The exterior of Melia Purosani looks very pretty. It overlooks the cityscape and the position of our assigned room is facing where the sun rise and sets. The deluxe room is huge for 2 persons, and every day there is a complimentary snack. It's a nice gesture after a day out traveling! The restaurant where it serves breakfast has very good chef! the Nasi Padang is our favourite on the Menu. Generally the food quality and taste is above average as it suited our taste buds. One of our good experiences in Yogyarkarta! This hotel is definitely a must-visit! It's a stone throw away from Malioboro shopping district, the Ambarukko mall if you would like some variety shopping and it's a 30-45 mins away from Airport. Such ease! Thank you to the staff who worked tirelessly over the Puasa Holiday to make our experience in Yogyakarta one of the best!

Arrived on 4th July 2018, shared a friend's taxi from airport to Jambuluwuk Malioboro, and checked in. It was a pretty fast and efficient process, and soon we were given the keys to our room. To be honest, we were quite disappointed to know that our room was in Level 3 since we have requested for a high floor room with city scenery. However, it is fine. Check in 5/5 We went up to Level 3, and noticed this beautiful terrace garden. It contained a few water fountains and a nice shelter with table and chairs for smoking. It was really beautiful. Room scenery 3/5 Garden Scenery 5/5 We went into our room, and noticed that it was really big and spacious. The toilet is a bit small, but still okay. However, my main concern is the insufficient light in the room, especially at night. It could really spoil your eyesight. There was no ceiling light, only lights from your bedside lamp and the lamp by the rocking chair. I had to turn on my personal torchlight when I wake up every morning (before the sun is up) to do my makeup. Indoor lighting 3/5 To add on, the walls and carpets are quite old. The carpets are quite scary as you can see some white spots on it, and you can't help but imagine how or when was the carpet stained. The walls are a bit old when you see up close, but still okay. We really appreciate the daily change of our towels though. Walls & Carpet 3/5 Also, we checked out on 9th July, and it was when we were on our flight that we recalled that I left my amulet under the pillow. I contacted the staffs at Jambuluwuk Malioboro, and they got back to me pretty quick, and mailed the amulet back to me. Elsa (the kind staff who helped me through this situation) maintained professional and really went out of her way to help me get my amulet back. The hotel location is in front of malioboro, near to any other attraction, like malioboro mall, pasar beringharjo (traditional market). We can easily buy any local stuffs near the hotel. The room is big eventhough a little bit old. But the staffs were nice, friendly & helpful. Everytime i went to jogjakarta i always stay in Inna Garuda Hotel. Our most favorite hotel in Yogya.

The Food was great! every morning we're looking forward for breakfast :) lots of varieties & the taste were all delicious. When we arrived at day 1, around 6.30pm, there were bakso and coffee stall in the lobby...just a perfect time when we're already hungry & craving for coffee but we're about to go out for dinner ..so the delicious bakso really was our saviour , alias"ganjel" before our real dinner ;) The swimming pool was quite small for adult but oh well ..we were on holiday and mostly out of the hotel ..so it didn't really matter. If traveling with babies or kids under 12 the pool is perfect. The location is near Malioboro just order becak , gojek ( online motorcycle ) & one night we rode Andong from Malioboro :) The staff were still young , nice & helpful. On our last day we forgot to pick up our laundry & the staff managed to send it by JNE courier on the same day. Overall, we had a good time staying at Cavinton & hope to stay there again some day.

Great location (3 min walk to the beginning of Malioboro st), cleanliness and breakfast-to-go (as most tours in Yogyakarta start very early). Can choose American bfast (omelette, sausage, bread, sliced fruits) or Traditional Indonesian bfast. There’s a vegetarian option too. Jus need to inform reception the day before. Receptionists all speak good English which made everything a breeze. Beds were super comfy, toiletries gd. All in all a very pleasant stay. Our only peeve, as the other guests point out is the soundproofing. We could hear pple talking or walking in e corridor, the flushing of toilet bowl next door and even the shower (we were in Rm 615). Good thing our kids were in the Connecting Rm to ours..otherwise we’d be writing abt noise from there too as the door/wall are so thin. But since we have not stayed in other hotels in Jorga before, we cannot be sure if other hotels don't have the same issue w soundproofing as well. Best is jus bring ear plugs 😉

Hotel is in a central location, walkable to the infamous Malioboro street. Convenience shops and the mall is just around the block. Relatively new hotel, so not much amenities as yet. Room i took didnt have a fridge, ants came within 6hrs of leaving consumed drink. Sound insulation needs an upgrade, sounds of doors slamming along the corridor were louder than the nearby railway and the moving trains. Staff were pleasant at best.

Booked 2 rooms for 3 nights at 101 was one of my best money ever spent. rooms are new and clean, staffs verfy helpfull eventhough for guess with cars there's very limited parking space (free valet service available). the view from hi-tea spot is great. my only regret for hi-tea was why there's only one complimentary session per room, when there should be 3 complimentary since i booked for 3 nights, or must i reserved in different names and days in a row? one thing may i suggest, the door closer in every room slams the door, it disturb my baby and everyone whose trying to sleep. the 101 hotels must find a way to keep that door closer closed firmly in silence. beside that, it's a perfect comparison between price and place. various meal for breakfast and half rate for kids breakfast, still cheaper compared to other hotels even with 3 stars hotel at malioboro. looking forward to come back next holiday season with my family...

Everything about this hotel was okay. from staff, facilities, location. Location near to Malioboro Street, Malioboro Mall, Circle K (shop like 7e), KFC. Room was okay and spacious. The bad news is about their breakfast. The breakfast was delicious only that they serve same thing. I bring my parents and my mom family, at least they no complain about this hotel, meaning this hotel was great.

The location is great - walking distance to Trans Jogja bus stop (if you are planning to use this mode of transport which can bring you to Prambanan), Malioboro street, and Keraton. Also, there is a Catholic church about 5 mins walk from the hotel, a massage place opposite the hotel (good massage at reasonable price) and if you are intending to buy local snack 'bakpia', there is a good one near the hotel about 15 mins walk or take a trickshaw for IDR 10,000 (brand Bakpiaku). Cons: i don't see any good eateries around the hotel so it is better to have your lunch/dinner first somewhere else before returning to the hotel.

Hotel is in an alley, only 3min walk to Malioboro Street. The breakfast was great with few variety. Pool was a little small. The only thing is Malioboro Street only stay live until 10pm and after that the street is dead and empty. You can find most of the local foods along the street and also souvenirs. Convenient stores were available on the left corner of the street with minimum choices. Matahari Mall is within 13min walk from hotel.

Booked this hotel room via agoda.com, so we got a good bargain for it. It's very near Malioboro St where you can get lotsa local Batik and souvenirs (abt 5 minutes). 1 hour to Borobudur, 45 minutes to Prambanan. A ride by trishaw from the hotel to Malioboro St should cost you around 10,000 -15, 000 INR. Santika is considered a luxurious hotel, so be prepared to be charged/asked extra by the trishaw/taxi driver. The hotel interior is clean and beautiful. The staff are very polite and courteous. They always bow down and great you. However, we did not get a very good view form our hotel room. Probably because we paid less via Agoda.com. So, they gave us the worst possible view. But the rooms were clean and tidy. So no complaints there. The rooms are spacious too. Did not get breakfast either, because the room was through Agoda.

I book 2 nights here but end up complete my whole 4 nights in jogja at this hotel. It is a basic hotel for a budget traveller. No cupboard and tea making facility in the room. Quiet spacious and clean room tho. They have hot shower which is good after your long tiring journey in jogja. For the amount of money that you pay...it is worth. The hotel was located at a small alley between jalan mataram and jln malioboro. Its about 50m walks to the lively jalan malioboro and about 100m to malioboro mall. They serve loval breakfast which is rice but diff choice of gravy everyday. Would recommend of you are not a fussy type.

its quite near from jalan malioboro, walk 5minutes and you arrived. or you can took becak for 5k rupiah only to arrive in jalan malioboro. good budget hotel. its a clean room for me. will booked for another trip if i visit jogja with my friends. and tha staff is nice, cause reccomend us for so place worth to visit in jogja. and even the security in the front of hotel is super nice. he call for our online taxi to pickin up us. and also nasi pecel in front of the hotel in the morning is very nice and cheap, its only 10k rupiah.

Had a room at the 5th floor, with a terrace overlooking the skyline near the lift lobby. very quiet, not noisy at all. Excellent customer service. Room was bare minimum with attached toilet and shower, enough for me and my wife. No wardrobe,fridge, safe box in the room. Bottled mineral water is provided in the room. Surrounding the hotel are some of the best local food you can find. Right at the heart and beginning of Malioboro street. The hotel is adjacent to Malioboro Mall, where you can find the usual fast foods (didn't try it though, prefer to try local food). Wifi is very weak in the room, except for the lobby area. Breakfast was limited to a main meal and some side meals. (Indonesian cuisine only). We had our driver/guide. very knowledgeable, on time service, even at the crack of dawn, and he knows Yogyakarta very well. You can even have customize tour at affordable rates. Foods to try and recommended: 1) Nasi Gudeg 2) Nasi Rames 3) Terang Bulan (Apam Balik) 4) Sate Ayam (the ones sold by the Javanese Women at the square at the end of Malioboro street, towards Kraton) 5) Ayam Goreng Suharti Resto 6) Grilled Gurame at Kali Opak Resto, near Prambanan Temple

Positive experience! 1. The hotel is located at the center of the business/tourist district (Malioboro Street). It's close to restaurants, shops, mall, the Palace, etc. 2. The staff are very helpful and friendly. 3. Free Wi-Fi and there are computers to use at the lobby. 4. Breakfast is included. It's not super great but good enough. 5. The room is basic but very clean. They clean it everyday as well. For budget travelers, this is a steal!

Great hotel with excellent range of breakfast (Indonesian and western). Location is perfect....it's 13 mins walking to Malioboro Street so you won't see and hear much noises at night. My young nephews didn't mind to walk that far. When they tired, we catched a becak for Rp 15k or Grab taxi for Rp 13k. The hotel is well guarded with friendly staff everywhere. Room is big enough and clean. During breakfast, I was glad that the management facilitated big group of guests separated from other guests so it wasn't crowded and chaotic when we had our breakfast. The hotel consists of 2 main buildings that's connected with stairs. The main obvious difference between the two are from the floor, one is with carpet floor and the other is without carpet floor. We stayed in the room without carpet floor. The room seems old, yet clean and big. The best part of this hotel is on its location, very nearby the famous Malioboro street. The staff also friendly and provide good service. Overall, it's a good and recommended hotel.

Lokasi nya strategis deket kemana mana terutama dari stasiun dan malioboro. Kamar nya luas, bersih, dan nyaman. Nggak enak nya itu ruangan kurang kedap suara apalagi kalo kamar dapet sebelah gereja, suara2 nyanyian dari gereja kedengeran sampe kamar all day long. Untuk breakfast standar, beberapa rasanya terlalu asin menurut saya. Staff ramah hanya saja ketika saya menunggu waktu untuk check in, saya nggak diinfo kalo uda bisa check in, staff FO malah melayani tamu yg baru dateng dan langsung bisa check in sedangkan saya yg uda nunggu harus confirm dulu.

We have had a comfortable stay at hotel. the room was not big, but well equipped. overall staff are helpful and attentive. Good buffet breakfast. good location with easy access to Malioboro, malls, shops (within 5 mins walk) but quiet enough. the "cons" we can think of were that we were not allowed to check in earier (despite hotel did not seem packed) and miscommunication with front desk on the price of transport. Had dinner at hotel restaurant where the chicken portion was too small.
