Hotels near Crocodile Island

This has been the best hotel we have been to up until now and we have only stayed in 5 stars before this. The Kids Club is just amazing. It's not like any other clubs in the other 5 star hotels, it is as huge as a gymnasium and next door is the Entertainment Center which has plenty plenty activities for adults and teens. The food was great but pricy but what do you expect, it's one of the best hotels in the world! Also I have never seen the such a great breakfast buffet ever, the french toast are to die for!!! They had different variety everyday, we stayed for a week. After being to Shangrila, we have decided to always stay at a Shangrila because they just spoil you too much, you can never go back to staying at the other 5 stars...They have free shuttle going to and back to white beach stations every hour on time but after going there I wasn't very impressed, I like our secluded beach areas better in front of the hotel, there is 1/2km stretch of beach on the left side of the hotel which is completely secluded. The water is so pleasant and clean, I usually never go in the ocean but her I was in it for an hour, love the soft waves... If you are going in rainy or low season, you will NOT want to stay anywhere else, the beach here is much better than the famous white beach, if you want to go there, just take the free shuttle, it only takes about 10 minutes to get there, you can spend the whole day there and most hotels don't have private beaches on the Stations because its not allowed.

We got this on a Deal in agoda for a very low price. I wasn’t expecting how big the room is. The breakfast is very good, the staff are polite and very accommodating. The location of the Hotel in the Island is good since they provide free shuttle going to Puka beach and also to City Mall which is a gateway to other parts of the Island (via Trycicle). We thought at first that booking on this hotel would be a hassle going to Stations 1-3, but we were wrong. We stayed on Boracay for a week and we only book two days in this hotel. The other days we chose a hotel near the beach which costs the same but was 2/5 overall compared to Alta Vista de Boracay Hotel. If we knew how easy it is to go to the Beach from hotel, we wished that we just booked all week long of our stay. If given the chance at the same low price, we will absolutely stay at this hotel again on our next visit to Boracay. Although one thing I didn’t like was the intermittent and slow Internet via their free Wifi.

We had MASSIVE issues booking this hotel with Agoda it took at least 12 attempts. It was one of the best deals so we really wanted it but it was a very frustrating first experience. We wanted it because it had free airport transfers & with 2 kids & 6’5 husband i didn’t want to ride in a trike or tuk tuk. I had seen that this hotel tries to add on expenses so I was prepared & they did. They tried to say the room booked was not for 2 children even though it clearly said it on the booking, they tried to make us upgrade! Then we could not get the ATM at the resort to work which was annoying as we had to take a shuttle to the mall which they organised for us which was really nice. I also tried multiple times to get a massage at the spa but could not which was frustrating as I spent so much time trying to get it. I ended up getting one outside the hotel which was AWESOME & I got to share it with my son. The food was AMAZING & the staff are some of the best I have encountered though so.......

I can’t get enough of this hotel! This was our first time in Boracay and we couldn’t have chosen a better hotel to stay in. From the entrance, to travelling to the city, and to their private beach, everything was smooth sailing. Don’t forget the scrumptious free breakfast. Everyday there’s a new menu. The staff is super nice and very friendly. Rooms are adequately spacious and clean. Overall rating for the hotel would be 10/5 stars if I could give it. Robbie, who was a staff/driver was very helpful. He told us that they accommodated transfers to their own private beach, to which we were not even aware of. Would definitely recommend this hotel for families and couples. Will, of course, book this place again in the future. It’s a quiet, secluded and security guarded place. Never felt more safe. Also, the mountains and beach backdrop is beautiful!

For those of you wanting to be close to the beach, d'mall, parties, and clubs, this may not be the hotel for you. If you came to relax, get away from it all, or maybe spend some time with that special someone, Hotel Soffia is perfect. A free shuttle moves guests between the hotel and d'mall hourly, and just about everything else is a short walk or cheap tricycle ride away from d'mall. The rest of the island is so packed and busy that a little seclusion seemed like a nice way to experience the island. Hotel grounds include beautiful gardens, scenic vistas, small but acceptable infinity pool, indoor/outdoor dining, a small koi pond, and more. Stayed in a few rooms across different visits, and I found them all to be clean, large, and modern. One exception is the "Casita" units which seem to have problems with mold/mildew and ants. Very friendly, attentive, personable, and hard-working staff. I even took the time to inform the management about how pleased I was with the hotel and staff. The food and drink selection is great but a bit pricey even by local standards. Buffet breakfast is small selection but good quality, delicious, clean, and well-prepared. The TVs in the rooms are very small ... But did you really want to watch a lot of TV in Boracay? All in all, I absolutely LOVED this hotel and would stay again and again ... as long as they keep up the 50% discount promo ;-) Otherwise, the full price point starts to lose value quickly.
