This was our second time staying at Gaia Cosmo. Twas on June and I told my husband to bring my family here at New Year. So here we are again after 6 mo. The staff are very nice, service is so extra, we enjoyed staying here. But one thing we didn’t expect that the room we stayed were dirty and lack of maintenance. We told the hotel manager on the next morning and he apologized. They upgrade our room to the Corner Suite one. We are happy for that, but that’s not the goal. We hope Gaia Cosmo can always keep up the good standard so next time when We revisit, we can find the place clean and well maintain. Wish Gaia to always be successful and become the best hotel in Yogyakarta

I booked this hotel as a gift for my friend who just got merried. Ms. Dwi from Mercure Yogyakarta reservation staff was helping me to assist a little surpraise room decoration for my friend. She was very helpful and responsive. My friend was very happy during her stay at Mercure Yogyakarta. She mention that she had a great experience and memorable stay at Mercure Yogyakarta. When i booked this hotel, i not expect too much because i think it is only a budget hotel but it is above than my expectation. With warm welcome from staffs, big lobby and smooth check in. My room located in 5th floor was a superior twin room is big for me. The facilities such as bathroom ammenities, safety box, cattle, 2 mineral water (500ml per each) for a day, coffee tea.. it has a cable tv too and internet wifi which is a quite good speed.. it is located in a main road and a cinema in front this hotel and starbucks coffee..u can buy food near the hotel.. i also buy a food at Giant Express which is near.. one more tips, please use GRAB which is available in Yogyakarta and more cheaper than taxi.. I will be back here because im satisfied with this hotel and the staffs is polite and always smile :)

Their staff are the best, it was my 3rd times to stay in this hotel. My mom has allergic issue to dust and when i booked i asked them if it possible if the room can be totally clean and they did it. The recepsionit even called the housekeeping staff to clean the room again for 2nd times and make sure they do it everyday even when i extend for another 2 days. All staff are great, they really tried their best also really helpful. The food for breakfast also nice so many food option that u can choose. Keep up the good work :) , Im sure will stay in this hotel again next trip

Negative : 1)limited parking area, so u must give car's key to valet parking attendant. 2)Sometimes, the taste of food in breakfast is too salty and not to much various of food but it's okay because the room price include breakfast is affordable. 3) AC did'nt work well, but when i asked receptionist to fix it, then it worked well again. POSITIVE : 1)the Hotel have affordable deal price ! Not too expensive but u can have room like 4 stars hotel, i was very happy to be here. 2) The Hotel have responsible employees and they are so friendly. Maybe in the future i will stay in here again if i go to Yogyakarta. Thank you for the service

The HR should be proud of themselves. They did a great job in selecting and training the best people to work for the hotel. I checked in late and asked for an extended check out. To my surprise, it was approved with a smile. But things got way even better.. 5 mins later, the front office desk and the manager knocked on my room and surprised me with a birthday cake (with the candles and all!!). I was not expecting that, but it was very much welcomed. Felt so welcome in this hotel. Everyone I interacted to was genuinely friendly and helpful. Totally recommend Ibis Adisucipto to everyone, and certainly will come back.

This value for money hotel is beside luxury hotels so the area is wonderfully located where one can have easy access to go around the city and even take trains to go to nearby cities. Once you step out of the hotel, there are several choices where to eat and shop and visit some attractions. The staff of the hotel is not only efficient but also friendly. There is a wide selection of breakfast and tasted really good. Had a wonderful stay and thanks to agoda, was able to book at a very reasonable price. Will recommend this hotel to anyone planning to go to Yogyakarta ... And hope to be back in the near future

I was thinking that the hotel would be regular backpacker hotel which lack of this and that. But once I came, I was honestly surprised. The pictures shown in Agoda are the same as reality. That's one good point as I usually get disappointed by some hotel pictures in Agoda. I am also lucky enough to have window as some rooms are having none. The check in and check out are fast. They didn't even check my ID. (Weird.) They also give me double bed as I requested. The room is big, and even the bathroom. I've been to more expensive hotel, 4 or 5 stars, but they didn't have room as big as this one. Talk about location, there's a public bus station near the hotel, and cinema is just 2 minutes walk from the hotel. Airport? Just a straight line from eastern Solo Road, directly to hotel. Malioboro? Another easy access. Go straight to the west, turn to the left, and tadaaa you're in Malioboro.

Introduced by a friend about a place you could stay and feel relax after awesome day traveling around fabulous city. This place will not let you down, such a nice service given by its associate, an adequate room and an extra mile effort will blow you away apart from its star whatsoever. One thing that made us surprised was a free in room breakfast due to the restaurant closed for some reason. Located in the heart of city, you could easily reach malioboro street, amazing royal palace, taman sari water kingdom and many more historical sites or plaza ambarukmo as biggest and oldest mall in town. Should you need a tour to outskirt of city for temple pilgrim or just enjoy them, they will find you the best car with the driver and awesome value. We spent less than $45 for 12 hours ride. The GM, Mr. Seno and team did not even bother to lend us his motorcycle for short city ride while we are waiting our flight. I would recommend this hotel to those who look for a good value of money, an enough space for you and your lugagges and good wifi connection without demanding for fancy room lay out, wide spread of breakfast or expensive orchid facilities. Surely, we will come back to this hotel whenever we visit yogyakarta. Thank you grove express.....

The hotel is centrally located - near malioboro, post office and the palace, near the train station too. I was surprised to find the rooms to be superbly clean even the common bathrooms. You can check in anytime, i had the first flight in and i arrived around 7am. i was able to check in my room. Really great for backpackers and budget travellers. Id definitely book this hotel when in town.

Hotel was difficult to find in the dark. Didn't meet the real staff at arrival and departure. So never checked in and out. Nice bed, beautiful view on the ricefields. Snowy tv-channels, very noisy airconditioning in the bathroom. Didn't accept breakfast of white soft bread with coloured sweet jelly (jam/confiture). One of the 'staff' offered me to get Nasi Gudeg for me. The hotel really feels like a homestay. But I didn't meet any guest. Hotel is well-kept, quite spacy.

we booked the family suite and we were so amazed with the room that look like modern classic traditional, all in one, and still feel like home. all facilities functioned perfectly. staffs are extremely friendly and we will be back for sure. good location too, theres saloon nearby for ladies that love to have a quick makeover, you may go there. will definitely come back if we ever visit jogja again! good job guys

Omah Sabah B&B is a very nice and clean homestay where you can get the feel of local hospitality done right. The owners are very friendly and they really did their best to help me out with any questions I had. The room was comfy and big enough for 2 as well. Omah Sabah is not located in the center of Yogya which was perfect for me. This way I could find my own way through Yogya by public transport (with directions from the the owners). It is situated in a quiet neigborhood, far enough from the busy main road which helped me get some shut eye. A bit different from the very busy Malioboro street. In short, a pleasant, clean and comfortable homestay away from the busy center of Yogyakarta.

I was supposed to stay for only one or two nights, but extended my stay here until the end of the my time in Jogja. Even though all of the staff wouldn't know English perfectly, they are all really nice and helpful in every way. First I was a bit afraid to book this due to few reviews, but there is no reason to be afraid. The place is really new and they are still finishing it, so that is most likely the main reason. The building is and the rooms are very clean and have all the necessary equipment. I booked a single room but got upgraded to a double. The only con would be that it is not totally centrally located. But. After having stayed one night in a similarly priced place downtown, I really recommend you to book this place. So much more value for the money. The staff will help you to get to different places and they have scooter rental, so no need to worry! The breakfast was good and they varied it a bit during my stay. Highly recommend!

I was there for an academic conference, and stayed a few days past the conference to explore. The facilities themselves (which are perfectly fine, but that's about it) are what make the hotel two-stars, as well as the fact that nearby hotels (e.g., Hotel Ashi) are significantly more comfortable/"classy" for a lower price. I assume that the morning buffet made up for the difference, but if you are not after buffets and/or are alright with having to hunt for your breakfast, then it's not really worth the difference to me (about 100,000 rupiah). The service, however, was always friendly and accommodating. I would say that they are the best part of the stay.

My stay at the Hotel Paku Mas was wonderful. The hotel is kept meticulously clean. The rooms are comfortable. The staff are outstanding in terms of their friendliness and readiness to help. The hotel is conveniently located between the airport and the centre of Yogyakarta. This means you can dip into the action and then find relaxing space when back at the hotel. It is also located within easy walking distance of a major shopping mall. Hotel Paku Mas is also very reasonably priced. Next time I visit Yogyakarta I wouldn't even consider looking for another hotel. I will go straight to Hotel Paku Mas!
