"The hotel itself was fantastic, although check-in procedure felt like a big hassle to me. Especially because I hate using self check-in machine, and some staff seems to have limited English skill. The room itself was small, just like typical Japanese Hotel, and what I like the most is the big TV screen and the view. If you are lucky, you will get room with best view of Yokohama Bay. As for facilities, the hotel have public bath on the 4th floor along with convenience store next to it."

"This is the second time we've stayed here and where we will stay in the future. Let's start at the beginning. The staff is excellent. They speak excellent english and are very helpful. There is a convenience store in the lobby which comes in very handy. The rooms are small, but normal by Japan standards. The bed is comfortable. The heating/AC works well. The view of the bay is fantastic. The best part of the hotel is it is located directly next to Sakuragicho subway station. This allows easy access to all of Yokohama and Tokyo. It is also a very short walk to the Minato Mirai subway line. This is the line running along the waterfront, making for easy access to the main tourist attractions. For this area of Yokohama the price for a room can't be beat. Most places are at least double the cost and anything comparable is a long walk from anything to do in Yokohama. It's an easy decision."

"New stylish chain hotel with comfortable positioning of room equipment, many delicious fresh choices for breakfast, fruits, many green different leaves, Japanese desserts..., Just at the train station entrance. Silent aircon, possible very hot comfortable temperature, asked for floor to ceiling window 👍, but from building position not all rooms seem to have clear view for near buildings."

"Hotel located within walking distance of JR Kannai Station. The good part is the multitude of restaurants nearby, some which stay open till late. The room is the standard APA hotel room; small but it contains everything, including a large TV screen. It happened to be available at a good room rate, so I booked for one night, more like a transit stop on a train trip."

"Great location if you are traveling by train as hotel is only two minutes walk. It is a ten minute walk to the famous Chinatown, which is well worth visiting. Lots of competition so cheap to eat there. There are some museums and historical war sites eg, foreign. soldiers cemetary etc. It was a bit surprising that so few staff spoke English considering it is quite a large hotel.Nevertheless, they were very polite and helpful."

"We stayed here for 4 nights on 26 Dec 2016. The hotel was about 5 minutes by taxi from the main bus station. We took the taxi as we had luggage with us. The hotel is quite new and the rooms were very clean and neat despite being small. Everything worked and we were happy with the amenities in the room. There was also a humidifier in the room. We had chosen the 140 cm bedroom, which is a little tight for 2 adults but perfect for 1 adult and 1 child. Coffee was available on the lobby floor. If you book through their website and join the hotel membership, you can extend your check out time to 11am instead of the regular 10am. As for the location, it was walking distance to almost all the attractions. We walked everywhere and hardly took the train. We went to the Cupnoodles Museum, Chinatown, Minami Shopping District and the YCAT Terminal where there was more shopping. It was accessible to Kamakura where we went for a day trip. The subway is just outside the hotel. If you need to take the elevator, just walk right and you will find another train entrance. Cant fault Sotetsu Fresa and will not hesitate to stay here again if we were to visit Yokohama."

"We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel because it is directly linked to 2 shopping malls which mean that we didnt have to be exposed to the hot sun and rain during summer. Our main priority was to try out the different japanese cuisines and we were not disappointed. There are so many dining options in the two shopping malls which offer excellent japanese cuisine at very affordable prices. Ippudo was only SG$7-SG$10 compared to SG$20+ in Singapore. Like most hotels in Japan, the hotel does not provide bottled drinking water. So we had to buy them at the convenience store which is in the shopping mall just a short distance away from the hotel lobby. The view from the hotel was fantastic, we could see the ferris wheel, the recreation park and the habour. If the weather was good, we could have just walked around the habour which is so easily accessible from the hotel by foot. It was walking distance to the Nissan Cup Noodle factory where my kids enjoyed making their own cup noodles. The hotel room is spacious, pleasant and clean. The bed is very comfortable. It has a separate toilet, shower area and even a quite a large bath tub. The toilet seat is even heated! This hotel is great value for money and will highly recommend to anyone. I will stay at this hotel again if I returned to Yokohama."
