to the free local WiFi was a bit iffy; we had a 75-25 % success rate. Other than that minor glitch we very much enjoyed our stay here and will most likely stay at this hotel again when we return to Chiang Mai.

Great Place in Old City Chiang Mai”
We enjoyed our stay at the Estia Hotel. The staff were very kind and helpful. Very good location in the center of Chiang Mai's Old City. Many restaurants, beautiful temples and shopping are within walking distance. The weekly Sunday night market is also very near. The hotel location is also quiet being tucked just down a small alley / soi. The small pool is nice for cooling off.

Clean and well located hotel”
This is a very good choice for a hotel in the old historic district of Chian Mai. This hotel is located on a quiet side street and you don't hear traffic and city sounds. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the baths are well designed with a separate shower area. The hotel has a small pool area to sun or swim. This is a very good choice for staying in Chiang Mai.

Very nice hotel”
We loved it! The staff was very helpful and friendly, the room was big and clean. The location is superb, it's just in the centre of the old city but not facing the main street so it's quiet. We arrived on Sunday and there is a big market at night so we didn't have to walk anywhere far to get all the nice local food and souvenirs. The museums and temples and the monument is just around the corner. We asked the hotel to arrange car for us to go and see the temple in the mountains and the King's palace and the Zoo - they did it and it was such value for money! The Internet is fast which also helps a lot. The breakfast was not included but they have tea/coffee facilities and a toaster and some fruits in the morning for free. The swimming pool is small but it was still so much fun for the kids to refresh themselves after a tiring day. Will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends!

Home away from home”
We had a wonderful time in Chiang Mai and appreciated the friendly and helpful, if sometimes language-challenged, staff. No breakfast, unfortunately, and only instant coffee... not to our preference. But we loved being there, meeting other guests, the location... Refigerator in the room a plus - and good prices on the minibar items.

Comfortable for the most part”
This is a good value centrally located hotel. The staff are friendly, the rooms have all the essentials and the hotel is kept clean. However, the rooms are a little on the small size, as is the swimming pool, but it is big enough to have a bit of a swim in. There was a problem once or twice getting back into the hotel late at night due to locked doors and sleeping security guards. However, after speaking to the manager this got sorted out. All in all though a good choice for a few days in Chiang Mai.

Nice hotel in the historic area of Chiang Mai”
Esttia Chiang Mai is a basic but nice hotel in the historic area of Chiang Mai. It is on a side street off of the major road that connects two of the gates in the old historic area of CM. It is in a quiet location and has clean rooms. There is an elevator and an outdoor pool area in back. It is close to restaurants and bars but does not offer a full breakfast. It does provide tea, coffee and toast in the morning. This hotel is very centrally located for the old section and is a good value.

the host and the staff are so kind”
I unfortunately got a cold during my vacation. The host is so so so nice to me that she made my breakfast with porridge and soy milk. My friends and parents in China are also touched after hearing my experience in Estia. Highly recommended!
