Nice hotel”
Kantary Hills Hotel and serviced apartments is a modern hotel opened within the last 18 months. The concierge staff are very helpful and will not only take your luggage when you arrive to check-in but should you return from a shopping trip they will collect your shopping and take it to your room. The lobby is spacious with plenty of seating and free WiFi internet. Reception staff are polite and efficient. To gain access to the rooms you must use your key card, from there the elevators and corridors are not air-conditioned. Rooms are spacious I stayed in a one bedroom apartment, there is a mini kitchen (more than sufficient to cook a meal), washing machine, microwave hotplates. saucepans cups etc. There is a dining area and a lounge area with nice big TFT TV DVD player and stereo. There are 2 doors on to the balcony from the main living area. The bedroom is a little small but that is only because the bed is huge, beds are comfortable and linen is crisp. The bathroom decoration lets the room down a little, however all fittings and fixtures are new and modern. The rooms are clean however I noticed housekeeping using an old towel to clean the floor and then use the same towel to dry a cup after washing it, so I would recommend that you wash all crockery before using. There is a swimming pool and fitness centre on the second floor, the pool is large and there is a jacuzzi. The hotel offers nice views of the mountain, however be warned it is on the flight path for CNX. This is not a problem though as flights do not arrive late or over night. The hotels location is fine, a little out of the centre but close to some nice shops. A tuk-tuk to the centre of Chiang Mai will set you back no more than 100Baht

Excellent Quality Standards All-round”
We stayed at Kantary Hills Hotel with our 7 month old son and enjoyed the hotels services and amenities immensely. The hotel is located just 3mins walking distance from the trendy Nimmanheiman road which is filled with new cafes, restaurants and a few nightlife spots. The hotel is modern (only 3 years old) and the furnishings are well suited and comfortable. We booked via agoda.com and received a FREE upgrade to the 1bedroom suite which is much larger than the studio rooms. The buffet breakfasts are of good standard with meals changing daily catering to both Western and Eastern tastes. There's a swimming pool and gym located on the 3rd floor and a great executive lounge with complimentary coffee/tea and free wifi. On the negative, we were only provided with a baby blanket (perhaps we were supposed to just put it on the floor) instead of a proper cot/crib so our son had to sleep with us on the bed. Wireless internet in your room is extra however free wifi in the lounge or in public areas. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying on Nimmanheiman road. Cheaper alternatives exist but you can't go wrong at Kantary Hills Hotel.

Kantary Hills - Chiang Mai”
Kantary HIlls is a very nice hotel outside of the city center in Chiang Mai. The hotel staff was always very helpful. However, like in most of Thailand, you need to ask the same question in many different ways and then "integrate" the various answers you get in order to come up with a more complete picture - never take just one answer as the whole truth. The hotel has wi-fi (free) which was great; however, you can't connect from your room - only from the hotel lobby and from the pool areas. Computer use charges are extraordinary - instead go down the street by the 7-11 to the internet cafe where there are great computers with skype for very cheap. The work out facilities are very nice. We were consistently impressed with the staff and their friendliness and desire to help us out. The morning buffet is excellent and has both western and japanese fare.

Nice modern serviced apartment”
My second stay at Kantary Hills Hotel and serviced apartments. Similar room to my last stay. They are still maintaining good standards very clean and still looks modern. They need to expand the restaurant menu, but what I tried from the menu was nice if not a little pricey for Chiang Mai. See my other review for more details as nothing much has changed other than the price, which has gone up quite a bit! I am not sure this hotel is worth much more than the current asking price so suggest they re-consider raising the price anymore.

Stayed at the Kantary Hills Chiang Mai for the 2nd times in one month. The location of the hotel is very convenient. The room was more than adqueate, all of the staff very polite , a friendly welcome and obliging, the bedding was very comfortable and the bathroom immaculate. We traveled with groups of various ages. All of us enjoyed staing with this hotel. Breakfast was great. We enjoyed eating Japanese food and it was delicious and clean. We went to the special steak buffet on wednesday at the restaraunt at Kantary Hills. We think they serve best steak in chiang mai! We'd defenitely will come back again. Thank you.

New option in Chiang Mai”
The Kantary Hills new hotel/apartment is just a block off of trendy Neimenhemen Road. With a great staff, diverse breakfast, and wonderful pool it is not a surprise that this new option is already popular. The rooms are large and Thai modern in style. The studios have a small kitchen and the one bedrooms even have a washer/dryer combo. The bathrooms are clean and bright and the air conditioning works! Kantary Hills is within walking distance of the University, internet cafe, day spas, trendy shopping, great restaurants, banks, and more shopping.

Our stay at Kantary Hills was just what we needed. The rooms are bigger than other hotels in a similar price range, the pool is great, and the fitness center is modern. Breakfast is not as good or extensive as that of Le Meridien Chiang Mai.

Everytime I am in Chaigmai , I alway stay in this hotel . I like it because it is such a beautiful hotel, great finess, swimming pool , near the shop and restaurant that I like. I used to live in Chaigmai for 5 years but I got my own place at that time. I don't really know about which hotel is the good one then my best friend told me about this hotel so I went online and book it with agoda . I am very happy with it. Thanks agoda that I can stay there in a very good price. Next time I will be in Kantary hill again. Love it

Food at Kantary Hills”
This is my third stay at Kantary Hills, so it can't be that bad. In fact it is good. The management seem to be keeping on top of the maintenance which is often a problem in Thailand; so many hotels start out sparkling clean and well put together to just fall in to disrepair within a few years. As I have said in my previous reviews this hotel is of a high standard for what it is, essentially serviced apartments with Pool, Jacuzzi, Fitness and restaurant. All the fittings and fixture are fine not of the very highest standard but more than adequate. I don't think anybody staying here would be disappointed with the room as long as you consider it to be a serviced apartment, do not confuse this with a 5 star luxury hotel it is not! Main problem with the rooms is the extortionate price for internet, there are What is letting Kantary Hills down at the moment is the restaurant; I have eaten dinner on two occasion’s lunch on one and breakfast many times. While all of the serving staff are extremely polite and friendly they seem to be lacking in knowledge of how to do their jobs. Don't get me wrong I would not dismiss one of them they are all very nice people I think what is needed is a bit more training. They take a very long time to approach the table to take the order. They take even longer to bring back the drinks; they often bring the main course within minutes of the started (if ordering western style). You will end up having to either rush your starter or make extra room on the table for your main. Again there is a long delay before any plates are cleared and the bull can take an age to arrive. On this trip I started with Deep Fried Camembert with Strawberry Jam, this arrived cold, while the cheese and strawberry sauce were very nice the fact the cheese had gone cold sort of defeats the object of this classic. I then took my chances with the local (Thai) rib eye beef steak, I was expecting it to be extremely tough so ordered it well done.

A mixed bag, but overall quite good”
Overall we enjoyed our stay at Kantary Hills. The room was top notch (way better than the price would indicate), and customer service was great. Pool was wonderful, and so was the Jacuzzi, but water was a bit cool in the latter. The hotel restaurant was beautiful, but the food was simply not up to snuff. The location is decent, and Nimmanhemin Rd. has some other dining options (a short walk from the hotel). This place has a way to go to earn 5 stars, but it is definitely a solid 3.5 or 4.

great location, nice hotel”
The hotel itself hasn't got a lot of atmosphere - no great bar to speak of. However for us it was in the best location (just off Ninman Road), the room with lounge area and kitchenette was large and comfortable. Very clean and functional . Good pool area. Staff all very friendly too. The value for money, the cleanliness and great room facilities won me over despite being a little functional rather than beautiful or atmospheric. I would totally recommend Kantary Hills.

A Clean. New And Green Hotel”
I stayed a total of 5 nights, never wanting to change another hotel despite my first time staying. Everything was smooth and comfortable. Crews are friendly, hotel and room are clean. Gym and jacuzzi are on 3rd levels which are easily to access. if you don't mind a little far from those busy night bazzaar, kantary hills might just be the place for you. Quite, sophisticated, brand-new and it's not going to burn a hole in your pocket. A thumb's up from me anytime

Felt like home”
After staying on the other side of town at a 4-star hotel that I didn't like for a few days, it was a treat to spend the rest of my time at Kantary Hills. The rooms were very nice; I liked the bed, and my patio overlooking the pool was a great early morning reading place. One of the better fitness centers I've seen in a hotel, and the dry sauna and steam room were a plus. Good breakfast buffet with Thai, Japanese, American and continental selections every day.

Clean hotel with great service”
This hotel definitely provided a nice accommodation for our Chiang Mai trip. Pros: 1. Convenience It's situated in the middle of Nimman Road, where numerous nice cafe and restaurants are closed. There are two 7-Eleven nearby too. It took us only 20 minutes from the airport! 2. Helpful staff 3. Clean environment No matter the lobby, room or the swimming pool, the hotel was very clean and well managed. There were very few mosquitoes or any other bugs. Cons: 1. Wifi It's hard for us to believe that we had to pay for in-room wifi. Hope the next time we stay at this hotel the wifi can be free of charge. 2. We booked a double room (and clearly when we checked in we were couple), but they gave us a twin room. It took us around 30 minutes to swtich to a double room though the staff were polite and nice. We like this hotel very much and will choose it again if we travel to Chiang Mai in the future.

Great base for seeing Chiang Mai”
This modern clean hotel and residence is an all suite hotel, great for both long and short term stays in Chiang Mai. It is located in the trendy Nimman area, near the University, but is a short drive from the sights, both in and out of town. While the airport is nearby (and the planes fly overhead) the rooms are quiet and comfortable. We had to use the communal ironing room, which is set up nicely, but it was frustrating they didn't have ironing boards in the room. Our suite also had a washing machine, but not many good places to hang clothes to dry. Otherwise, we plan to return to this hotel when visiting Chiang Mai.

Favorite place in Chaing Mai”
Kantary Hills is staffed with all great service. The rooms are large and very accommodating. Extremely clean for Thailand, and good location. Perfect size hotel, not too small and not too big. The pool and fitness area is a real special feature too. The breakfast buffet is the best we have seen in Thailand.

Big room and nice breakfast”
Kantary Hills Hotel is a good hotel. I like their rooms. There is a small kitchen in the room which is suitable for family or long stay guests to cook the foods they like. The breakfast is excellent. Even there many hundreds of room in this hotel, the area for breakfast is not crowded like most big hotel is. It is not in the center of Chiangmai but the city is small and you can go anywhere you like in a short distance anyway.

Clean and spacious room ”
We have stayed Kantary Hill for 5 days, the room is clean and spacious, and the breakfast is much better than the average. Airport limousine is only cost 170Baths. The nearby restaurants are delicious and good price. The pool is big enough for keep fit and not too crowd, good stay for family traveler.
