“Expectations are shattered.”
On the first day, my bag was delayed at the airport and I couldn't arrive at the prearranged time. While waiting for my bag, I turned on my phone and found out that the bed in the originally booked place was broken, so I was informed to go to another location. It seemed to be the same company's building, and only the building number was different; the facilities and layout seemed to be the same. When I opened the door and entered, everything was neatly organized, and the air conditioner was already turned on, making it cool. Since I had booked for two weeks, there were two large bottles of water, drinks, and snacks prepared, which made me feel good. However, the bed had a mattress that felt almost like sleeping on the floor. After a tiring day of travel, I hoped to wake up refreshed, but I still felt tired even after several days. The shampoo and body wash in the bathroom didn't fill the cases completely, and after five days I ran out and requested a refill, but there was no response. With more than a week left in my stay, I had to go to the supermarket to buy some for myself. On the day of my booking, I checked in advance that I could use the gym and pool for free. However, the gym could only be accessed with a reservation through the resident app from the first day, and the pool changed its usage rules about ten days later, making it accessible only through the resident app as well. So, I messaged Agoda, but they said they couldn't do that since it wasn't a long-term stay. It was really absurd to be unable to use the pool in the same building on a hot summer day and be told to pay to use a private pool far away. I do not want to use accommodations in this place again.
