Location of the Hotel is strategy where is nearby to Hoi An Old Town about 200+meter, beside the hotel is Korea Mart and restaurants, coffee shop and some others hotel. Hotel staffs all very friendly and helpful, make you feels welcome and comfortable. Hotel manager is professional, speak influence English and provide all travel tips for this Hoi An Holiday. Others staffs also can speak well English and always smile to the guest, this make us feels welcome. Hotel facilities is looks classic design but very clean, it's complete with the warm water swimming pool, gym room , spa and restaurant . I was very enjoy with their swimming pool, there are under cover and big enough to swim. The water is warm, so you will not feels cold for the night swim or raining season. My booking room is also big and clean, good design, comfortable bed, good lightning. Restaurant food also tasty , buffet breakfast is various choose, but more to the Vietnamese local food. Overall experience is fantastic.

After a few days spent looking for a hotel in Hoi An I kept coming back to this little hotel by the river not just because of its location but also the hotel decor that gave me the nostalgia feeling of coming back to the past. Well, the hotel did not disappoint. Beautiful decorations with wood trim and old style bedside phone and night stand. Walking into the room making me feel I have just gone back to the 90s. the room has a beautiful scent that I have never seen in the other 2 4stars and 5 stars hotels Danang where we stayed previously. First impression that I made the right choice. The location is very close to Hoi An old town and night market, you could walk, or the hotel staff are nice enough to let you borrow their bicycles with no charges. Speaking of the staff here, Nina, Ngoc, July are so full of energy and fun they make you feel like family. They even made me a surprise birthday cake! if next time we come back here, definitely gonna stay at this hotel again!

I booked 8 rooms at Vinh Hung Riverside Resort for Dec 30 and 31, 2012 for our multi-family party of ~20 persons. Below is a summary of my experience: • Good location; on small, quiet street a short distance away from the old town • Riverfront and has excellent view of the river • Staff provided freshly squeezed juices while we waited for check in process • Front desk staff and management very accommodating and customer focused. Nothing pleased everyone in our traveling party during our Vietnam trip… except this resort. It pleased even the most critical person in our party. This was the best hotel stay and a highlight of our 3-week Vietnam trip. I highly recommend Vinh Hung Riverside Resort without hesitation! • Beautiful grounds and layout. In the middle is an outdoor pool. • The restaurant is large, nicely decorated, has outdoor tables overlooking the river and provides a beautiful view of the river • Our rooms were large, comfortable, with an old-world, antique look and feel. • The room has AC, a safe, coffee, wifi (somewhat slow). Bed was large and comfortable • Breakfast buffet was stunning in its wide range of food items to choose – both western and Vietnamese foods – and in its elegant arrangement. We sat outside to eat our breakfast the first morning and enjoyed the view of the river • Complimentary samples of local cuisine in the courtyard in front of the restaurant daily from 4-5 PM. The foods were excellent • Bike rental business in front of resort which was very convenient for us. I recall the rental rate being 25,000 dong a day per bike.

We arrived at Vinh Hung after a week of noise, pollution, heavy traffic and restless nights: looking forward for a relaxing few days in hopefully lovely, sophisticated Hoi An. We were instantly feeling relaxed, welcomed and at home walking into the quiet, dimly lit, dark-timber and red-lanterned 200+ years old house of Vinh Hung. Thin checked us in in a friendly, relaxed manner, complete with hot green tea, some chit-chat, some info about the place and Hoi An. Our suite was a long room with dark, wide, polished floorboard with a queen and double bed, beautiful and simple, air-conditioning, with marble-floored bathroom and toilet area separated by carved timber sliding doors. As we were in the middle of Ancient Town, after dinner-time became quiet and peaceful with occasional local domestic-life noises and scents. We had the most comfortable sleeps here and woke up refreshed to enjoy a lovely spread of Asian and Western variety of buffet style breakfast, with attentive, chatty and friendly but not overly lingering staff. The Ancient Town in its glory days was well imaginable sipping hot Vietnamese coffee at Vinh Hung on those comfy deep, low-legged Chinese-style wooden chairs. This building, we later found out, was so much better preserved and maintained than its other counterparts around this area. We're really grateful for the love and foresight dedicated to keeping this place beautiful, traditional and full of human life. Thanks everyone at Vinh Hung.

Jasmine checked us in to the hotel, and she was extremely helpful throughout our entire stay! It was a pleasure meeting her, and she helped recommend a good, reasonably priced way to visit My Son during our time in Hoi An. The hotel was beautiful and the rooftop pool had a great view of Old Town! The night market was a 2-3 minute walk away. Taxis had a very hard time getting to or from the front door. You will have to walk beyond Old Town if you want a taxi at night, and even then it was hard to get one. Best to just stick to things within walking distance.

This is quite a story: I booked a dormitory room at a hotel upon arrival in Hoi An. When I arrived the reception yesterday, I asked them what bed number am I assigned? And she said no you are the only one in the room but I said I took a shared room online. Then she insisted that I have like a standard room. So I thought I was moved to another room. Then had some biking around the city and decided to back in the hotel for breakfast. The staff approached me and said "I need to tell you about your booking" then I stopped her because I don't wanna be disturbed in my eating. I said can you let me finish first? I'll talk to you later after I'm done with my breakfast. After that I went to reception and said what was that again about my reservation? The lady said I was in the wrong room. At first, I knew that it was gonna be a dispute. Then I was thinking if I'm going to fire-up or taking it calm. Then, politely I explained everything what happened yesterday. I was so impressed with reception for admitting their fault. She said it was not my fault and whether I pay it or not it is okay. It is just happened that I have no extra budget left and later I'll be traveling down south to Da Lat and back to Saigon in few days. I highly recommend this Golden River Hotel to everyone. The staff were great and the room is complete and comfortable. Plus I admire the value for customer service. Sometimes life is like a mirror what you showed to others will reflect back to you, so keep calm and drink Viet coffee (with ice and milk please!) 😉 Highly recommended to everyone visiting Hoi An.❤️

I stayed here for two days. My room number was 404. and it was in the corner of the top floor. so it was quiet and comfortable. king-size bed mattresses are good in performance and very spacious. it's near Hoi-An night market and very close to the old town. The staff is very friendly and breakfast is also good. I had a relaxing rest for two days at 70000 won including a breakfast. I thank my kind staff who made a page of my memory.

This hotel is in a great location for those looking to stay within close proximity to the Hoi An old town. It's a short walk across the bridge to reach all the restaurants and shops. We booked a Deluxe River View suite which was very well appointed and kept sparkling clean by staff each day, including the enormous sunken bathtub in the bathroom. The river view wasn't that much to look at, but since we spent most of our time walking through the old town that didn't really bother us. The room itself was lovely - very spacious - but probably a bit wasted on just the two of us, as there were two king/queen size beds in the room as well as a lounge area and bar and a little balcony that we simply never used. Would be great for a family though. Buffet breakfast was nice and the staff were helpful, although we did have some issues with the laundry service. We ended up waiting almost two days to get our laundry back and when we did, had a number of items missing that were never recovered during our stay. Probably not a problem for some, but when you're backpacking and travelling light those kinds of laundry delays and clothing losses can really put you in a bit of a pickle! All in all though, this was a pleasant place to stay and based on the room we stayed in I would certainly recommend it to families looking to stay close to town.

I loved the Pho Hoi 1 hotel. For $15 I had a spacious sunny room with windows looking out over my balcony to a lovely old , quiet lane. The room was clean, spacious, simply furnished and comfortable. The staff were so kind and helpful. Each night they brought me a flask of hot water so that I could make tea [you need to request this though]. The hotel is in the perfect location, just steps from the ancient town. There's no breakfast at the hotel, but I went to the Hoi An Roastery Coffee House around the corner and down a bit, at 135 Tran Phu Street for perfect coffee and pastries in a very cool setting. The hotel is also very quiet at night, so there's no problem with sleeping. Ming and the rest of the staff booked my tours at very fair prices. I will absolutely stay here again - it's simple but a really nice base for exploring Hoi An ancient town and the tons of great cafes there, as well as the ancient temple complex of 'My Son', and it's only 10 minutes by motorbike taxi to the beach.

Just off the main road, this hotel is literature right in the centre of Hoi An. All the main attractions, including the tailor shops, are within a 10 min bicycle ride from this hotel. The daytime male receptionist (Crazy is his nickname) is a cool bloke with a dry sense of humour. He looked after me for the two nights I was there. The night shift receptionist doesn't have the best English, but if you're a football fan he doesn't mind watching a bit of Champions League with you. For free breakfast, you have to get to Thanh Binh 3 Hotel, which is bit of a stroll (especially if you've had a bit to drink). That said, the breakfast there is quite a spread - bacon, omelette, jam, croissants, etc. Best free breakfast I had in Vietnam. The room was decent. For the price, I was happy with it. Hot water was spot on, the bed was comfortable, and the TV has 50 channels of Vietnamese-dubbed Korean soap for those so inclined. But seriously, the shower is separated from the toilet, and that's something an elitist Westerner like myself really appreciated. Overall, good price, super location, friendly receptionists, and a comfortable stay.

Softest bed so far in Vietnam, close to everything. Breakfast for a fee but get local food in restaurants that specialize in local HoiAn specialties close to DaNang and the Marble Mountains. Hardly anyone speaks English so download an app to communicate. Friendly staff, only room we stayed in that has power on when you leave the hotel...great for recharging power banks...great value for money being so close to the old quarter.
