"The Daiwa Roynet Hotel Yokohama-Koen offers great value for your money. It is affordable, even for budget conscious travelers like me, and the hotel makes guests at ease with their easy check-out kiosk, not to mention the secure feeling one gets because a keycard is needed to access the elevators to the rooms. The hotel also gives out free amenities like toothbrushes and shavers. The room also comes with a mini-refrigerator which comes in handy. Clean, affordable, comfortable, secure, friendly, and a great location...what more can you ask for. Yokohama Stadium is just across the hotel and behind the hotel is Chinatown, also Kannai Station is a 5-10 minute walk away. I will definitely come back to this hotel."

"I was a little worried with this hotel being so cheap and a name like LiveMax. We're talking $35-45/night on cheap days. Great value. Weekends can go up to $125. yikes! Room size is slightly bigger than a business hotel. It's still small, but maybe an extra 10sqft. I know... I know... but it makes a big difference. Location is in the middle of Yokohama China Town. You can go on a day binge of pearl teas and tons of Chinese food. Motomachi and Minato Mirai is in walking distance. It dies down by 11pm. But there is a 24 hour grocery store if you walk towards the train station. Chukagai Train Station is about a 5 min walk. Staff is the most lenient I have ever seen in Japan. They leave you to your privacy. They just keep their heads down as you walk in and lightly say "Iterashaimase" when you leave. Other hotels give you a bulky key you have to hand over every time you leave. This one doesn't require that. Just a card."
