"WM&S Hostel is brand new. We happened to be the only guests in the 8-bed dorm during our 1-night stay. Everything was clean and well presented. Lockers are roomy. Bedding is comfortable but mattresses are unexpectedly hard. A waste bin would have not been out of place. We liked the strong hot shower. Breakfast was unexpectedly generous. The price was right. Finding the place (driving) proved to be a bit tricky. We were literally in front of the place and didn't recognize the hostel due to a lack of signage. Staff was super friendly. If some more polishing is done on the details it will be almost as could as it could be. "

"Simply put, I have nothing but the best praise and satisfaction in choosing this hotel as the base for exploring Taroko Gorge! First, the hotel is only 2kms from the entrance of the gorge. The bus stop right in front the hotel is for the bus service of the entire gorge, so if you want to visit the gorge on your own, just hop on the bus! Second, the staffs there were super nice. They went out of their way to address any concern or questions or helps that you need! The entire reception and concierge staffs were like that-helpful, genuine, courteous. Third, the room was nice and very clean. The wood panel throughout the entire room was made from some Japaneses scented wood so the room was naturally scented with fresh woody scent! Last the room rate was very reasonable for the area. It's the best hotel! "
