"The hotel is new and therefore very clean with very nice and clean parking as well. The water pressure was unexpectedly high, even on the 7th floor, and the hot water worked fine as well. All the staff, starting from the porter, the parking guard, the reception team until the room service were very friendly and helpful. The free WiFi had decent signal strenght inside the room. The Samsung flat screen TV was brand new and had the biggest size we ever experienced in a hotel. The location is great: Walking distance only to China Town and Divisoria Market. Also Intramuros is only a short walk away. Due to that fact, expect a bit shady neighbourhood but inside the hotel you will not notice that. It is quiet and you will feel perfect safe. Tips to improove: - Even tough our room was strictly non-smoking, we were incommodated by a strong smoke odor coming from the ventilation system in the CR. - If you would put complimentary water and instant coffe/tea alongside the provided kettle and add spoons to the provided mugs the guests would be very thankful. - Our fellow travellers had a minor issue upon check-out: The crew noticed a minor stain on one of their towels and wanted to charge them a cleaning fee."

"a great value for the price and one of the best hotels in this area of manila. the staff members were always quick to answer questions and offer their services. everything you'd expect of a four-star hotel. the room was quiet and the beds were very comfortable. the hotel is located close enough to divisoria that you can shop all day and not worry about traveling too far with all of your packages. dining choices in the area are limited though unless you enjoy a lot of fast food. the hotel restaurant is quite nice but has a rather limited menu. i will definitely be staying here again when my wife and i visit manila in the future."

But being near these areas mean that the streets outside the hotel are dirty, which is understandable given the foot traffic there. The staff is friendly and accommodating. They are helpful and warm. It’s common for them to respond with a higher price, which allows you to continue the back-and-forth until a mutually agreeable price is reached.
