First time with Ibis!”

First of all, I booked with Agoda, and my room type was: Standard 1 Double Bed Enjoy Hidden Treasures 40 pct. Till now I still do not know what is the 'Enjoy Hidden Treasures 40 pct'.... :) Anyway, the room was comfortable and clean, my girlfriend and I liked it very much. But there are some issues I would like to share. There are no hooks in the bathing room, I find it cold after I bathe especially when I came out from the glass door and grab my towel. If there is a hook for towel, I can clean myself dry before I'm out of the bathing room, so I won't feel so cold. I bought suction hook on the next day and hang my towel (I still left in the hotel room, Oops!) Maybe Ibis styles Myeongdong can consider install a rack at the mirror above the basin. My girlfriend and I do not have anywhere to place our beauty products except on the basin. Installing a rack at the mirror can help solve this problem (Especially women have a lot of beauty products(^_^) ) and also utilize the space at the mirror. I enjoy the breakfast every morning, I liked the chicken sausages and scrambled eggs everyday! There are also salad, yogurt, cereal and fruits for us to choose too. Most of the dishes are the same everyday and if you are not picky eater, you will like the breakfast. Lastly the location is great especially it is near to train station. But there is one issue, if you want to take a cab back to hotel, most of the taxi drivers do not know where is Ibis Styles Ambassador Myeongdong. Most of the time, the drivers took me to other Ibis except Ibis Styles. So the only solution was to ask the taxi driver to take me to Sejong Hotel, and took a 5 mins walk back to hotel.

Value For Money”

What takes the cake.....is the excellent staff! I love how the small room is made to feel spacious by utilizing each corner and with colour splash; making it vibrant. There was a small desk with a chair too. There were many power sockets which many hotels fail to have them. Little things matter. The shower head was wow, breakfast delicious(awesome view especially if you dine outside), clean room, 3m walking distance from exit 10 of Myeongdeong Station(when u arrive or leave for the airport - The main Myeondong is just a little distance away - better for peace and quiet)! I could just go on and on. Above all, the staff were helpful, friendly, always smiling and most importantly; genuine in their service rendered. Hotel is also walking distance to the Palace, City Hall, Nandaemun Market, convenient bus to Seoul Tower and plenty more attractions. If I plan on returning to Seoul...I don't hv to look any further...IBIS STYLES it is :) Thank you so much for making my solo stay comfortable

Ibis Styles Review”

Stayed at Ibis Styles Ambassador over a weekend and absolutely loved it. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional, the rooms very clean and the facilities very impressive and beautiful. The bar is just as fantastic as the photos show, it is especially beautiful at night although remember to make a reservation if you are there on a Saturday night (regardless of being a hotel guest) as it is a very popular spot!

Location of IBIS style was great, it was about 2 mins away from Myeongdong station exit 10 and the airport bus stop, but also quite quiet as it’s on the back end of myeongdong. Room was decently sized, facilities were also decent and the room was made up very meticulously every day. Staff were also friendly and helpful! One thing to note: there’s another Ibis on the other side of myeongdong and cab drivers tend to get confused between the two, so it’s better to just provide them with the postal code so that they can follow GPS directions to the hotel.

Nice hotel, with great location”

We stayed at Ibis Styles Ambassador Seoul Myeongdong last year during our vacation to Seoul. The hotel is new and is located very near to the subway station and is a walking distance to Myeongdong street where you can find all sorts of food and shopping conveniences. Also, there is a convenience store beside the hotel and opposite the road as well. It is clean, comfortable although a little small but we are satisfied with it overall. The staffs are friendly and helpful, the breakfast is also reasonably good. Will stay there again if we go to Seoul.

Great Location To Explore Seoul From”

The hotel is pretty new, so if you're taking a taxi into Seoul, make sure you get the right Ibis as there are several in the city. Location-wise it's a walking distance from the Myeongdong subway station and the Myeongdong shopping district, making connections, food and shopping very convenient. Breakfast is included, but fairly basic. Gym facilities are limited to cycle machines, two treadmills and some weights. Still, one of the better mid-priced hotels in the city.

Excellent”

Overall a hotel with modern styles. Large TV however suitable for watching when lying on bed. Room was clean. Within walking distance to Myeong-dong shopping street. If carrying large luggages do note that the nearest metro exit (exit 10) has no escalator. U may like to take exit 1 with escalator, walk about 100m down to cross the traffic and make a u-turn back towards the hotel. Staff are good and accommodating. Accommodated with my request for early check-in and is able to deposit 1 of my luggage after I check out and travel to a ski resort for 1 night. Greatly appreciated that. Overall will recommend hotel to others.

Ibis Styles Seoul Review”

Ibis Styles Ambassador in.Seoul is a fantastic place to stay. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to spend the money for a 4 star. The rooftoop bar is amazing, make sure to make a reservation for the bar if it's a Saturday night. The staff are great, the location fantastic and the dining atmosphere divine.

Great view of Myeongdong”

We had a great time at the Ibis Ambassador. It was very easy to access the great cafes and restaurants of the Myeongdong from the hotel. The staff were friendly and professional. They were able to help us locate sites in the city very easily. The room was clean and not overheated.

Great location, friendly staff, nice & clean room”

the hotel locates just 3 mins walk from Myeongdong station (line 4) exit 10 and it took us about 8 mins to walk to chungmoro station (lines 3 and 4) which we can access to anywhere in seoul conveniently. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was small but clean with everything we need. We stayed for 4 nights during Easter holidays and we found the price was reasonable. Highly recommended to shopaholics.

Nice hotel ”

The stay at the hotel was a very comfortable one. The room was bigger than what I had expected, bigger than some business hotels in other cities which I have visited. One thing I especially like about this hotel is its location. It's a short walk to Myeongdong, making it very convenient to get food and to shop for facial products, yet it's not so close that you are right in the centre of the noisy buzz. The hotel is located in between Myeongdong station and Chungmuro station, it's a very short walk from either, and the latter is an interchange for two lines. One point to note is that some travel maps (even official ones from the authorities) have marked the location of the hotel wrongly. It's not located opposite Lotte DFS. If you are taking airport bus 6015, alight at the last stop (i.e. Myeongdong station) and walk back towards the traffic junction, you will pass exit no.10 of the station, and the hotel is on the other side of the junction.

Great Option for Shoppers”

I travelled with another friend and chose this location as it is near Myeong Dong. To be exact, it is 7 minutes walk from Exit 10 of Myeong Dong station and located behind the streets. The + point of this is the location as it is only 2 minutes walk from the main street of Myeong Dong Shopping area and accessible by airport bus with about 7 mins walk. As I checked in early at 11am, we were given early check in once signed up as some hotel members. The hotel also allowed luggage storage. Some great facilities include a very small gym but a great sauna to experience. Best of all, I booked through Agoda, but given a tax rebate from this hotel which gave us extra money for spending. However, the minus point would be the hotel seemed a bit old and refurbished. The toilet structure is weird and may be uncomfortable for friends as the dry area is transparent. Otherwise, it is a bit pricey given the room but will stay if price is reasonable with tax rebate and if I am shopping at Myeong Dong.

Nice and comfy”

Room is a bit smaller than usual but we already expected. Very comfortable bed in house which made us don't even want to get out of bed every morning. Very friendly and helpful staff, they made us an unforgettable experience which we can't found in other ibis that we've stayed before. Rooftop bar is their highlight!! Very nice view as Seoul Tower is right in front of us!! We are so sure that we gonna stay in here again next time when we back to Seoul :)

Trip to Seoul”

We had a wonderful stay in the hotel. On our first day, we arrived very early at the hotel at around 7am and the hotel was not able to check in early due to no room available. We stay at the lobby and wait as we're very tired. But then at 10am, the staff approach us and told that the room is now ready. That's a big relief as we are tired during our flight and cannot walk around since it's very cold outside. Although the room is small but still manage to set up a baby crib for my son with a nice bedding. The bed is also enough for us. The water flush on the toilet is not strong. The food has few selections only. The best thing is the location, which is near to subway, Seoul tower and myeondong shopping area. The hotel is also near to all tourist places' subway train. It was also thoughtful on our first day breakfast that the manager gave two ibis teddy bear to my kids which serves as souvenir.

Satisfactory Stay”

Staff were helpful, Rooms and bed was nice, however rooms were smaller and can't accommodate extra bed, we have and hard fixing a big luggage. We thought we booked the other IBIS STYLES AMBASSADOR in Myeongdong, but we might have overlooked. Breakfast was lacking a few foods for an international hotel. Nevertheless, the location was still near Myeongdong, just cross, and a few 100meter walk. Overall, satisfactory, but can do better.

Enjoyable stay”

Can view N tower during breakfast. The hotel also provides washing machine and drying machine, free of charge to use. Very very good facility to hotel guests. Comfortable air conditioning, can adjust low cool and mid cool. So, will not feel too cold during night time. Highly recommend to those choosing Myeongdong to stay while visit Seoul.

Great area ”

Price is a little pricey. Safe area. Great service. Right next to myeongdong. Rooms are a little small for a four star hotel. Bathrooms are not as convenient because it's sperated and the shower glass door is next to the sink room which is see through when changing coming out the shower. Breakfast was okay but view is great! Overall if it's not to pricey I would book it again best location and safe! Close to some train stations as well.

Fantastic stay with clean facilities”

Built in 2015, I chose this ibis to travel in style. I was not disappointed with its cleanliness but just the stingy attitude of its staff - I requested for water and two extra pillows but was told that they could not accede straightaway - only after I explained that I was sick, did they allow. Not sure why they are so rigid sometimes...

Location”

Hotel is close to myeongdong train station (100meters). Airport limo bus 6001 and 6015 stops in front of Sejong Hotel which is 2 minutes walk to ibis. It is about 5 minutes away to the busy myeongdong area. There is a 7-11, cafe and dominos next to hotel. Hotel staff were friendly and had good command of english and mandarin. Hotel is generally clean and very new. Rooms are a bit small but comfortable. Toilet and shower is separated into 2 compartments. There is a USD10 different for a 2 single bed room and a double bed room, though there is not much different in size. Hotel breakfast was very basic not much variety. Would stay here again but would like to try out the other ibis branch on the other side of myeongdong which is closer to lotte young and the other shops.
