Hotel Royal is located away from the crowds, but still within walking distance (10 minute brisk walk) to the Ruins of St. Paul and about 15 minutes to Senado Square. Otherwise, board public bus #19 (MOP3.2) from a bus stop diagonally opposite the hotel (ask hotel front desk). Check in was a breeze and the friendly Filipina staff (Rose) at Reception was helpful to dispense advice on how to get around Macau and provide updates on the latest events (Dragon Boat festival) in town. Hotel is not within the hectic touristy areas, thus, it is relatively quiet, which we liked. The Vasco Da Gama Park (heavily concreted park with underground car park below) is directly in front of hotel. Thus, request for higher level rooms facing the park – unblocked views. We got to stay at the 17th (highest) storey, which offered fantastic views towards Zhuhai. Room is well appointed and neat. Although not big, it is sufficient to accommodate 2 guests ( three would be a real squeeze). Water pressure is strong and the air-con works. Bed is comfortable enough. One side of the bedside drawers had been tastefully modified into a coffee table – nice touch. LED TV has many channels (in several languages). There is a convenience store on the left of hotel (as you leave hotel) and several eateries on left and right of hotel. We discovered a night bazaar catering to budding artists and craftsmen at nearby Tap Seac Square. The lush Lou Lim Ieoc Gardens is within a 10 minute brisk walk. Location wise, it is ideal – quiet neighbourhood and yet within walking distance to the cultural areas. There is an in-house casino as well, but we did not patronize. There is a gym & indoor swimming pool at 3rd storey – ideal for swimming in privacy amidst a densely built up environment. Hotel provides free shuttle buses to & from the Main ferry terminal from Hong Kong (30 minute intervals) as well as a daily afternoon shuttle to Studio City in Cotai area (check timing with front-desk). This is my first experience both in booking with Agoda as well as staying in Hotel Lisboa. It was a very enjoyable booking and stay. My mum and I stayed there on the 10th & 11th of December on the 7th level (smoking floor). Although we tried to ask for non-smoking level, there wasn't any ready for us to check in straight. Since we checked in way before their supposedly check in timing, we are fine with any ready room. They were very sweet enough to give us upgraded room with nice view of Grand Lisboa. The room was spacious, nice couch, big flat screen tv, clean bathtub with massage shower, cute shampoo bottles that look like expensive perfume...etc. Their staffs from the receptionist to porter, from behind desk to over through phone calls, were friendly and patient. Location was perfect. Grand Lisboa at the side, Wynn and Star World just opposite. The famous egg tart is just two streets across and famous tourist attractions within walking distance (as long as you are willing to . Only two small cons. Our room wasn't really sound proof so if you wish to have a more quieter stay, maybe you can ask to be allocated to a quieter floor or maybe the last room in the corner? Also, because there are lots of big hotels and casinos around, there are lots of ladies raoming about the restaurant levels of Hotel Lisboa. Can be quite a sight but well, it didn't bother us too much though. On the whole, really enjoyed our stay!

I booked a 1 night stay at Harbourview Hotel, Macau on March 22-23, 2019 to celebrate my birthday. Indeed, we had the best stay in Macau and the most unforgettable birthday salubong. The hotel is very nice and clean. Not to mention that the location is also very strategically located around the tourists distinations so very easy to go around the city. The staff are very accommodating to us. We were given the best service from toiletress to water to coffee. Especial thanks to the following staff: John Arnaiz, Jeffrey, Jed, Walter and Ms. Hannah from housekeeping for the warm hospitality. Iba talaga ang alagang pinoy! Until our next stay, Harbourview!

The Rio Hotel and Casino proved to be an excellent choice for my fiancee and I. We stayed from the 25th to 29th October 2018. The reception area is impressive and provides a good first impression. I had booked a Deluxe room with daily breakfast and were told upon checking in that we had been allocated an extra large room. The combined area of the lounge/sleeping/bathroom area was huge, ( as big as an average 2 bedroom flat in Australia ) I was happy with the location of the Hotel as it was central to many of Macaus attactions ( almost at the base of Guia Lighthouse ) but not surrounded by other Hotels. There is gambling in the Hotel but we were there for the historic buildings, gardens and temples so I can not report on the gambling activities. On the 2 occasions I used the rooftop swimming pool in the late afternoon I had the facility to myself.

This hotel would have been 5 stars maybe 20 years ago. The hotel is getting older but still not bad. I certainly would not pay 5 stars price. Majority of the staff are excellent except the receptionist. If you have plenty of money to burn in the casino they would treat you like a king. Eg i had some misunderstanding with Agoda regarding our booking, they suggested me to call Agoda directly (i had no phone at the time) that was not 5 star service. If you are looking for 5 Star hotel then you might want to keep your options open. Apart from that every thing was good.

Hello, Given the fact we booked last minute and didn't want to spend too much we ended up in the Grand Lapa after taking an online promotion. We had a very good surprise and my kids (4 and 6 years old) wanted to stay longer than the 2 nights we booked for the week-end. It certainly used to be a top 5 stars Hotel but it's ageing now and even though it is still very good you can see it is not all renovated and modern. Pros: - "Old hotel" means pretty spacious bedroom and bathroom which is a plus for us. - Dated but everything was very clean - Heated outside swimming pool with a slide for the kids (even if heated pool, in November you don't stay 2h00 in the water as it gets chilly after 30-45 minutes). - Friendly staff - Nice garden and playroom (though a bit old too) that the kids loved - Close to the Fisherman's Wharf so you can go walking and the kids loved walking there - Taxi available quite easily in front of the hotel - Old downtown Macau and Largo do Senado can be reached walking (but take between 20-30 minutes with the kids). If you take a taxi it literally takes lass than 5 minutes. Cons: - Not too many restaurant close by (but you have 2 or 3 inside the hotel) - You have to cross a public place (but no road) behind the hotel to access the spa/swimming pool, gardens and playroom. It's not really a cons but it's not quick to go back to your room if you forgot something. If you are looking for luxury and last modern commodity, it might not suit you. We are usually staying at 3 star hotels so an old 5 stars hotel was just a perfect stay for us. We would definitely recommend it and would go back again if we have the occasion.

It was indeed a stay worth rating. The location was superb; it was near several key bus stops that goes to and from in Macau. It was also quite near for take-home goodies and a wide variety of gastronomic choices to choose from including a Filipino restaurant. The rooma were clean and these were cleaned regularly during our stay. The front desk was very accomodating; even if we arrived early at the hotel and was not permitted to check in early, they secured our things and even tied a knot on our luggage for us to feel secured while we went out prior to 2pm. The bill was worth paying for having noted the aforesaid comments. The downside however was the shower... it ia quite old and perhaps it needs fixing. There were bursts of water from every whole the shower had. Likewise, it is also recommended the lobby would have additional waiting room. Overall, I give it 4.5 stars out of 5. We will probably be booking at this hotel in the near future.. God willing

I loved Sintra Hotel! The location is excellent --very near the tourist attractions like the Senado Square and the Ruins of St. Paul, Casino Lisboa. There is a bus stop a minute away from the hotel, and you can ride the bus to go to the Macau Tower, Fisherman's Wharf and other places. It also provides free shuttle to the Macau Ferry Terminal, where you can hop on the free shuttle service to The Venetian and City of Dreams. Very convenient. The room itself was excellent too, very reminiscent of Shangri-la decor, beds and bath. It provides not only the basic shampoo and soap, but also a shower gel, cotton, q-tips, sewing kit, shaving kit. It also has an LCD TV featuring many English channels (not just Chinese channels). The view outside our room wasnt very nice, but we hardly look out the window anyway. The service was excellent. Everyone from the waitresses at the restaurant, the reception staff, the bellhop and the guards were very helpful and friendly. The guards and the bellhop speak English very well, and they can give you good directions and tips. Two minutes away from the hotel is Margaret's Cafe, serving yummy and cheap sandwiches, great coffee and the best portuguese egg tarts. All in all, it's two thumbs up for Hotel Sintra! If I ever go back to Macau, I will definitely book here again, and will recommend the hotel to all.

Stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed Caravel hotel. I love the luxurious feel of the sheets n pillows. It’s like you’re in a 5 star hotel. L’ Occitane shampoo, conditioner., bath gel are a nice touch. I love that there are lotion, toothbrush, toothpaste, also. There’s a blow dryer also hidden in the closet drawer where the safe is. The room is small but it’s plenty for a couple. Love the hot cocoa machine. n they have a coffee machine also.. It was a nice walk to sightseeing locations! Bring your comfy shoes.

The stay at the hotel was very nice. I booked an executive room and was unaware that I could have gone straight up to the 16th floor to check in. The speedy checkout process in the business lounge was nice and fast. I was unable to find a shuttle from the airport to the hotel. They appear to share a shuttle with another chain with Emperor labeled on the outside of the van. Much smaller than the big chains vans. They did have a shuttle to the ferry terminal which was good. For those with onward travel to HKG you have to ensure your time between landing and flight departure is at least 2 hours. I was unable to take the direct ferry to the airport because I would have only had 1.5 hours.

I usually travel alone, and a hotel is just a place to crash after a long day of sightseeing. So I usually don't spend a lot on lodging. Victoria Hotel is one of the best hotel I've stayed at. The room and bathrooms are very spacious and clean, the staff was extremely helpful and courteous. The location is a bit north and out of the way, but it's great because I could experience the culture. Plus, there are 3 bus stops within 2 minute walking distance of the hotel. I did not eat at the hotel, so I have nothing to say about their food. Also, I did not bring a computer nor a smartphone, so I don't know if their wifi works or not. Overall, an awesome experience, and I would definitely recommend it!

Pros - 1)unbelievable steam shower, 2)jacouzzi in the bathroom 3)tv screens everywhere 4)view was amazing 5)staff very friendly and always wanting to please 6) best location - we could walk to almost anywhere we wanted to go Cons - 1)renovations going on , on lower floors and nobody told us until we complained about the noise and got moved. 2) the only reason i booked this hotel was because i read somewhere that it had the best views for new years eve fireworks .....well there werent any! So very disappointed!! 3) a bit of a communication problem - a lot of the staff were very friendly but dont speak or understand english very well, or should i say, we dont speak chinese at all! So there were a few times where they didnt know wot we were asking for.

We stayed for 2 days at Towns Well Hotel and booked 2 rooms. We arrived late at night and found the rooms set-up and ready. With directions found in the internet, we were able to easily locate the hotel. The hotel staff were pleasant to talk to and very accommodating. Luckily the guy at the reception spoke in English and Filipino. Location is the hotel's best-selling feature. We went to Senado Square early in the morning to take pictures and just went back to sleep again....no tourists yet :) Special kudos to the hotel restaurant. It was very late in the evening and we were hungry....with no restaurants open, we tried the hotel. They were just about to close but still accommodated us. The restaurant manager did not speak English but he made sure to call someone who can get our orders. Overall a great stay.....will definitely stay here again.

Stayed along with my parents and it was amazing. From its design outside which is very palace like to the inside where in interior very much like leave up to the design outside. Inside is very luxurious and detailed, room is very spacious and the bed is really comfortable. My mom is shocked on how the television goes up from the cabinet, but the best of all from this hotel are the staff who not only serve us but also made sure that we will be able to have unforgettable stay as it is the 31st anniversary of my parents. From the moment we enter the hotel the front line staff Amad, greeted us and helped us on our luggage and led us to the front desk. Eva did the checking in which is fast and very professional she even greeted my parents a happy anniversary as soon as she knew it. Rose escorted us to the room, she told us all the hotel facilities and room amenities. Brian from the Concierge helped us with our luggage and provided some information in Macau. He also waited for us near the recreation to escort us to go to the lounge on eight. Lyn from the lounge on eight is very nice and engaging, the overall experience in the lounge on eight which is already very good is greatly enhanced because of her costumer engagement. Upon going out. Jury helped us on where to go, he gave us detailed information on which place to visit and which is very good place to go as my mom is having difficulty on walking. The room attendant, Sam, Dennis and Jonathan did a good job, service was really fast. Upon going to recreation Yumiko did a good job even we find it hard to communicate she tried her best to explain every facilities to us at the recreation. The gallery bar is very nice and cozy aswell, it has a very elegant vibe in it and is greatly enhanced by what louie made for us. This hotel is good and situates in a best location. If you are very into casinos, then dont bother to stay in this hotel as it is away from all the grand casinos. The hotel is nearby all the tourists main spots with lots of good food around. You will never get hungry and only if time is permitted to try all the foods you can get around the hotel. The porridge opposite the hotel is good. The desserts at the corner opposite the hotel is very good. and the noodles next to the desserts shop is so good and the price is too cheap to be true. Overall it is a very good hotel.

First off: this was not the Best Western I thought I'd booked (which no longer exists) close to the stadium for the Macau marathon! Within this year, from the last race day, the Best Western changed ownership and it's a different hotel. This Best Western is no where near the stadium though it is close to the race route. Getting a taxi in the morning was stressful; however, the front desk staff were very helpful, calling different taxi numbers and walking down the road to flag one down. No breakfast was included in the room price. The room was small but comfortable. If I'd had more time I would have liked to check out the area as it looked like a cool part of town. I would stay there again (but not if I was in Macau to run the marathon-too stressful, not knowing if I'd get a taxi or not).

Our stay was perfect. We stayed last May 25-26. I love everything about this hotel -- the facade, the lobby, the ambiance, the space, the room, food, THE VIEW -- perfect. My requests prior to check in were accomodated, making our stay special. Elmer at the Concierge was very helpful. Thumbs up! The hotel rates itself as 3-star, well, so far the best 3-star hotel for us! We will definitely stay in the same hotel when we go back to Macau.

I had stay many hotels in Macau and this is the best so far. Emailed them to inform I'm celebrating my wedding anniversary and they upgraded our room to noble suite and provide a free red wine too. Room is huge, clean and luxurious. There are 3 TV (living room, bed room and bathroom), washing machine, microwave, refrigerator etc. Bathroom is huge and shower items are good (L'OCCITANE). Really feel like a living in a super luxurious home in overseas with 5 stars hotel services. Location is also good ( Stone throw to MGM and few mins walk to Wynn and Starworld). Highly recommended to all type of travellers!

We booked a Saturday night at Crown Plaza at a charge one thousand something which is almost $1000-1500 cheaper than those hotels at Taipa or Macau downtown! It may not be the best location in Macau, but they also provide shuttle bus service from Macau outer Harbour Ferry Pier to hotel at around 20 minutes travelling . The check in is smooth, room is decent and nice. I was being upgraded to a Harbour View Room, look over the Outer harbour & really stress free. Buffet breakfast on 3/F also provide a variety of food, salad, bread & pastries to noodles & congee. It would be perfect if the food can be hotter. Tips for those coming back from Venetian after concert: take the shuttle bus from Venetian to Border Gate and walk to hotel within 20 minutes. You can find different local restaurants, fast food shop & convenience store on the way! Good choice for the supper !

I have no expectations when I booked at this hotel since we will only stay here for 1 night. I booked 2 rooms since we're 6 in the group. I checked their website and tried to sent email asking for directions but the email went back. ( I think email on their website is not working anymore). When we arrived at Macau via Turbojet we were approached by a fellow Fillipina and we asked for direction. She mentioned that we need to take bus 3A Praca Ponte Horte/Terminal but we're so excited so as soon as we saw bus 3A we hopped in. We took bus 3APortas Do Cerco Terminal so it took us an hour to figure our way back.Not everyone speak English as well and good thing the one that I asked when we got off at Portas Do Cerco Terminal showed us that way and he tried his very best that we should take another bus 3A Ponte Horte/terminal and we can see our hotel. It took us 30 minutes because it's traffic an it's raining. This is the last stop and as soon as we get off the bus we saw Macau Masters Hotel. The facade of the building is old and not that attractive but the inside is just fine.They charged the fee a 2 days before our stay so it was easy during check in.They have small cafeteria and lobby but clean. The elevator is also small so max of 3-4 per ride and you need your room key to get up to your desired floor. We were surprised to see our room because it's big with standard twin beds. There's also 2 chairs and table with cabinet and small ref inside. Their TV is also big and there's enough space to put things on the table. With complimentary drinks and water heater if you want to drink coffee. The restroom is big as well and with hot/cold shower and batch tub. They have extra bed sheets and comforters inside the cabinet and hangers for your clothes. There's enough bed pillows as well. The room is clean and they have room heater as well. There's free wifi as well. My nephew got too excited in opening cabinets and the door fell off but good thing he was able to move r

Basically, I hardly find any negative feedback about this hotel. The reservation staff is doing great job to meet my request. The personalize services and attentive staff from the day check in until the moment I get onto the taxi was indeed excellent! The rainfall shower is fantastic and also the big comfort bed. They have lovely restaurants serve great food which must try out and we are so impressed with the decoration at the walkway (indoor garden) to casino which is so amazed as the sweet aroma arouse from the flowers is so beauty! The cons are there is no bathrobe in room and no shuttle bus to Macau Airport. However, I would still rate MGM as 5 stars hotel with 5 stars services despite whether it’s my pure luck on this perfect encounter! Definitely will return again.

I had booked a Deluxe City View and Wynn gave me a free upgrade. The room was the best room I have ever seen in my life. It's spotless clean, it's got all the amenities you can thing of and the view was simply breath taking. The front desk were really accommodating and acted like a real 5 star service reps. The location was central and you could walk to all of the surrounding hotels. Overall, I can't say a single bad thing about this hotel. I highly recommend this hotel.

before i start, this hotel would have got across the board 5 stars but for one thing. we paid almost 150 euro for our room. for one night. this did not includ breakfast and while the room was excellent (probably the nicest we've stayed in), you can't call it value for money when wifi is not included in the room and breakfast isn't included. as for everything else, well the room was splendid. the ensuite was huge with a portable tv, jacuzzi bath tub, rain shower, and huge counter top and mirror, all laid out in white marble. the walk-in wardrobe was bigger than some cars i've driven. they provided top of the range electronics too, two 40" tvs in the room, brilliant iron and a videl sasoon hairdryer. the bed was king size and while we didn't spend very long it (thanks to the casino downstairs!) it was from memory very comfortable. next to the sleeping area is a lounge with sofa for maybe 5-6 people, coffee tables, arm chairs and the second of the two widescreen tvs. really, the best thing about the sands was the room experience. everything else was great, but if you like your creature comforts and can afford the price, then go for it.

The hotel is great. It is located at centralised area which took us a few minutes walk to attractions like Senado Square, "Leal Senado" Building, Lou Kau Mansion, Na Tcha Temple etc. Furthermore, shopping areas are just nearby, so it save us a lot on travelling time and fares. The room is also clean and spacious for 3 adults. Overall it is a good hotel that I would recommend.
