"for our first year wedding anniversary, my wife decided to book us a hotel in intramuros so that we can tour around the place and get to know our country's history a little better. we went around fort santiago first before checking in the hotel. when we got to bayleaf, we were greeted warmly by the courteous staff and were brought to our room after signing at the front desk. the room was big enough for a two people. there was a complimentary bottled water and instant coffee. i love the view of our hotel as it overlooks the manila city hall and the golf course in intramuros. the linen smelled good and everything else was tidy. i think the best thing about the hotel is the staff who were very helpful. when we were about to go out for dinner, one of the hotel attendants overheard us talking about it and offered to get a cab for us. and whenever they saw us, they always greeted us with a smile. the only downside is that the wifi was slow. i couldnt een connect to the internet. but we didnt ask for help about it, though we know they'd gladly sort the technical problem out. all in all, our stay was awesome and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay when getting around intramuros.
