Best base in Chiang Mai”

My husband and I stayed to Kate and Hasu for three nights. The warmth, thoughtfulness and humor of the staff made us want to extend our stay. It was the most convenient base to access central Chiang Mai. The included breakfast was delicious and substantial. The facilities were modern. The bed was comfortable. After missing the deadline to book a cooking tour we were informed about back in the states, the hotel made reservations for us to attend what we experienced as an even more authentic cooking school that came with a recipe book. Staff remembered our names and called us by our names starting at check-in and lasting through the end of our stay. We even received morning tutorials over breakfast on communicating in Thai. This was very helpful and I was able to share the one pager with a friend residing in Chiang Mai for a few months. I highly recommend this place and look forward to staying here during future trips...that's if they aren't fully booked at the time. 5 stars.

Exceptional”

We really enjoyed our stay at Kate and Hasu Boutique Hotel. The location was ideal,a short walk to the old city and the night markets but in a much quieter side street. The rooms were compact but very functional.The beds were extremely comfortable. The hotel was well designed and always very clean. The breakfasts were excellent. The staff were fantastic, so friendly, helpful and full of good humour. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Chiang Mai

Nice Boutique Hotel near Thapae Gate, Chiangmai ”

Nice first impression of the neat, well maintained boutique hotel at check in, and lobby. Staff Po was excellent and showed us to the room with no fuss. Room generally clean and adequate. The shower area could be a little larger. Most details are well considered. The breakfast was delicious and tastefully presented at the poolside. I must commend Saint and Po for their excellent and attentive service. Especially Po who checked us in, recommended places to visit, and also helped to book a car to send us to the airport for departure. Look forward to our next trip to Chiangmai and staying at Kate and Hasu again. Excellent !

Best boutique hotel I've experienced! ”

Location: Its definitely one of best location in my opinion. Literally 5 mins walk to the night market and 7 mins to the old city. Despite the strategic location, its pleasantly very quiet and peaceful during the night. Rooms: Rooms was definitely good enough for me and my partner. Bed and pillow was comfy. Despite all the reviews about how small the toilet/bathroom was, it was functional and we had no issues with it at all. We were also provided with free drinks in the minibar! Staff: What can I say, 5 stars wouldn't be enough for what I have experienced! Po, Saint & Ked was super helpful, friendly and welcoming! Their awesome customer service is definitely way better than some high end hotels that I've stayed! Although it was just a short 2 nights stay, they made us feel at home. To Ked, Po, Saint & the entire Kate & Hasu team, THANK YOU FOR YOUR AWESOME HOSPITALITY and making my first experience in Chiang Mai wonderful!

Excellent stay at Kate and Hasu”

Stayed at Kate and Hasu for five nights and couldn't fault the place and the service we received. As others have stated the room is a little small but this is a boutique hotel and the service you receive more than makes up for it. All the staff were excellent but a special thank you to Saint for making us feel really welcome and knowledgeable about where to go and what to see and do. The staff at Kate and Hasu are wonderful. They were so helpful in giving us restaurant recommendations and seeing to our every need and comfort with genuine caring. Located on a quiet side street, Kate and Hasu provided a peaceful respite from the busy streets of Chiang Mai and yet we were close to everything. I would highly recommend Kate and Hasu to anyone planning to visit Chiang Mai.

We spent 4 days at this boutique hotel and couldn’t have made a better choice in accommodation. Most importantly, the place is kept clean, and the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. Breakfast is substantial and delishious. The rooms are a bit small but comfortable. If I return to Chiangmai in the future, Kate and Hasu will definitely be my choice of accommodation. Highly recommend.

Warm Welcome in Chiangmai Mai”

The staff at Kate and Hasu are wonderful. They are sweet and eager to help you with whatever you need: booking tours, packing breakfast for early excursions and even scheduling taxis rides to the airport at three in the morning. Aside from the staff, the hotel itself is quite cute. The rooms and common areas are very well decorated and kept very clean. The only downside for some is the size of the room and bathroom, which are small. For us, this cute little boutique hotel was the perfect place to stay on our first trip to CM. Old City and the Night Bazaar are both within ten minutes walk. I would definitely stay here again!

If you are looking for a welcoming hotel, comfy and a clean room with a nice bed, great shower and close to everything this hotel is perfekt. They have wonderful staff who can help you with anything. This is the place to stay in Chiang Mai!!!!!! I have tried 5 different hotels in town but this has to be the Winner! Thank you all staff at Kate and Hasu you made my staff so enjoyable. I will come back.

Lovely hotel but...”

Kate and Hasu Boutique was an excellent choice of accommodation. The location was superb and close to the night market, the staff were great and extremely friendly, and the breakfast, which was a set menu, was delicious. However, keep in mind that the room was very small. It's not suitable if you have a lot of luggage. That extends to the toilet too, which felt like a box. I would like to thank the staff, especially Po, for the hospitality and helpfulness; they delayed the check out for us.

I stayed at Kate & Hasu for 5 nights during Songkran, I couldn't be happier with the staff/hotel location or the hotel itself. The manager Nanne alone is worth staying here, as she is so friendly & fun to talk with. I rarely give a 5 star review, but Kate & Hasu deserves it as they make you feel like family. I got food poisoning (Thai Iced tea?) and the front desk knew about this, they called me at 3 pm in the afternoon just to check up on me & to see if I needed anything as I haven't left my room yet. That is exceptional! Highly recommended hotel, stay here you will have a great experience!

Cute boutique hotel near the night market with the most amazing staff!”

We loved our stay at Kate and Hasu! Nice and clean with good location, and the atmosphere is just chilled and relaxed. The breakfast was really delicious. The best was the staff: Saint, Po, and Ked made us feel really welcomed, and we never felt this kind of attention in any other hotel. We will definitely stay here next time in Chiang Mai!

I have never stayed somewhere where the staff was as friendly as the staff (Ked, Saint, Po, Porn, Tu, and Petch) at Kate and Hasu. Ked and Saint are the best! They would greet us by name, and when we left, Saint made us iced coffee and said goodbye with a hug. The staff is so funny and so accommodating and made our stay so memorable. I saw them sing and give birthday cake to a guest who had just checked in. Breakfast is delicious and filling. The room is clean, and the facilities are very nice. Beautiful views of the mountains and city from our room. Well worth the money! Location is also great - walking distance to old town attractions, lots of restaurants, and to the Night Bazaar. STAY HERE!

I honestly don't know where to start - to us, everything was perfect! The staff is so friendly, they really care about every single guest which is why I'd rate this as the best place I've ever stayed at in the whole of Thailand. They give helpful advice, try to chat with you in the morning... it was really amazing. Kate & Hasu is nicely located in a quiet area, though not too far away from the old town - just about 5min on foot. The hotel offers many main choices for breakfast served with fruits, tea/coffee, juice and steamed sticky rice in banana leaves. The room itself is rather small, however, there should be enough space to hang some clothes and put your luggage on a small shelf. The bathroom is very little like most of the other guests have already mentioned in previous reviews. I loved the minimalistic style (since I and my bf travel with hand-luggage only for several weeks we don't have that much stuff), though it could not be for everyone. BEST EXPERIENCE, ขอบคุณมากค่ะ

We had a lovely four-night stay at Kate & Hasu and felt it was the perfect home base to enjoy all that Chiang Mai had to offer without the noise of an Old City stay. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier or more welcoming and were extremely helpful with local recommendations and connecting us with some tour companies for day trips. Would absolutely stay here again!

This is the BEST boutique hotel I've never been”

Where do i start?! The check in was quick and easy. The room was so clean, very well designed, and bright with natural sunlight. Breakfast was simply amazing with multiple choices for different dietary preferences. Ked, Saint and team were so accommodating, nice, and gave us so many great recommendations for what to do and and where to eat. Staying at Kate and Hasu was one of the best decisions we've made. We will definitely be coming back again! Thank you Ked and Saint again for everything!

Though it is very small, the Kate and Hasu is a wonderful getaway in the bustle of Chiang Mai. The atmosphere is relaxing and clean and staff is best we encountered....and we stayed at 4 hotels, as this was booked up.

Fabulous Stay”

I had the most fabulous stay at Kate and Hasu, the hotel was beautiful and the staff so friendly. In particular, Pho, Saint and Gate made me feel like I was at home. Breakfast was lovely and the location could not be better. The only critique I have is that there needs to be a bit more shelving/ storage in the room as it is very small. Thank you for a wonderful stay, I will be back :)
