Visited Curug Nangka several times but always went back home on the same day. This time, decided to stay overnight and chose to stay at Herman Lantang Camp because it is the closest to Curug Nangka and has very good reviews with many positive comments. The location is not far from the entrance ticket and you can park your vehicle below. The old parking area is near the food stalls (the new parking area is uphill and quite far, especially if you bring elderly people, it seems difficult to go up and down the steep stairs from the new parking area to Curug Nangka). For those who want to take macro photos, you don't need to go up too far. In the area of Herman Lantang Camp, there are many unique and rarely seen small animals. The service from the owner and staff here is very good. I even saw Oma Joyce often greeting and chatting with guests here in the evening while enjoying a bonfire and roasted corn. There were also 2 other groups, families with small children, and their children seemed happy to play in the playground inside Herman Lantang Camp.

HLC is great for family glamping, the staff, Teh Nur, is very nice and friendly, hopefully always healthy, Teh..🙏..unfortunately before entering HLC, we have to go to the Cunang National Park area, at the gate the guard asks for an entrance fee that does not match the one on the ticket, please pay more attention to other visitors, yesterday we didn't pay attention because it was our first time going there after years of not going...
easy camping near jakarta, pet friendly but beware of the monkeys”
we love the place for its modest, clean facilities and staff friendlieness towards pet,. we went there as a family wtich child and 3 dogs who are used to hike in the wild. every night they prepared a campfire and roasted corn. on the first night when it had rained and it was cold the bonfire was really super nice. the tends are okay, matrass, pillow and blanket. wc basic and running clean water. in general the property seems old and need some more attention, esp. the stilts i front of the tends and electricity machine that sounded alarm in the middle of the night. but this issue we sorted out next day. the waterfalls are nice short walk. whats annoying are the monkeys, apparently not friendly to dogs, but for that we requested a guide to accompany. other issue we had was with the people suddenly request extra parking fee when were about to leave the area. It was quite annoying, but thats also something common I heard. For us, the 2 nights were nice, and we'd love to come back again.

Great staff and food. Coffee machine was not in service, but still get free coffee. So many flies at around the tend, its kinda annoying. Also, there are dogs that should be in cage, not every visitor enjoying play with them, because wanted to stay clean and avoiding najis. Overall, great but should be improved!
