First time to book with this hotel. I took a chance since the # of reviews weren't high but it seemed the people were satisfied with their stay. I couldn't be happier. The room was very clean, aircon was cold and bathroom had a bidet. The staff were very courteous and helpful especially Ate Arlene who was manning the front desk. The front entrance has a sink were you can wash your hands and an area were you can also wash off the sand in your feet and body if you've just come from the beach. We only booked the regular room so it didnt have a fridge but they let us put our drinks and left over food in the staff fridge. They also let you borrow a hair dryer if you need it. Its a located right next to the D' Mall wet market, very near Jaspers, Budget Mart and a 5min walk to the beach. 100% convenient. Will definitely book here again.

I came there alone and rented the dormitory. I was surprised that I was alone and it was so clean and neat. The staffs are one call away and on top of that very friendly and easy to talk to. I feel so comfortable on my stay plus the room was so clean. It’s near Dmall ! However not so close to the beach yet still walking distance.

A perfect combination of everything! Me and my partner wanted to book a hotel that is cheap but will still give us the best comfortability we are looking for. We wanted to spend our budget more on water activities. Fat Jimmy’s Hotel allowed us to do that! It has a great location. Everything is walking distance. It’s near restaurants like Jasper’s. It is also walking distance to the beach. The staff were very welcoming. They even allowed us to leave our bags even after our check out. It has a security guard. They prepared the room very well. The air conditioner was already on when checked in so it was really good to lie down and rest after 6 hours of traveling. The next time we come back, we are still booking Fat Jimmy’s. It contributed a lot in our great experience on the island.

Overall best value for money stay! again, you get what you pay for, but in the best way. Great location inside D'Mall, easy choices of food, desserts and snacks. 6 minute walk to white beach, less than a minute to main road for all e-trike needs Basically, everything you need for a good night's sleep is there, comfy bed, hot water, aircon, place to hang clothes privately. Only troubles: Drinking water upon request only No Smart signal in room, wifi not reachable also (room 102). Globe signal great. Staff was great also. Highly highly recommended if you're planning to Boracay for the island, and just need a comfortable, convenient, but cost effective place to stay :)
Big on tidiness and customer service”
PROS: the front desk personnel who are all willing to help and share tips on how to enjoy Boracay more; the friendly cat roaming around the property with a bell tied around its neck; and the general cleanliness and liveliness of each space. I read one or two comments about the waste disposal facility you'll pass by when approaching Fat Jimmy's, and I'm happy to report that no stench invaded my nostrils. I wondered if the previous concerns/complaints had already been addressed or if those guests, for some reason, had stopped right in front of the garbage bags, consumed all of the foulness, and ranted about it here. CONS: the random mini-fridge lodged under the desk of our room that seemed to have never been used or at least wiped its insides clean; the glass shelf above our bathroom sink that made toothbrushing and washing our faces difficult; and the noise in the middle of the night coming from the rowdy group staying in the adjoining room.
