Hotels near Macau Tower Convention & Entertainment Centre

Simple check in - out process, we arrived at 7pm so room was fully ready, the only one hassle I noticed, if you arrive in the same time as PRC tourists. Hotel crews are friendly, especially Filipinos, they were in almost every position; reception, bell boy, house keeping and restaurant. Our bell boy was very informative, he told us how to reach touristic places by foot and to catch various free shuttle buses. If you are travel without kids, I suggested to buy macau tower ticket from concierge, it's slightly cheaper. But, a family package is much cheaper at macau tower ticket counter. In front of hotel there's a kids playground, adjacent with Vasco da Gama park. Our kids love to play there every morning. Too bad there's no kids swimming poll, I tried their heated one. Breakfast menu variety only on fried noodles style, we had 3 bf with the same menu. Overall, it's a wonderful stay. It's hard to beat agoda discounted prices, stay in convenient place, 711 just a cross the road, tom tom cafe under 5 minutes walk, McDonald 5 and shopping parade in minutes walk. We will be back again!

Very easy to go around Macau, thanks to the free shuttle buses provided by the big hotels. While our room was not available for early check in (12nn), we immediately headed to the very popular Cafe e Nata by Margaret. Good thing I made some researches about Macau so finding this place was a breeze (just a few minutes walk from the hotel). Next were the hotels - Grand Lisboa, Galaxy, Venetian, Okura, City of Dreams. They were all great, with chatacteristics of their own. Aside from the casinos, Macau also has interesting sites, like the senado square, ruins of St Paul, Macau tower, Guia Fort, etc, find time to visit them too. On the hotel, I believe Lisboa offers one of the best, if not the best deal. We were upgraded upon check in. The room, while quite dated, is huge. Everything was comfortable. I particularly loved the look and luxurious feel of the bathroom (they actually have Hermes toiletries!). And lastly, all the items in the minibar are free!

There are many luxury hotels in Macau, but we thought we will be outside for sightseeing for whole day. Thus we made bit lower budget for the accommodation. But we got luxury room (I guess we got free upgrade?), there was separate living room, luggage room, huge bath room with bathtub and private terrace!! Originally we had booked sea view room, but this luxury room was very very comfortable so it made up.

The family room is spacious for 3 pax, free shuttle bus to and fro ferry terminal. Public bus stop to Macau Tower is just across the hotel which is very accessible. 20 mins leisure walking distance to St. Paul's ruins and Senado Square with helpful direction given by the concierge. The food at Rio coffee shop is wonderful. Overall, my family and I enjoyed the stay at Rio hotel. Hope to return again during our trip to Macau.

This is a very clean and modern hotel located close to many small shops and restaurants, many of which seem to be open 24 hours. It's a short taxi/bus ride to the Macau tower and within walking distance of quite a few casinos. We stayed on the executive floor, the free breakfast is nothing special, offering toast, croissants, cereals, fruit, etc, but it's good if you don't feel like going out to eat. Many small restaurants are located within walking distance, not too many speak english so you just have to look for ones with pictures on their menus.

A very clean hotel that tops up the lotion, shower gel, shampoo daily after use. Some hotel don't do that unless you ask. The location is a great. Walk to Senado Sq, St paul's ruin in 10 mins. Take public buses which is just outside hotel to different places such as Mandarin House, Macau tower, Taipa village etc. Every staff serves us well. Despite having a crowded lobby during school vacation period, the staff were efficient and serve with a smile. If you get bored with the food in the hotel, try nearby food restaurants, within walking distance too.

Our trip to Macau was a gamble of sorts. We were a group ofunlikely tourists - 4 elderly family members and an active four-year-old childinclusive. We booked the hotel online via Agoda based solely on gut instincts.We found a hotel in Macau island within our budget and clicked the button –the ‘MandarinOriental’ name did help to decide us. The night before arrival, I went onlineand saw that the hotel was undergoing renovations; I spent a sleepless night worryingabout our hotel choice. We were checked in by a hotel staff who spoke interesting Cantonesewith a Macanese dialect. Our requests were attended to though the staff did notcome across as naturally friendly. But we had the opportunity to meet otherstaff who were more helpful and friendly during our stay. One particularreception staff did not only speak fluent English but gave us veryhelpful recommendations for eating places. He went to the extent of searchingonline and sketching simple maps for us. Having been warned by friends that hotels in Macau and HongKong were not really something to look forward to, we were pleasantly surprisedby the ambience of the hotel (no sign of renovation), cleanliness of the rooms,the facilities, as well as the understated elegance of the place. We had agreat stay and the bet did pay off – for a reasonable price, we got quite agood deal.

I loved Sintra Hotel! The location is excellent --very near the tourist attractions like the Senado Square and the Ruins of St. Paul, Casino Lisboa. There is a bus stop a minute away from the hotel, and you can ride the bus to go to the Macau Tower, Fisherman's Wharf and other places. It also provides free shuttle to the Macau Ferry Terminal, where you can hop on the free shuttle service to The Venetian and City of Dreams. Very convenient. The room itself was excellent too, very reminiscent of Shangri-la decor, beds and bath. It provides not only the basic shampoo and soap, but also a shower gel, cotton, q-tips, sewing kit, shaving kit. It also has an LCD TV featuring many English channels (not just Chinese channels). The view outside our room wasnt very nice, but we hardly look out the window anyway. The service was excellent. Everyone from the waitresses at the restaurant, the reception staff, the bellhop and the guards were very helpful and friendly. The guards and the bellhop speak English very well, and they can give you good directions and tips. Two minutes away from the hotel is Margaret's Cafe, serving yummy and cheap sandwiches, great coffee and the best portuguese egg tarts. All in all, it's two thumbs up for Hotel Sintra! If I ever go back to Macau, I will definitely book here again, and will recommend the hotel to all.

The place is strategically located in the heart of the old town and just a few minutes walk to the famous attractions and good eateries. The room is spacious and with quality amenities. The only down side about this hotel is that there is no in house cafe, the cafe next door where they serve your complementary breakfast is quite a disappointing one. So it's best not to opt for breakfast being included with your room stay, you can get really nice meals for reasonable price just a few streets away. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. Overall it's a place worth your pennies if you're into seeing the heritage side of Macau!

I've stayed in several hotels in Macau from 2008-2018 over several years (as the prices have inflated rapidly), and even compared to the bigger, more famous hotels, Beverly Plaza offers great value. It is now my go-to hotel whenever I go to Macau. The rooms are clean and have that Mediterranean maritime charm fitting to Macau's colonial history. The staff are welcoming, accommodating, and helpful, the location is right near some of the top local attractions, and there are plenty of places to eat nearby.

We like the room, it clean and comfort. The bathroom also nice and well done designed. The location is not really good, it's not really near to the center of attaction, however booking a taxi in Macau is cheap as Macau is consider as a small city. You can take a taxi to the center of attraction and pay about HKD/MOP 25-30 only. 1 HKD = 1 MOP (Macau Pacatta MOP is pegged with HK Dolar). The receptionist and staff were helpful and understand english well.

The hotel looks so small from outside, more likely a motel... But once open the room door, inside is spacious. Bathroom is clean and well maintained. The price of hotels in macau is really not cheap, but compared to other hotels, this one is reasonable. It is located right in the middle of shopping area off senado square, and within minutes walking to the famous heritage of Macau st. Paul's ruin. But it's extremely hard to find foods, the only eyecatching is McD, maybe because spots in Macau is very expensive, thus they sell jewelry almost along the main street, and to find food you have go into small lanes behind buildings. Free shuttle of famous casino is out of reach from here i think, so forget to catch them and try to ride on public bus no. 3 especially when you are bringing luggages. Overall we'd love to stay here again any chance we come to Macau.

Stayed along with my parents and it was amazing. From its design outside which is very palace like to the inside where in interior very much like leave up to the design outside. Inside is very luxurious and detailed, room is very spacious and the bed is really comfortable. My mom is shocked on how the television goes up from the cabinet, but the best of all from this hotel are the staff who not only serve us but also made sure that we will be able to have unforgettable stay as it is the 31st anniversary of my parents. From the moment we enter the hotel the front line staff Amad, greeted us and helped us on our luggage and led us to the front desk. Eva did the checking in which is fast and very professional she even greeted my parents a happy anniversary as soon as she knew it. Rose escorted us to the room, she told us all the hotel facilities and room amenities. Brian from the Concierge helped us with our luggage and provided some information in Macau. He also waited for us near the recreation to escort us to go to the lounge on eight. Lyn from the lounge on eight is very nice and engaging, the overall experience in the lounge on eight which is already very good is greatly enhanced because of her costumer engagement. Upon going out. Jury helped us on where to go, he gave us detailed information on which place to visit and which is very good place to go as my mom is having difficulty on walking. The room attendant, Sam, Dennis and Jonathan did a good job, service was really fast. Upon going to recreation Yumiko did a good job even we find it hard to communicate she tried her best to explain every facilities to us at the recreation. The gallery bar is very nice and cozy aswell, it has a very elegant vibe in it and is greatly enhanced by what louie made for us. We enjoyed our stay here. The room is comfortable for me n my husband.soft bed. Staff provided good service and hospitality. Its opposite a small park and 2 mins walking to bus stand. From here you can catch a bus to the airport, ferry terminal, venetian, the city centre and even macau tower. Senado square is 10 mins walk from the hotel. Overall we had incredible stay, even tho the drawback of the trip is when i lost my full pandora bracelet in room and they are unable to locate it 😭😭😭

We quite enjoyed our stay at the Rocks Hotel. It was something different from the rest of the hotels in Macau. Although the Babylon Casino is just right next to the hotel, it was connected and that was quite a relief. It felt nice and quiet, away from the usual buzz you'll find at hotels in Macau. The hotel was decorated beautifully, the simplistic Euro-style deco was nice and the room was clean. Great value for money and even included 2 sets of breakfast. Will definitely choose the Rocks Hotel again for myself and for guests.

We were upgraded to Noble Suite and gave us free use of cot for our one year old baby :) KITCHEN Feels very modern, with complete kitchen appliances (stove and microwave oven), but no pots/pans to use. Took some time for me to figure out how to use the coffee dispenser (Nescafe Dolce Vita). Would prefer that they provide an option for standard coffee maker, since we brought ground coffee beans with us. We love our coffee that much! BATHROOM Big bath room, big bath tub with TV. Shampoo, shower gels, lotion are from L'Occitane so that was such a nice bonus! ROOM Big bed with clean, white sheets, but bit hard on the back. Not so very nice view, another building was blocking our view. Lighting system was quite impressive. LOCATION Near a McDonald's, a grocery store and the Macau Tower; would love it if they provide free transportation to Cotai or the Senado Square. STAFF At the reception, 1 out of 2 staff can speak english, so that's okay but sometimes you need to wait.

Location of Presidente Hotel is good, just opposite Star World and Wynn Hotel. The room offers a good view of Macau Tower and the surrounding hotels, with the sea in the horizon. The service was good, staff were friendly and helpful. Even the front desk provided us with vital info to get to the wet market at Senado Square for a local feel of the place. The American breakfast at the cafe on the ground floor was great, better than the buffet breakfast provided on the 4th floor. Even though upgrading was in progress at the Presidente Hotel, the noise level was kept to a minumum and was acceptable. This is our return visit to Macau, staying at the Presidente Hotel and we are very pleased with the service provided.

We booked a Saturday night at Crown Plaza at a charge one thousand something which is almost $1000-1500 cheaper than those hotels at Taipa or Macau downtown! It may not be the best location in Macau, but they also provide shuttle bus service from Macau outer Harbour Ferry Pier to hotel at around 20 minutes travelling . The check in is smooth, room is decent and nice. I was being upgraded to a Harbour View Room, look over the Outer harbour & really stress free. Buffet breakfast on 3/F also provide a variety of food, salad, bread & pastries to noodles & congee. It would be perfect if the food can be hotter. Tips for those coming back from Venetian after concert: take the shuttle bus from Venetian to Border Gate and walk to hotel within 20 minutes. You can find different local restaurants, fast food shop & convenience store on the way! Good choice for the supper !

It was a great start when we reached the hotel at 10am (hoping to just leave our luggages at the concierge) and was given a very early check-in as we had 2 kids along with us. We were also given an upgrade to their newly-renovated deluxe room on their 26th storey (highest being 28). Upon learning that i'm an IHG member, i was told my checkout time will be 2pm instead of the usual 12 and given free wifi for my stay. The regular shuttle to the maau ferry terminal is also a plus as it makes travelling in macau almost free. Also a very convenient place to travel to the senado square and macau tower. Staff is always very patient in telling us how to get from one attraction to another and what to look out for! Only drawback is the wifi in the room that is not very fast and unlike some of their hotels in other countries, the wifi here is only single connection at any time. Can be quite frustrating especially with the so many gadgets nowadays.... Will consider staying back here if it is affordable like this time!

I have no expectations when I booked at this hotel since we will only stay here for 1 night. I booked 2 rooms since we're 6 in the group. I checked their website and tried to sent email asking for directions but the email went back. ( I think email on their website is not working anymore). When we arrived at Macau via Turbojet we were approached by a fellow Fillipina and we asked for direction. She mentioned that we need to take bus 3A Praca Ponte Horte/Terminal but we're so excited so as soon as we saw bus 3A we hopped in. We took bus 3APortas Do Cerco Terminal so it took us an hour to figure our way back.Not everyone speak English as well and good thing the one that I asked when we got off at Portas Do Cerco Terminal showed us that way and he tried his very best that we should take another bus 3A Ponte Horte/terminal and we can see our hotel. It took us 30 minutes because it's traffic an it's raining. This is the last stop and as soon as we get off the bus we saw Macau Masters Hotel. The facade of the building is old and not that attractive but the inside is just fine.They charged the fee a 2 days before our stay so it was easy during check in.They have small cafeteria and lobby but clean. The elevator is also small so max of 3-4 per ride and you need your room key to get up to your desired floor. We were surprised to see our room because it's big with standard twin beds. There's also 2 chairs and table with cabinet and small ref inside. Their TV is also big and there's enough space to put things on the table. With complimentary drinks and water heater if you want to drink coffee. The restroom is big as well and with hot/cold shower and batch tub. They have extra bed sheets and comforters inside the cabinet and hangers for your clothes. There's enough bed pillows as well. The room is clean and they have room heater as well. There's free wifi as well. My nephew got too excited in opening cabinets and the door fell off but good thing he was able to move r

There are a lot of nice hotels in Macau but the MCM has also sea view, well at least the room we had, we had requested seaview and had an upgraded room. The room was super modern with huge windows to look out. The restaurants were also very nice but the casino was the best, we stopped at several different hotels to see the difference and MCM was by far our favorite. It also has a very nice pool which we unfortunately did not get to use since we were only staying one night. I would definately stay at MCM again, it is worth the money.

The hotel has an absolute location. It's very close to some of Macau's popular landmarks - Ruins of St. Paul's, Senado Square, Fortaleza do Monte, Camoes Square and Casa Garden, St. Anthony's Church, Leal Senado Building, St. Augustine's Church, Dom Pedro V Theatre, Sir Robert Ho Tung Library, Mandarin's House, Lilau Square, Moorish Barracks, A-Ma Temple and a lot more, even to the casinos like Grand Lisboa, Hotel Lisboa, Wynn Macau, MGM, and also Macau Tower. You can really discover places just by walking, which I did, from the hotel to these popular sights. I didn't have to spend a lot with transportation fees. The hotel is also few steps away from local gift shops, pastry shops, and some eateries, as well as parks and convenience stores. The hotel staff are quite nice, one lady even directed me on how to go to Ruins of St. Paul's. The senior staff who was on duty when I arrived at past 2am on Friday/Saturday was accommodating to my concern despite the limited English when I thought the key got stuck to the key slot. Overall, I'd say I would book with this hotel again when I come back.

Metropole Hotel is located in Centre of Macau, very convenient - turn left to Ruins of St Paul and turn right can go to New & Old Lisbao Hotel, New Yaohan Shopping Mall and etc. Can enjoy in the morning and walk to Senado Square, can further and there have 2 hawker stall selling Macau style porridge and "chee cheong fun". Slightly expensive but great experience for breakfast at roadside. Less than 5 mins walk (cross opposite road) to take free shuttle to Galaxy Hotel in Taipa, also can take free shuttle from Galazy Hotel. Actually Sheraton Hotel, Venetion Hotel, Galaxy Hotel are near to each other. All the hotels in Macau is extremely big and will get lost inside for first time. Metropole Hotel is just nice and comfortable although it's normal standard hotel. Will consider it again for next visit if hotel rate is reasonable.
