Where to stay in Malate
Malate hotels & accommodations
I have stayed in many good hotels in Malate/Mabini, but this was my first stay at the Diamond, based on a very good rate via Agoda. I enjoyed the stay very much, and will certainly look to stay again in the future. Just one small issue - the food was I felt very average for a hotel of this stature, and suffered as many hotels do in Manila form having chefs who mix i...
After staying in a very rough provincial hotel (in Cagayan de Oro) for a few days, I took a day to recover at the Pan Pacific Hotel in Malate Manila. Most travellors don't like Malate (it can be very seedy, particularly near the hotel) but I like it, on the magnificient Manila Bay as it is and near the charming Remedios Circle (with bars and restaurants). I took an exe...
First time I stayed at this Condotel and it was well worth it. The reception is split between JMM Grand Suite, another condotel and residences that live there. Security here is very good considering everyone requires an access card to get through the turn style before getting on the elevator. Check in took about 20-minutes since there is only one computer available a...
affordable hotel near robinson's mall malate. Hotel staff are accommodating. The first room we got had a problem with its electronic door. We were transferred to another room which had a non functioning shower bulb. But I would still come back to this hotel next year. The UBE airport bus is just across the road near the Robinson's mall so transport from and to the a...
My Filipina girlfriend and I decided to book 6days in the Regency Grand Suite and hoped it would be perfect for my last weeks stay in the Philippines. We were NOT dissappointed! We were greeted by the friendlest receptionist called Joseph who did everything for us from check us in to fixing the WIFI connection :) from there the stay in the hotel just got better. The l...
This was my first time to book a hotel room in the heart of Malate. I looked for one that is affordable (since it's just a 1-night stay and all I really needed was a dress-up room for a wedding that I attended the following day) but had good reviews. Plus, one of my most basic requirements/ expectations is a CLEAN ROOM - with clean beddings and clean bathroom. And, Am...
pros: the hotel was fairly easy to find, especially since it's just along the storied adriatico st. in malate, which also wasn't as bad as i'd expected. ermita is a constantly evolving place, no wonder one finds all sorts of travelers, regulars and locals on adriatico st. there are historic sites nearby and the hotel isn't that far from manila's more touristy attra...
okay so we all know ermita/malate is a sleazy and dodgy area with an army of child-beggars and homeless people camping on the streets at night, but as there is all the infrastructure a traveler needs, most people still decide to stay here. hotel located a stone-throw away from robinson's ermita mall, the centrepoint of the area. rooms have been recently renovated and a...
Motel 168 (Hotel 168 ) is located inside Birch Tower, a condotel in Malate, Manila. Robinsons Mall is so near that you can see it from your balcony. The pool is not heated though, gym is a bit small but enough, located on the 9th floor. Clean room with key card, functioning kitchenette, firm bed, working tv, hot water in the bathroom, balcony. My room was on the 9th fl...
Dear fellow Readers This is my first time staying at this lovely, clean, safe, friendly hotel. For the price and position in Malate, Manila its worth trying and see for yourself. As this hotel was a great experience I will be back at this hotel with pleasure, the hotel is close to Robinsons Mall Malate, Ninoy International Airport, and all restaurants and cafes in the ...
Upon arrival to the hotel, at first site, makes a person already welcomed by the two bellboys with their smiles an very willing to assist. The front desk however during the check in kind of took to long, there were to many staff using the same computer the same girl was using checking me and my friend in. The room was great, clean and equipped with condiments and neces...
one of the best deals ever. i was so glad i found this place. the previous night i was in a horrible location outside robinson galleria, malate. it was so refreshing to move to a quiet location and into a very charming hotel. the room was a real suite with an entry/living room leading to a separate bedroom and bathroom. the staff was very accommodating and they hav...
Late review already, anyway we had fun since our itinerary here was really near in this hotel like Robinson Manila, Malate church and 7 eleven. I hope they will maintain the cleanliness of the pool and suitable for children too.
My second time here and this is an older but quaint hotel in the heart of Malate and is very well run by the competent staff and management. Security is high priority and guests can feel safe if you are concerned. The hotel is quite comfortable but ageing, so don't expect the Hyatt here. It is a good price/value for money. A few minutes stroll to the modern Robinsons M...
The Executive Plaza Hotel in Malate, Manila, the Philippines is located in the center of the Malate night life and is an excellent value for the money. The rooms are very spacious, in good repair, exceptionally clean and well appointed with a nice desk and two easy chairs, and the rooms are quiet even though the hotel is on a busy street. The beds are comfortable and...
its located along the service road of Roxas Blvd., near the mall of asia, robinson mall malate, sofitel, Phil gen hospital,US embassy, luneta park, ocean park, malate church, surrounded by many famous restaurants including a famous Chinese restaurant on their ground floor. The building is not new, you see wood tiles as their floor tiles, its room facilities are good i...
This is a hotel comprised of serviced apartments run by people on the 30th floor. They are not the only 'hotel' operating in this 50 story relatively new building but they are cheaper than the competition. The staff on the 30th floor clean the apartment daily and were very quick to come and clean up a broken glass I dropped. Internet and Cable TV are good. there is a f...
The rate was fine. Selection for buffet breakfast was just okay (you'll get 2 viand, a vegetable side, choices between plain and garlic rice plus coffee, tea or powdered juice drink) Over-all, given a chance, I would still choose this hotel for a night stay. They have complete bathroom accessories and toiletries. Hot or cold shower, room slippers, free mini bar and com...
Stayed a week at Victoria Court Malate. Very satisfied with the quality of the total service. Hotel for adults. The privacy and security of the hotel guests is essential. Entrance is via an underground private garage. Rooms are nicely decorated to intimate love nests and a sluice so that you can order drinks or food without disturbing. The prices (food, drinks, room) ...
Absolutely super hotel, could not fault it in any way. We were on the 8th floor with a great view of Malate towards Manila Bay. Very good location for all things Malate and Ermita, highly recommended.
If the highest score is 10 then I would give them a score of 11. Heroes Hotel have exceeded my expectations in a hotel. If you want the service of a 5-star hotel that would still fit your budget then just book your stay here. All of their staff are courteous and ready to help you with anything, their facilities are awesome (specially their bathroom!! I love their showe...
We saw this place while walking around Malate last year. So, after reading up on Sohotel we decided to book here for 10 days, For the price, the room is worth the money. If you need a good dependable Internet connection, DO NOT STAY HERE. Even looking at my Yahoo e-mail was a problem. No downloading of anything, including anti-virus updates. I complained and I was told...
Second time stayed at Palm plaza, still my fav hotel in malate, location wise and the room size, ( mine is double superior room on 8th floor) , I would like to thank the receptionist letting me to late check out at 3pm without extra cost, ( selamat pó) :) like the bath room, shower area has a deep base, so no water splash every where while u having a shower, water press...
during our stay in the philippines of more than two months, we keep on coming back to this hotgel when we return to manila from the provinces. great location in malate, walking distance to manila bay or a short cab or tricycle ride. oasis of calm in frenetic manila. an the swimming pool is also now operational. everything works, excellent wifi plus hard wired inter...
Excellent place and nice choices of breakfast. I am just concern with the videoke downstairs at the cafe at night time. Still can hear the noise inside the room (I stayed at the second floor). The rest, is awesome!!!
This is my regular hotel when I stay in Manila. The rooms are large, the breakfast is good and the staff are friendly and security conscious. The hotel is located in a quiet street, but only 5 minutes walk to Robinsons Place, the major shopping mall in the area. It is 10 minutes walk to Manila Bay, and 20 minutes walk to Rizal Park and Manila Ocean Park. There are als...

We stayed in CozyDito for 3 nights and it was really good. Dorms are spacy as well as the common room. Toilets are clean and you can use a kitchen as well. But the best is the staff, everyone is so nice and friendly :) We totally enjoyed!
Also I wasn't refunded.
I had a roomie who is staying in the hostel for a month and she had food in the room, kept AC remote for herself and keeps the lights on all the time. Please advise guests upon arrival to be considerate of others. I had a bad experience because of her inappropriate behavoiour in the room. I did inform the reception. Since i stayed for two nights. First night i let her ...
Basic capsule hotel in Malate. Very near Robinson’s Place Manila and Bellagio Square. Breakfast is coffee and toast with some jams. There’s a restaurant the the 2F but a bit pricey for what they offer. The rooms can have a bit more soundproofing.
This wasn't my first time to stay at Where 2 Next, but this is my first time making the booking thru Agoda. Anyway, as always, it was easy to spot because like I said, it wasn't my first time. When I arrived, I was greeted by smiling faces, thanks to Maila and Belle (these two were new, but they were awesome!). I stated my reservation details & the check-in process was...
we booked this accommodation last minute as we needed a room to stay that was closer to the airport. malate is a really happening spot and runs 24 hours 7 days a week! all the hustle and bustle that manila is world renowned for! if you love japanese and korean food this is the spot! central location and modern, comfortable and spacious facilities. there was a bit of a ...
Easy check in and out just make sure you have 3000 security deposit rooms only cleaned once a week unless you want to pay extra would stay again
It was good experience to stay RedDoorz near Quirino Station. The room was Clean. However the bed size was not the size posted in Agoda. According to the staff, it is not the fault of them but the fault of Agoda itself. because according to the staff Agoda did not visit their place to inspect. Because of the inaccurate information of the booking details. We needed to...
My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Malate Pensionne, although it was just a short stay, I would say that we enjoyed it. Friendly and helpful staff. Room size and bed was good enough to have a good night rest, which is what is really important for us. I would stay again with them and recommend the Malate Pensionne to friends looking for an affordable, clean and comfo...
Best price within the price range of 1k to 2k within Metro Manila. Reservation. Easy booking via Agoda. Once submitted, it already reflected on the hotel's record within a minute/two. Location. Manila, accessible on Malate, Makati, Pasay. Room. New. Clean. No stains or broken walls/furniture. Price. No other hotel in Manila will give you this quality for its competi...
This is a good clean hotel that has nice comfortable room with good bed, good shower, cable television and a mini fridge. For the reasonable price this hotel charges, it is pretty hard to find something comparable in malate. Although it is a 2km walk to Robinsons Mall, nothing a 50 pesos tricycle ride wont cure. I enjoyed the 2 weeks I stayed here until I had to le...

My family stayed in this hotel the time when there was flood all over Manila last month. First few days, the inn wasn't flooded and that was a relief since Manila was 75% flooded already. Unfortunately, when Manila was 90% flooded with 3days rain and storm, the first floor was wet too. But thankfully, rain stopped after 3days and that was it. Fairly, almost all inns an...
Our building had a blackout nearing midnight and Im pregnant and happen to be alone in the house. I was looking for something cheap that would house me for like 8-10 hours and I saw this place selling a room for 8 USD. I quickly booked it. They have a nice guard, and a nice receptionist. I was already sleepy and irritated but they were polite and nice and accommodating...

nothing to say but one of the best hotel in Malate at affordable price
Maybe a Dormitory may still be considered as a Hotel, but I may just be expecting a little bit more. There are nearby hotels of the same price which offers far better amenities. The room may not be that dirty but I cannot say it is clean. There was this nerve of rust from the switch to the floor. No TV in the room. The wifi signal is quite good and the staff are all pl...

Wifi in the all hotel. Hotel well situed in center of Malate, near Robinson Mall, but in the middle for girls bar's. Only 30min by car from the airport. Room cleen, very simple.
I consider this hotel to be a very friendly and fully equipped hotel. Staff are very friendly. Room is quite okay... it's rather small but I'm travelling solo... so it's not a concern. Bathroom is small... but it has strong water and it has a shower heater... the sink is also cute (it's half the size of your normal bathroom sink) Air conditioning is very strong... the...
This is not the first time I stay in Sogo Hotel in Malate. I like to book Sogo Hotel from AGODA. With the breakfast include and confortable room make me & my family like to stay there. The staff also very friendly & helpfull. And there is a 7Eleven just opposite the hotel.
Stay was very good. We did have to stay at Leez Inn the first night, but that establishment was very nice with a brand new room and the hotel staff provided transportation between the 2 hotels. Cable TV and A/C were nice to have as was the little hot water kettle which was provided. Good hot water in the shower, bathroom was very clean. Staff was very friendly (helped ...

PROS= The apartment/condo seems brand new. Comfortable bed. Excellent gym. Has a washing machine and spin dryer. Good location. Elevator not crowded. Apart from the air con there is also a standing electric fan in the room. Nice and simple overall. CONS= The induction stove wasn't working. Reported to staff but they couldn't fix it. The TV had no cable and only worke...

I was given an upgrade to club level by paying for the breakfast. It was a good decision as the room was clean and cozy. Staff at ground floor and club level were excellent. A good stay and would come back again if I had to stay in Malate area.

Good facilities has a gym and swimming pool and the apartment itself is nice and really clean and has kitchen facilities. it was an experience truly worth forgetting. inconvenience with the AC unit was not solved. electricity was affected and had to talk to different people to address the concern. wanted to transfer but money wont be returned accordingly. my first and last condo booking. wont ever try again. enough of the terrible inconvenience.
The building is home for students with very rich parents who could afford to buy a place, for their children's studying in the most expensive school nearby. The building is so busy that when I arrived the reception has got nothing to do with #4636 as it is privately own. I was so nervous whether when I could enter the room as I was so tired traveling for 16 hours from ...
Looking forward to more bookings with you. :)
It is better to get a hotel if you have a car. The parking fee is very very high.
It has the best service in Manila period. Added to its prime location being next to the mall and a great view to the manila Bay makes it the best Malate Hotel to be in. I have been to Manila for the last 3 years and would pride myself as a frequent flyer there. I have stayed in hotels ranging from makati high end (Peninsula) to resorts world (Maxims, Marriot and Remin...
