"My brother and I stayed at Bayleaf Intramuros Hotel for just one night as we needed to stay in Manila to catch a flight the next day. Not only is the hotel clean, charming and full of character, it is in a great location, full of history and lots to see. Best of all though was the staff. Upon my arrival, I found out that I had accidentally booked a room for the wrong day (wrong month, actually). As I panicked and started to inquire about nearby hotels, the staff alleviated my stress by contacting the manager to ask if they could accommodate me, as it was an honest mistake on my part. Not only did they help me out, they upgraded my room and threw in free breakfast for the following morning. I was deeply thankful. The hotel, the staff, the manager -- all around classy! I would definitely return to Bayleaf again. I didn't know about the stunning rooftop until I checked it out during breakfast (which was delicious!), and I imagine it would be a great hang out spot at night. Spacious, lots of seating, rooftop bar, and incredible views."

"We weren't really expecting five-star accommodations but the room was better than we expected. The photos in their website made the rooms seem small. The room was spacious and clean, same with the marble bathroom. The staff was very friendly. They had a band playing live music every night. Although the food wasn't that great, the band was excellent. One thing we noticed with the hotel were the guests. The type of guests that stay in a hotel says a lot about the place. There was a mixture of local and foreign guests. Majority of whom were foreign. There were no rowdy or unruly guests. Everyone had dinner and enjoyed the good music. According to the staff, the hotel has been in operation under new management for about 4 years. It's a good place to stay when you want to enjoy the sites of Intramuros. The hotel is within walking distance of all the major attractions of Intramuros. I hope they can improve on the food though. I would highly recommend White Knight Hotel to people who want to explore Intramuros."
