    “Location, Location, Location”

    My wife and I spent a quick 4 nights in Nice, and our stay at Hotel Univers only added to the wonderful experience. It's a simple hotel, but whatever it might be lacking in on-site facilities is made up for by its location. A short walk from Old Town. A Short walk to the beach. Very convenient to the train that takes you to/from the airport for 1.70 Euro. The staff is extremely kind. Breakfast is decent, if a bit expensive ... but probably not when compared to the other offerings in town. All in all Hotel Univers is a fantastic property in a fantastic city.

    “Great for short stay!”

    Nice hotel! Clean, cozy. Best location you can get in Nice - close to beach, tram to airport and tram to train station. Pillows can be more comfortable but ok for short stay

    The hotel boasts an unbeatable location and serves an very good breakfast. However, the stay was slightly let down by the bed, which I found to be a bit too small and overly soft for a comfortable night's sleep.
