The staff were efficient and responsive. When we had an issue with the door lock, assistance was provided quickly. We also appreciated how accommodating the team was during peak Christmas dinner hours—despite the crowd, our à la carte order was handled smoothly and professionally. That said, there are a few areas where improvements would make the experience even better: Waterpark entry process: The entrance from the hotel to the Desaru waterpark could be more efficient. The current manual verification (checking tickets one-by-one and confirming add-ons) creates unnecessary queueing. An online pre-check-in, QR code verification, or a faster scanning process would help a lot, especially during peak periods. Activities for families: It would be great to have more shared activities for adults and children. For example, some resorts (such as Hard Rock Hotel Penang) have a games room where both adults and kids can spend time together. At the moment, the kids’ club feels limited to a narrower age group (around 4–11 years). Souvenir shop hours: If the souvenir shop could open earlier, guests could browse after breakfast before heading out for the day.
