It was a pretty good stay. When we entered the room, it was already cold which was a good thing since it was so hot outside. Bed is good, clean. Room didn't smell good nor bad. Hope they'll put something for rooms to smell awesome. Anyway, TV wasn't working at first so we requested for maintenance assistance, and he came 15 minutes later. Bad experience: My partner did killed a tiny cockroach in the CR. A very small one, he said. Worst part was the shower head. It was old and splatters everywhere! A nightmare! It was hurtful on the skin and head. Temperature setter was inaccurate. Its either too hot or cold. I didnt like that CR at all. Breakfast was awesome! We enjoyed it to bits! So many options, not sure if its because a Sunday. Kitchen staff were courteous. We did a quick dive in the pool. Got the place on our own since no one used it in the morning. And it was nice. Check out process was swift. I requested for a pillow the night before and they only charged 75php for it. No hidden charges at all. It was perfect in terms of location! Walking distance to Megamall and Galleria. A jeepney/bus away from Greenhills. And a 100php taxi fare going to Cubao Bus Liners. All good! Will definitely come back. But I prefer not to be on the same room with that CR. Thank you Malayan Hotel!

Overall, our stay was pleasant. We were pleasantly surprised that the one-bedroom unit was spacious for its price. Its location is notable, as it’s right beside offices and close to malls, making it convenient to visit those places. There's also complimentary parking in the hotel basement, which is a big plus since parking spaces are hard to find. Additionally, there’s paid parking in front in case the complimentary spots are full. The breakfast buffet is decent for the price. The rooms were clean, and the Wi-Fi signal was strong, which is great for working from the hotel. In terms of areas for improvement, the room’s air conditioning was freezing, and the temperature didn’t rise even when we adjusted it. On the second day, it stopped cooling altogether. Thankfully, the unit has two air conditioners.

We decided to book again at Malayan Hotel, since all of the staff who assisted us from the front desk office and on the breakfast buffet venue, are very friendly and approachable. Cleanliness can be improved. On the bathroom, there is no rug, and no plates or cutlery were provided, we even have to ask for it and call housekeeping. Balcony was closed, and we didn’t have a chance to view the sunset and sunrise from our window. Food on the buffet was good, however options were very limited. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Things mentioned above are some of the minor things that can be improved for a more comfortable experience. But, we will definitely be back, for sure.

Risky Bringing a Car”
I would like to share my recent experience regarding the lack of parking for hotel guests, which caused significant inconvenience during our stay. When my wife inquired about parking, the Front Desk staff argued with her, claiming it was clearly stated on Agoda that the hotel lacked guest parking. However, when asked to show where this information was mentioned—either on Agoda or in the email booking confirmation—the staff could not provide any evidence. Instead, they stated that it was "the first time" such an issue had occurred. Unfortunately, this made us feel like unwitting "first victims" of the situation. We were directed to an open parking lot in front of the hotel, near the Podium Mall. The facility was substandard, unpleasant, and far from the expectations set by staying at your hotel. To add insult to injury, the parking fee was exorbitantly high—more expensive than parking rates in BGC. Despite assurances from hotel staff that overnight parking would only cost Php400.00, this was not the case. This experience left a negative impression on what would otherwise have been an enjoyable stay. I strongly suggest that the hotel provide clear and accurate information about parking in its online listings and booking confirmations. Additionally, I encourage the management to consider arranging a more convenient and reasonably priced parking option for guests to avoid similar frustrations in the future.
