Hotels near Hoi An Traditional Art Performance Theatre

We stayed at the Vinh Hung Emerald for 8 nights in March 2018. I cannot fault this hotel. Fabulously located in a quiet street close to the old town/night markets with beautiful grounds. The room was clean, modern and comfortable with good wifi. The hotel had a great variety of breakfast food with delicious/crispy bahn mi’s every morning and Vietnamese iced coffees on request. The swimming pool overlooking the river was a highlight – very peaceful and perfect for relaxation. Towels were provided and there were plenty of sun lounges to go around. Good value happy hour at the poolside bar from 11am-4pm with 2 for 1 cocktails (99,000 dong) and 2 for 1 fruit shakes (79,00 dong) . The hotel serves complimentary afternoon tea every day at 4pm on the lawn by the river – I was too full to partake most days, but it was an appreciated extra. The hotel also offers a complimentary 45 minute boat ride on the river. All staff were friendly/helpful and called us a metered taxi when we wanted to visit An Bang beach (approx. 82,000 dong each way). Mrs Ha opposite the hotel offers laundry services for US$1/kilo and also sells drinks/snacks. There are countless massages places nearby – please note that bargaining is expected for massages in Hoi An. The hotel also has a gym and massages/spa; however, I did not use these facilities. Overall, the Vinh Hung Emerald ticks all the boxes and is highly recommended. I can’t wait to stay here again if I return to Hoi An.

Stop searching for a hotel in Hoi An! You've already found it!! We've travelled from South to the north and this absolutely is the best hotel in Vietnam. Why? Let me tell you: 1. Decor and style: it's a colonial style hotel that expresses in essence word "boutique". Increadibly charming and gives you that unique experience of Vietnam 2. Location: fantastic - 3 min walking from the center and all there is in Hoi An, but at the same time out of Main Street, so it's not noisy 3. Service: outstanding. In 2 days that we stayed they learned our names, were very helpful and attentive without getting into our space. Dressed in beautiful traditional outfits. Pleasure to spend time there.

I chose this hotel because of the good reviews on Agoda(so many hotels in Hoi An!) and I was not disappointed! First of all, the rooms are great. King size comfy bed, all conforts of a five star room and spacious bathroom. Breakfast is served in a nice enviroment on the ground floor, even if I could not say that is opulent, you will not step out hungry. The location in a way is excellent. Jut a few hundred meters from the Japanese Bridge and all the action, in a quiet spot still under development. But what amazed me most wast the positive attitude of the staff. When I checked out, they asked me where I was going and when they learnt that I was heading up to a resort nearby (at walking distance) they even offered me to take me there and carry my luggage. I politely refused since I knew my way around, but this was enough to impress me. I will certainly go back next time I stay in Hoi An

After researching a number of places to stay in Hoi An, I ultimately chose the Vinh Hung Riverside. I was a bit nervous at first, as locally owned hotels can be hit or miss. But I'm pleased to say that this one was definitely a "hit"! The rooms are traditional yet comfortable. The pool was a refreshing retreat in the afternoon after a morning spent walking through the old town or riding bikes to the beach. The location is just a short walk to the old town. The breakfast is standard buffet, with the usual selection of western and local foods, plus an egg and noodle station. But the great rating is on account of the "extras", such as the very friendly and helpful staff (I was always greeted with a smile and "good morning" from the staff), the daily "Country market" where local foods are on offer gratis, plus the boat from the resort to the old town. Great wifi too. The resort really offers tremendous value for money! Why not a five-star review? The resort doesn't pretend to be such, which would require an infinity pool, pillow menu, the latest tempurpedic mattresses and 660 count bed linens -- all at commensurate rates. The Hoi An area offers plenty of such establishments for those so inclined. If you're looking for nice place with a staff eager to please and great value for very affordable rates, the Vinh Hung Riverside is the place.

This is the 1st time I stayed in a 200-yr old property. It was well-kept & clean. It was value for money as it comes with free 30-min foot massage, 1hr boat ride and even dinner (home-cooked Vietnamese meal!). The staff are friendly & the guests are free to use any swimming pools in other Vinh Hung hotels in Hoi An. But be prepared for bikes honking & bustling crowds if you stay in the room facing the street.

Jasmine checked us in to the hotel, and she was extremely helpful throughout our entire stay! It was a pleasure meeting her, and she helped recommend a good, reasonably priced way to visit My Son during our time in Hoi An. The hotel was beautiful and the rooftop pool had a great view of Old Town! The night market was a 2-3 minute walk away. Taxis had a very hard time getting to or from the front door. You will have to walk beyond Old Town if you want a taxi at night, and even then it was hard to get one. Best to just stick to things within walking distance.

I have stayed in many good hotels in Hoi An over the last eight years but this one is now, officially, my new favourite! Tucked just down a lane but near to most of Hoi An's attractions, this hotel offers a room with quality fittings, big and clean bathroom and a high quality bed. Wonderfully helpful staff topped of a most satisfying short stay. We have been living in Da Nang for the last three months and this the hotel I will return to when next in Hoi An.

I stayed here for two days. My room number was 404. and it was in the corner of the top floor. so it was quiet and comfortable. king-size bed mattresses are good in performance and very spacious. it's near Hoi-An night market and very close to the old town. The staff is very friendly and breakfast is also good. I had a relaxing rest for two days at 70000 won including a breakfast. I thank my kind staff who made a page of my memory.

one of my colleagues and i decided to escape the chaos of hcmc for the weekend and decided to head to hoi an for the weekend. this was a last minute trip and i had heard about this hotel from a friend who had stayed here with his girlfriend. they both loved the hotel and when we arrived we were not disappointed. we had arranged for transport from them the airport and the trip from the airport to the hotel went very smoothly. the staff were very courteous. we loved the room we had on the ground floor next to the pool. the room was a great size for the price and was very clean. the bathroom was also much larger than most hotels. i loved that the room had a divider in the middle. my friend is an early riser and the room worked out perfectly as she was able to get up early in the morning and fool around on the computer and drink tea, while i slept. we also enjoyed the breakfast that was served on the first floor with a view of the river. this hotel is located right across from the famous japanese bridge and in a quiet section of the city. it is 5-7 minute drive into the center of town, but that was fine with us, as we were happy to ride the bicycles that the hotel provides. we had all ready booked another more expensive hotel for the three other days that we stayed in hoi an (before we booked this hotel), but if i were to go back to hoi an, i would definitely stay here again.

I loved the Pho Hoi 1 hotel. For $15 I had a spacious sunny room with windows looking out over my balcony to a lovely old , quiet lane. The room was clean, spacious, simply furnished and comfortable. The staff were so kind and helpful. Each night they brought me a flask of hot water so that I could make tea [you need to request this though]. The hotel is in the perfect location, just steps from the ancient town. There's no breakfast at the hotel, but I went to the Hoi An Roastery Coffee House around the corner and down a bit, at 135 Tran Phu Street for perfect coffee and pastries in a very cool setting. The hotel is also very quiet at night, so there's no problem with sleeping. Ming and the rest of the staff booked my tours at very fair prices. I will absolutely stay here again - it's simple but a really nice base for exploring Hoi An ancient town and the tons of great cafes there, as well as the ancient temple complex of 'My Son', and it's only 10 minutes by motorbike taxi to the beach.

This little place is marvelous, I say 'little' because it has only a few rooms, but the rooms themselves are spacious and charming. There were no breakfasts included, or any food at all for that matter, but this was a blessing in disguise as there are so many great places to eat in Hoi An and the best food is served at breakfast time. Just across the road on the corner you can get a fantastic bahn mi from the street vendor, in fact you can't go far without seeing irresistible street food in this gastronomic paradise. We got a front room upstairs with a communal balcony, a great place to sit and have a beer while the sun sets, or to observe the morning rituals on the street below. The staff here were amazing, the most homely place we had on our trip, we ended up staying an extra 3days. Hope this gem doesn't change, we'll be back one day.

Softest bed so far in Vietnam, close to everything. Breakfast for a fee but get local food in restaurants that specialize in local HoiAn specialties close to DaNang and the Marble Mountains. Hardly anyone speaks English so download an app to communicate. Friendly staff, only room we stayed in that has power on when you leave the hotel...great for recharging power banks...great value for money being so close to the old quarter.
