"The Rio Hotel and Casino proved to be an excellent choice for my fiancee and I. We stayed from the 25th to 29th October 2018. The reception area is impressive and provides a good first impression. I had booked a Deluxe room with daily breakfast and were told upon checking in that we had been allocated an extra large room. The combined area of the lounge/sleeping/bathroom area was huge, ( as big as an average 2 bedroom flat in Australia ) I was happy with the location of the Hotel as it was central to many of Macaus attactions ( almost at the base of Guia Lighthouse ) but not surrounded by other Hotels. There is gambling in the Hotel but we were there for the historic buildings, gardens and temples so I can not report on the gambling activities. On the 2 occasions I used the rooftop swimming pool in the late afternoon I had the facility to myself. "

"I booked a 1 night stay at Harbourview Hotel, Macau on March 22-23, 2019 to celebrate my birthday. Indeed, we had the best stay in Macau and the most unforgettable birthday salubong. The hotel is very nice and clean. Not to mention that the location is also very strategically located around the tourists distinations so very easy to go around the city. The staff are very accommodating to us. We were given the best service from toiletress to water to coffee. Especial thanks to the following staff: John Arnaiz, Jeffrey, Jed, Walter and Ms. Hannah from housekeeping for the warm hospitality. Iba talaga ang alagang pinoy! Until our next stay, Harbourview! "

"Hotel Royal is located away from the crowds, but still within walking distance (10 minute brisk walk) to the Ruins of St. Paul and about 15 minutes to Senado Square. Otherwise, board public bus #19 (MOP3.2) from a bus stop diagonally opposite the hotel (ask hotel front desk). Check in was a breeze and the friendly Filipina staff (Rose) at Reception was helpful to dispense advice on how to get around Macau and provide updates on the latest events (Dragon Boat festival) in town. Hotel is not within the hectic touristy areas, thus, it is relatively quiet, which we liked. The Vasco Da Gama Park (heavily concreted park with underground car park below) is directly in front of hotel. Thus, request for higher level rooms facing the park – unblocked views. We got to stay at the 17th (highest) storey, which offered fantastic views towards Zhuhai. Room is well appointed and neat. Although not big, it is sufficient to accommodate 2 guests ( three would be a real squeeze). Water pressure is strong and the air-con works. Bed is comfortable enough. One side of the bedside drawers had been tastefully modified into a coffee table – nice touch. LED TV has many channels (in several languages). There is a convenience store on the left of hotel (as you leave hotel) and several eateries on left and right of hotel. We discovered a night bazaar catering to budding artists and craftsmen at nearby Tap Seac Square. The lush Lou Lim Ieoc Gardens is within a 10 minute brisk walk. Location wise, it is ideal – quiet neighbourhood and yet within walking distance to the cultural areas. There is an in-house casino as well, but we did not patronize. There is a gym & indoor swimming pool at 3rd storey – ideal for swimming in privacy amidst a densely built up environment. Hotel provides free shuttle buses to & from the Main ferry terminal from Hong Kong (30 minute intervals) as well as a daily afternoon shuttle to Studio City in Cotai area (check timing with front-desk). I’ll probably stay here aga"

"Stayed along with my parents and it was amazing. From its design outside which is very palace like to the inside where in interior very much like leave up to the design outside. Inside is very luxurious and detailed, room is very spacious and the bed is really comfortable. My mom is shocked on how the television goes up from the cabinet, but the best of all from this hotel are the staff who not only serve us but also made sure that we will be able to have unforgettable stay as it is the 31st anniversary of my parents. From the moment we enter the hotel the front line staff Amad, greeted us and helped us on our luggage and led us to the front desk. Eva did the checking in which is fast and very professional she even greeted my parents a happy anniversary as soon as she knew it. Rose escorted us to the room, she told us all the hotel facilities and room amenities. Brian from the Concierge helped us with our luggage and provided some information in Macau. He also waited for us near the recreation to escort us to go to the lounge on eight. Lyn from the lounge on eight is very nice and engaging, the overall experience in the lounge on eight which is already very good is greatly enhanced because of her costumer engagement. Upon going out. Jury helped us on where to go, he gave us detailed information on which place to visit and which is very good place to go as my mom is having difficulty on walking. The room attendant, Sam, Dennis and Jonathan did a good job, service was really fast. Upon going to recreation Yumiko did a good job even we find it hard to communicate she tried her best to explain every facilities to us at the recreation. The gallery bar is very nice and cozy aswell, it has a very elegant vibe in it and is greatly enhanced by what louie made for us. Upon check out, Jack helped us with the luggage and helped us on how to get to the bus station going to Hong Kong The overall experience is really great my parents anniversarry become extra special as what Ros"

"Check-in speedy. No problem with Agoda booking. Got free upgrade - a pleasant surprise! Bed is comfortable. Bath tub is a bonus after a long walk during the day. Hot water is very consistent. Can fill whole tub with same temperature hot water. TV channels excellent variety. About 30 channels including some English (HBO, Discovery, Bloomberg, ESPN) and Japanese channels. Room was cleaned everyday in my 3 nights stay even though didn't request it. Towels were changed daily too. Taxi from airport around HKD80-85 for 4 of us with luggage. Luggage is charged separately. I bargained and got it for HKD80 inclusive of luggage. So, if only 2 people with luggage, price should be slightly lower. Free transfer to ferry terminal. From ferry terminal, can take free shuttle to Venetian (to explore Taipa area). Taxi to St Paul Ruins around HKD 13 to 20, depending on traffic. Our flight was late at night and we requested to use the bathroom and pool at fitness floor (5th floor) even after check out, which was granted. The casino at hotel is not very interesting if you like slots. Very few selection of not-so-new machines. There is a roulette and a SIC BO machine with cheap minimum bet of HKD 5 only. Plenty of Baccarat tables as Baccarat is the most popular game for the people there. But no worries even if you are a slot machines player as just around the corner (about 300m walk) is Oceanus with much more choices of good combination of slot machines. A little bit more walk across the bridge (500m) is Sands Casino. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness, comfortable beds, heated indoor pool & great service by the receptionists and concierge. Oh, we even got a good deal from the concierge for a van to send us to airport (due to additional luggage after shopping, can't fit into a taxi) for only HKD 150. "
