Hello. First, I would like to sincerely thank the hotel staff. On the last day of my trip, I was alone and lost my cell phone, which put me in a really desperate situation. With no one to ask for help, the hotel staff took the initiative to contact the authorities and assist me with reporting the loss, and they exchanged my Korean money to help me call a taxi since I didn't have a phone. In fact, I hadn’t exchanged money at all during my trip, so it was a truly desperate situation for me. I was very grateful. After that, the hotel continued to contact me via email, and eventually, they safely sent my phone back to Korea. Many people can relate, as such incidents can lead to a state of confusion when traveling abroad, but the proactive and warm support shown by the hotel staff was a great help. The hotel itself was a very good place for travelers. Above all, the prices were really reasonable, allowing me to use my travel budget much more efficiently in a city like Shanghai where the cost of living is high. Just because it was affordable didn’t mean the facilities were lacking or uncomfortable; it was clean and pleasant. I believe it would be a great help particularly for backpackers or student travelers. I sincerely thank you, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Shanghai.

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room is modern and bed is comfortable. Cleanliness is good but need to improve the cleanliness of the window curtain. Hotel is nearby and walking distance to Madang Road metro station. A further walk can reach Xintiandi area. Hotel staff are also kind and helpful during the stay. Although hotel does not have a lift, they will assist to carry luggage. Highly recommend for business travellers or tourists. Would definitely stay here again!

The hotel although looks old outside but it’s clean and have all the facilities needed and the staff are all very friendly and helpful and going out just a walking distance from the back of the hotel about 10 mins to the train station No.1 entrance. Would definitely come back and stay with them.

The hotel is really good. The room was very spacious. At first I stayed with a friend in a twin room and after solo in a queen size. The twin room had 2 big beds and a lot of space and great bathroom with a rain shower. There was a long desk and chair, cups, kettle and lightning controls close to the bed. The only thing I missed in the rooms were hooks to hung the towels and there was a closet but no hangers. The location is nice, around 12 min pleasant walk from the subway and part of it can be done inside a nice park. Walking distance from Tianzingfang. There are many restaurants and fruit and vegetables shops close by. The staff is really nice and friendly and use translators to explain everything in English.

“Worth the price ”
If you were planning to stay for few days and just for sleep it’s a good deal . Most of the time I’ll be outside . So yeah the room it’s perfect for two . But to open luggage it’s abit cramp . Cleanliness wise is good too . The housekeeper clean it often . Both receptionist and housekeeper were very friendly. One thing to note the Chinese address won’t work when you find in map at times . Nearest station is madang road exit 1 . When you exit and saw Shanghai Bank walk towards it cross the road and walk all the way staraight . Hotel is too you’re right . If I would return again for a short trip this hotel will be good to go
