My stay so far, Stayed at a 4-star hotel that felt more like a solid 3-star in terms of facilities. The room itself was exactly as advertised in the photos, which was a relief and yes, as many have pointed out, it was perfectly clean. What truly stood out was the hospitality genuinely the best I’ve encountered so far. The staff were incredibly attentive and helpful throughout the stay, which made a big impact. Breakfast was included, but nothing to shout about. It did the job, but lacked variety or standout dishes. The view overlooked the edge of the city, which wasn’t as exciting as a city center view. A bit annoying having the aircond blower right outside the window too. On the plus side, parking was easy and well-secured with a guard on duty, so no worries there. All in all, while the facilities felt more 3-star, the service quality bumped it up. I'd rate it 3.3/5 rounded up to 4 for the hospitality alone. Just to note for travelers, although getting here can be a bit tricky, Google Maps is a great help, so you should be just fine!

The room is spacious and clean. The staff is helpful and friendly. Ample carpark and there is security for access to the hotel carpark. Mind is at ease about the security of the car. Breakfast is ok with local, Chinese and western food and the staff is efficient in clearing used plates We have an interconnecting room and could hear the noise of the children next door. There aren't any eateries nearby and need to drive out for food. Maybe shld set up a mini Mart in the hotel itself. The pillows are abit too hard for our liking. There are more pros then cons and I would stay again and recommend it to others.

I stayed one night at Hotel Tamara Melaka and was pleasantly surprised. The room was spacious and clean, with no musty smell, which made the stay comfortable right from the start. A unique feature is that the hotel shares an entrance with a residential condo, and security at the gate will ask for your car plate number upon entry. The hotel provides free parking, which is a big plus for those driving. Check-in was smooth,staff were friendly and courteous. There's no deposit required, though a small government fee (just a few ringgit) needs to be paid. The bathroom was impressively large, and the water pressure was strong, which I appreciated. One minor downside was the smell from the drainage system when the bathroom’s exhaust fan was on. However, we found a simple fix by placing the trash bin over the floor drain, which significantly reduced the odor. We didn’t try the hotel’s breakfast, though we heard it’s good. Instead, we took a short walk to a nearby commercial area and had breakfast at a local spot called Hainan Kitchen, famous for its chicken rice balls .definitely recommend! In summary, I had a pleasant stay and would happily return to Hotel Tamara the next time I visit Melaka.
