This is a perfect location for relaxation if that's what you are looking for. All the amenities needed from a home-stay is there -- washing machine, kitchen, two bathrooms, nice indoor or outdoor dining tables etc are just some of them. Siranee, who is the host of the vacation home made sure that we have had all the information we needed to get to the house and to familiarise ourselves with the surroundings. Things to note: 1) This place is best reached and surroundings best experienced by a self-driven rental car. It gives you more flexibility to visit the nearby hot springs, markets, convenient stores and temples. 2) Due to its unique situation that water is drawn from the local ground water (which we believe is rich in minerals like those in the hot spring), the water source in the house has a certain smell to it, but is bearable. We take it as a free mineral water source! The water itself made the skin smooth and somewhat silky, which is not a bad deal at all!

We arrived at the hotel and fell in love with the place immediately. The place was a bit hidden in the country but there were signs to get you there. One of the main attractions was the fast internet. We arrived and was taken immediately to our room near the swimming pool. We liked the room because it was a duplex with TV and bathroom downstairs and the bedroom upstairs. The upstairs room had a ceiling fan and air conditioner. Downstairs was a sofa with a flatscreen TV. The cable tv had 200 channels. Downstairs has a small refrigerator full of drinks and snacks. The bathroom was key! The shower was wonderful with flathead shower heads and a lot of space for bathing. The water was hot and powerful. The whole room was planned very well and well designed. The owners spent some money building the place to provide good services for their guests. They were not cheap and did not cut corners like many hotels in Thailand. Outside of the room was the pool, recreation room, bar and restaurant. The pool was always refreshing and the water not hot from the sun. The bartender was always there to serve you drinks from the bar. The mango shakes were delicious and very refreshing in the hot sun. The list of drinks available was comprehensive. The food was the best part. We chose to eat 3 meals a day there. The food was excellent, we ate like pigs, and the prices were quite reasonable. Naturally, the Thai food was the most desirable. The finger food available at the bar and swimming pool was great. The shrimp cakes and spring rolls were our favorite. For formal dining, the 3 flavor fish was out favorite along with some special northern Thai curries. The food was fresh, well prepared, and very tasty. We relaxed in the evening with a cordial by the bar and swimming pool. At the end, we did not want to leave. Every hotel should be like that, but few are. This place is special; the owners, staff and quality make it so. All very affordable.

The hospitality stands out the most in this gem of a property, located in a peaceful farming area next to the hills. The food was delicious and the owners made you feel the retreat was an extension of your own home. With an espresso in hand, mountain views, a relaxing waterfall feature in the pool, the sounds of nature are soothing and a great reprieve from city life. This is ideal for young families as well as older children who enjoy outdoor sports, with a great pump track as well as an indoor training facility for martial arts, as well as a balance bike track, the kids will be busy! Located on the property for more experienced riders are BMX style jumps, mountain biking trails as well as a 3 par golf range. I'd recommend this place for large gatherings, and corporate events as well.
